  3. Looks like you don't even like your own library enough to listen to it. 7k plays in 2 years... Why do you even bother having an account? http://www.last.fm/user/digital_bounce

Recently I bought 4 concert tickets for a band on tour I wanted to see playing over 3000 miles away (I live in Florida, and the concert tickets were 3 for California and 1 for Vancouver, Canada). I booked flights and hotels and everything. And I just learned that they will not be joining the tour until after those dates (they waited 2 months after the tour announcement to mention this?). I just wasted over $1000 on bands I don't give a rat's ass about seeing. I don't even have words for what I am feeling right now.

When you realize you read along to most of these lyrics and still have no idea what he's on about... lol.

  10. No, I agree with you. Not everyone is 100% of the characteristics of their signs so there are always exceptions. And other factors of peoples' charts effect what traits can be stronger or weaker or completely repressed in some cases as well. Case in point, I am not a typical gemini in a lot of the aspects you mentioned, but again I have other factors that effect those traits so... But I do hear about these problems all the time because people expect all geminis to be the same.

  14. Vidoll. There just really isn't any Vidoll material I genuinely dislike. And I am extremely happy I got the chance to see them live. They were amazing, so maybe that helps with a slight bias.... Where as Phantamsagoria only had a couple of songs I ever bothered to keep in my library. I never hated them by any means, but they just never held my interest. And considering I had a close friend who was a Kisaki worshipper, I was exposed to everything they had so I knew exactly what I was missing out on.

  16. Yeah, sorry if I helped press us further OT. But the topic of parents who's signs make them toxic to us is a relevant topic! Geminis are hard to handle for most people, so I can understand some frustration there as well.

I have seriously contemplated just that many times. lol.
  18. Sure, tho I can tell you Sludge can be over a ton of different styles of metal (lots of bands include sludge breaks ect.) and since downtempo isn't considered a genre here, I can't tell you if they are the same thing... possibly not entirely since it's a scene that's evolving in a totally different region. To use a description from a metal website But some of the most popular sludge bands are EYEHATEGOD, Down/Superjoint Ritual, and one of my fav (unfortunately defunct) bands Acid Bath. Superjoint is more on the hardcore side. Acid Bath has a good mix of tempo. Eyehategod and Down are really slow but not that heavy (imo). So there is a bit of a vacancy in the slow (downtempo) and brutal side of sludge in my library, but maybe this list can help you if you're looking for more than my limited knowledge.

  20. Oooooooooooooh. I see what I did. I just mashed your entire statement together. OTL Sorry! Right so now that I fully understand what you meant. Yes, I never hear downtempo/Sludge stuff coming out of Japan much, but I have a feeling it's around, it's just not on youtube. As for stuff like Overlooker... There is Cyanide Christ or Dyingrace (though production is not near as good and I don't think either band is still together atm), but it's slim pickings for things that downtuned deathcore and still kinda sludg-y that I'm able to come up with. It seems like a lot of your bands here are Russian. Must be a good scene there for this kind of stuff? Personally, I came up around a lot of death metal but it's not really high on my list of favorite genres, I much prefer hardcore, post hardcore, metalcore stuff.
  21. That sounds very frustrating, indeed! My parents also have "never wrong" syndrome. But they just get angry and tell me to shut up, because telling them they are wrong is being ~disrespectful~. I don't know how old you are, but hopefully you are able to move away soon and not have to deal with your mother's lies too often. I know sometimes having to live in the same residence makes it worse, at least it did for me.

I love mosh pits. But I'm not big enough or strong enough to hang with most of the guys here. Our pits can be very violent (it's common to see 2-3 people leave with bloody faces through out the night) so I hang right at the outside to help pick people up with they fall or push people back in when they spin out of control. Japanese bands coming here don't usually have mosh pits. Only maybe Crossfaith (because their music is more western influenced) have had a nice sized pit so far for me. Dir en grey here is all female crowd usually who don't pit much, or it's very mild. But I hear in other cities they have crazy pits so maybe it's just my town is not too into them like other places. But most of my Japanese concert experience has been at anime conventions and no one ever pits at those things.
