I just got to see them at Warped Tour and they are sounded flawless as ever. <3 Their new vocalist is insane. It's great. (Well I guess he's not that new anymore but yea lol.)

Just got myself started up. I'm "demiseandkiss".

Rendez-Vous ended up being one of my favorites off of this one. TONIGHT, as well. But overall I was disappointed. It sounds like a bunch of old songs they didn't know what to do with. If this mini came out around Kyutai era I might have been more impressed with it. Suiren sounds like it could have been on Shion, even. But I'm one of the few that likes their newer releases so I guess I'm a rare case holding them to their newer standards when everyone else has been waiting for them to return to "classic" Mucc. I also don't feel their current production style suits these songs very well. It's not as raw and crunchy as it used to sound, and this sounds too compressed (okay for more electronic stuff, not so much for hard rock) to keep the energy it should have. Everything feels flat and guitars sound more like an annoying buzz than the roar they should be. The bass also feels pushed a lot farther down in the mix than I'd like it to be. They're only a 4 piece, you should be able to hear everyone all the time. Eh, it's a neutral 2.5 out of 5 from me this time around.

@fitear1590 I'm always happy to see your vk recommends. I hadn't gotten around to checking out tokinokito or horobi no bigaku yet. Both bands will be properly on my radar now. That horobi no bigaku song is so out of left field. I love it! If I had a little more time this month I wanted to write up something for Kidori Kidori too, I was so torn between the song you chose and "傘を閉じれば". So much goodness! That Bilinda Butcher's song is also another interesting pick I'm really happy you opted to share. Even if she doesn't feel the same way, it is always better to clear the air and know what feelings you both are dealing with than constantly feel like you are guessing.
