天/Ten/Heaven also come up a lot in my songs. the GazettE have at least two titles with heaven in them. Buck-Tick also have a couple, Alice Nine, Gackt, Mejibray, NoGoD (also more than one when you search english and kanji versions of the same word), Schwarz Stein, 9Goats Black Out... and I'm sure tons more.

In the early Exist Trace days I would have said Danger Gang without a second thought but ever since Vanguard, Exist Trace pulled away and they're getting better all the time. I still love Danger Gang, but they've kind of plateaued, imo.

逹瑯 / MUCC : He has such a unique voice and lots of passion behind it. I think people have always loved or hated him for it. And for having one of the deeper voices in visual kei, his falsetto is a thing of magic to me. 左迅 / girugamesh : His voice is always really piercing (some voices cut through music and others blend into it) and again, he has a lot of emotion that comes through. His scream is also probably my favorite amoung vk singers, though he doesn't do it as much anymore. nigu / cocklobin, tosinn : His voice is what I imagine silk would sound like. It's just really smooth and has this ring to it. It's hard for me to explain, but I can get lost in it. 団長 / NoGoD, 新興宗教楽団NoGoD : His range is ridiculous, and while I didn't like his voice so much at the start, every release he got stronger and more solid and now I think he's very formidable, and grossly under appreciated. 櫻井 敦司 / Buck-Tick, solo : After all these years his voice still sounds amazing and beautiful. I never get tired of listening to him and he has a way of making his voice hard and aggressive without ever having to add grit or scream. It's just wonderful and I hope he never stops. Ever. Honorable mentions: Hizumi / D'espairsRay, Yo-shiT (弥斗) / xTRiPx, CHISA / DIV, トラ / STEREO.C.K (ex. Sel'm)

You're really comparing David and Goliath here. DELUHI came in with a pretty dedicated fanbase from the start with Leda coming over from GALNERYUS, so they had a lot of attention on them from day one. GALEYD had to kind of start from scratch, and had an, as previously mentioned, shorter career that didn't come to pass until DELUHI was already inactive. So while I agree they were different in a lot of ways, they still kind of filled the same space for a lot of people, and thusly those people will remember it as DELUHI doing it for them first. That's not really anyone's fault, but unfortunately that's the reality of it. I think both bands were great, but I lean on the thrash-y metalcore style a lot more than power metal so DELUHI wins for me.

This is so saddening. I only have a couple of their CDs, but it's never good to hear about someone dying so young. With all the recent happenings, I'm not shocked about the suicide rumors. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that his last days were happier than that, though.

Hello! I used to be a member of the old board under the name xPANiCx. But dropped off the grid for a while and just realized the board had even moved.
