I mentioned that (maybe the second or third) track from their recent album started so much like a Miyavi riff, this single confirms Miyavi influences. Did Yuusei really have to play the guitar with a sword? I really like this song, it's weird but in a good way. The guitars were produced rather oddly, never before heard from THE KIDDIE, but I'm digging it, plus the electric/acoustic combo. The instruments are really weak in the sense that there are hardly any happening but still not bad. The guitar solo blew me away. The ending is pretty weird though, I really hope it doesnt just fade out that quickly.

Regarding Sai's comment as towards the hate towards Alpha, I don't dislike Alpha, there' nothing wrong with it. It's just that all the other albums are a bit better to my ears. Like almost all of A9's albums, the album made the singles just a little bit more appealing to me. Maybe eventually i'll be able to just look at this as a playlist and not as a "new album"

I'm not gonna lie, Alice Nine does the electronic style very well. The MIDI style break in SHINING was new but the way it's incorporated into SEVEN and then massive influence in KID. I prefer having the original Alice Nine who was all instruments and orchestral sounds and all that with some ambient sounds every now and then, but I would not mind Alice Nine delving into some electronic sounds so long as they learn to keep it under control

I personally thought the album was unfulfilling. Like Seimeisen said, the album seems to end before you know it. I was barely getting into the new songs when I realized Prelude was already playing (Why is prelude at the end? Doesn't Alice Nine know Preludes go at the beginning?) All the new songs were pretty good, especially KID having a sense like the band has been listening to some Crossfaith recently, but it just wasn't enough. Personally, this is better than Alpha and that other one (Zekkeishoku?) because the new songs were good as were the pre-released singles. GEMINI is stil #1, with 9 right behind it and then VANDALIZE I think Alice Nine would have done better had they made this a mini-album with all of the new songs, but they haven't released a mini since 2005

Judging from the chorus, either that breakdown needed to have more than a unison riff and those drums going on or they should have a sprinting guitar solo in there. The song is pretty good but it could have done with softening those drums a bit. I'm scared of how they're going to do for my ears when I listen to this with headphones on

IMO there's nothing wrong with this song really... Are the riffs very uninspiring? Sure. But the song ended up being pretty fun. It does remind me a lot like BORN but it seems they're doing it better than BORN is.

The bass intro has a GazettE vein to it and that isolated riff at 0:27 sounds like the final seconds for another VK song that I can't recall at this moment And I'm having a WTF moment with the delayed guitar melody at the start of "Koe..." reminding me of Lc5's LOVELESS intro
