This time through was rather bland, sorry guys.

downtempo, and 'groovy' brutal deathcore
Wouldn't uptempo just be death metal? I thought the downtempo/breakdowns is the difference between death metal and deathcore? But if I were to guess I assume you mean like Break Your Fist? Or Arise in Stability, Each of the Days, bilo'u, NOTIIBELIKESOMEONE?

Ew, Lana Del Ray and Sky Ferreira. At least you're consistent with your taste in pop singers who sound like they came back from a 3 day bender, then swallowed the entire bottle of xanax before they recorded their albums.

Nuuuuuuu. I became active because of you, and now you've left me. *sigh*

I used to be obsessed with this song years ago and I randomly had a ridiculous urge to hear it again. It was driving me crazy because I couldn't for the life of me remember who sang it. I was just drawing a huge blank on the band name and finally metalcorebot on twitter mentioned a different song today and it was THAT'S THEM. YES. Ah, nostalgia.

I agree with some of the prior comments in that not all vocalists are singers but all singers are vocalists. Meaning, "vocals" entail multiple vocal styles like screaming, yodeling, whistle register, singing, ect. "Singing" is a more specific and rigid term. So if you are calling someone a talented vocalist it is appropriate for all styles, but a talented singer would only be used by someone who sings in the general sense of the word. ((Even with all of that said, I've been known to say "singer" when I mean "vocalist" quite a lot due to laziness and general acceptance of the word "singer" also being used as a placeholder for "front-man" and other like terms.))
And I don't think one is any less prestigious than the other, the only way I pass judgement is if the performer is skilled or unskilled at their chosen vocal style.

I got some older Cure. Vols 21, 26, 31, 32, 37, 41, 45, 47, 51, & 56.
None of them have posters, though. Those got lost in my last move, unfortunately.

AMEN!
That song is so bad that the Weird Al parody isn't even enjoyable to listen to.
It's everywhere and I want to just kill it with fire. Thank goodness it's not just me. ♥

youtube (since they been out for years)
That doesn't make any difference with the amount of English to Japanese language for each band, though.

Someone in the thread just commented they haven't seen it yet, do you mind using a spoiler tag?
-
I heard them for the first time the other day at a concert and I didn't want their set to end, they were amazing.
So I've been listening to them on yt pretty much all day. -
Just want to say, even though the hands have turned in favor of the GazettE (as predicted by many) I respect and appreciate everyone's opinions and posts here.
If you chose Nightmare, what would the GazettE really have to do to wow you in to enjoying them a bit more.
If you chose the GazettE, what would you hope to hear from Nightmare?
You all rock. *___*
\m/ don't do drugs, stay in school.
As far as Nightmare getting my attention... I'm not sure. Maybe something really unlike them? I did like some of Sendai Kamotsu, and probably would prefer more of that project than Nightmare. I guess because it kind of takes you somewhere else and it's really their own thing. When they're doing the Nightmare thing, it kind of sounds like an amalgamation of things I've already heard before, and done better by others. Which is a problem I have with a ton of other vk bands (Alice Nine, Royz, Kiryu, ect)

Meeting MUCC and Crossfaith were pretty epic moments. Nothing really special happened, just got to hug them and tell them how much I appreciate them. I was in the front row for the Kyutai DVD and you can spot me a few times. I ended up in GEEKS music video for a split second too, so that was pretty cool as well.

I'd join it. Sounds like fun, I don't know if I was a member yet whenever the last one was.

wow. I haven't been many places to be honest. I've been only to the following:
I also feel like being on the west coast makes it sound like less because you can road trip the west coast top to bottom and only visit 3 states, but if you do that on the east coast you visit like 20. >_>;;;

Zodiac signs/Astrology (you know what I mean)
in General Discussion
Posted
Gemini here. Probably the most hated sign in the zodiac. We either lied, cheated, or flaked on you like 100 times. I know. I know. Sorry. We grow out of it, usually. I'm on the cusp though and I think I have more Cancer traits than Gemini. Aries moon also keeps me more grounded, I think...
The rundown:
Sun: Gemini
Moon: Aries
Rising: Capricorn
Chinese Zodiac Sign: Dog (Yang and Water element)
Houses:
