This is sad to hear, I was finally getting really into their VANITAS album. I know this isn't too relevant with the topic but why is there always that one person on a "band disbanding" topic that always has to say "Hopefully they just reform as..." I mean, one can dream and all but the chances of that happening are 1 in a million. Those comments have been irking me lately.

I'm not even going to talk about the other songs because they can just release the one following song and I would have called this their best release yet: I can't even comprehend how Eyes of Insanity can exist on this planet! Those guitar riffs are blowing me away, the vocals are simply great to me, and the drums are at speed with the song's tempo and it pumps me the hell up!! Let's get to the main attraction of every GALEYD song, Meku. That guitar solo is nothing short of godly, absolutely unreal. I can't even get past the rest of the song yet because I'm still replaying the solo so much! If I was Meku, I'd say this is a "f*** you" to the world's guitarists. I do want to mention one thing about MESSIAH, that opening riff going on behind the tapping, it reminds me so much of ALSDEAD's newest song, Puzzle. Not saying it's a copy or anything of the sort, they are totally different but that one riff with the double bass backing it up is absolutely badass. Yeah, this mini is basically perfect like all their other releases. If you think this is boring, unoriginal, lame, uninteresting, anything of the sort, may god help you.

I see 7 new songs on that setlist that haven't been released. Some are on the new mini album but I want to hear that "guitar solo~ Messiah"

Hell to the yeah!

Thrilled for that 3rd bonus track! This album's tracklist sounds promising

All right, I didn't think it was possible to love an album by just listening to the first 3-4 songs but I was proven this year by The GazettE (DIVISION), UVERworld(THE ONE), and D.I.D(Providentia.). Getting off that tangent, this album has captured me already and I am barely on the 6th song, 悲しみのDERRINGER. Let me just say that 悲しみのDERRINGER and ARCADIA are portraying absolutely what is the most amazing sound out of THE KIDDIE so far. ARCADIA has an amazing instrumentation and it makes me go crazy when I listen to it, plus Yusa's vocals are so amazing here. In 悲しみのDERRINGER, They have THE best intro I have ever heard from THE KIDDIE. Yuusei's guitar has a resemblance of sorts to MIYAVI's guitar slapping. There's a lot of electronic sounds in this, especially with the breakdown. Simply put, 2nd favorite THE KIDDIE song now. I'm writing this as I finish the album, 溺れたルージュ has a very jazzy intro. It resembles a popular band I know in the V-kei scene from a few years back but I can't put a name to the song. This is another great song, not a favorite though. シュプレヒコール starts off strong and fast, has a chorus that resembles THE KIDDIE but maintaining that slightly heavy sound they started us off with. The song's guitar verses between the chorus and the B-メロ is so badass! Add this song to my favorites as well. Before VANITY starts, songs with the name VANITY have been the name of many songs that I have always loved, they always end up great to me because they end up being so badass. Sick bass intro there, starting off strong just like シュプレヒコール, very fast paced this one. Chorus is really good, instrumentation right after that however is off the charts amazing! Only one thing to change would be that I would have loved for the song to end with a last guitar verse rather than just stop. I stopped on VANITY, listened to the rest, loved the whole album! This is exactly what I want from them without a doubt!! Don't stop, THE KIDDIE, don't stop! 100/10 Sorry for the long review, I know most won't want to read all of it xD

Yeah, it's really good! I have 3 new favorites from on there and the single tracks are better on here

I never say this but, leftover album material? Anyways, I'm excited!

Noooooowww I am seriously worried about their speedy releases. They announced their recent single right after there High Collar mini came out and now they announce an ALBUM 4 days after the release of their single. Hopefully this is a good album though. I haven't been able to listen to most of the songs between MUSIC NIPPON and 生にしがみつく. Either way, I hope this release is good

Nihilism was from their Para:noir era

Edit: I finally got to give the 40 minute version a listen and it is perfect Man, ACE really outdid themselves because this claim the best single of the decade. The transitions between the elements is so smooth that there are hardly any moments that you feel it could be changed. The moods set by the elements have you coming in strong with Earth and then calming down for Water, back to a strong sound with Fire, and then sets you in with Wind. The arrangements of these elements would not be better in any other way. When I listened to the digital version, Water was my favorite and Wind was my least favorite. It still hasn't changed but now all the songs have an even bigger impact what with the full intros. All the orchestral pieces layered throughout the song just make this song an even more perfect song. The Spanish guitars during the intro for Wind, it really makes their goal of "World music domination" seem like they will be there in no time. Some of my favorite sections are like the section right after the guitar solo in Water when you have the flute playing. All I can think of are those Legend of Zelda game and movies that I've seen that seem to take place back in the past but in a fantasy world, I love it. I simply have nothing to say to those saying that this song is boring or too long because I refuse to dignify them with a response. There's only one thing that I would change, and that would be to remove the intro narration, it's so cheesy and I just want to get to the good part but I do love the way it transitions from the narration to the music. But, I get it, ACE wanted this song to have an overlying theme, the elements, nature if you will, and it was made to be like a story (still want to read the lyrics) so it's natural that they made a narration.

Will they ever stop? This is great news! Providentia blew me away

Hell yeah, sucks that it's 4 months away but this is such great news!! I really hope that the instrumental isn't an SE but an actual instrumental, a challenger to GALEYD's instrumentals xD

I'm just going to give a summary review. This mini turned out to be a really great release by them. Their last 2 singles were "eh" I can only remember one song from them and that's Solitude from Danzai no Gunner. This mini brought out exactly the feelings I had when I fell in love with D. The title track is really something, brings out this fairytale atmosphere but the background music and the guitar's voices gives an ominous feeling that makes it dark (As portrayed by the PV). Canis Lupus 三角お屋根と哀れな小熊, and Like a Black Cat were their more powerful songs (Doesn't mean better, just means they gave more "OOMF" xD), 春の宴 is not one of my favorite ballads (Solitude is ), but it still is a pretty good ballad, the guitar solo is dreamy, and that ending is something that I could listen to all night long. 象と人と蟻と... is a pretty short song that I wish would be longer because that had an awesome pace that I absolutely loved. The first minute was a bit varied and I don't got stuck to it too much but after the chorus that fast singing got me all happy and dancing xD Onto the favorite: 知られざる子供達 is absolutely, hands-down, my favorite off of this mini. Such a calm opening followed by Asagi's luscious vocals. It follows like all D songs and then comes the chorus that just makes me feel so warm and is amazing. The ending could not be better with that guitar melody~ All in all, this was a hell of a great release after those 2 singles. I have to honestly give this mini a 10/10. Hopefully I'm not the only one to think this mini was exceptional enough to get a 10.

LOVE IT!! Can't wait~

I don't know...It sounds reasonable. But up until the age of 13 I only like stuff like The Black Eyed Peas and those pop songs from the early 2000's. But once I turned 14 I started listening to rock (j-rock specifically), and once 2010 came along, I got into V-kei and then got into the heavy genres. As a guitarist, I can say that I most likely won't change my tastes once I'm like 26. My love for rock is due to the compositions and the guitar sounds that stimulate me and I know that I won't ever grow tired of that. Maybe i'll branch out to other rock genres but I know I won't stop listening to bands like say, Alice Nine or The GazettE

Hell yeah, I'm actually listening to EMILY right now hoping for something new!

Fantastic news!

Please let there be ballads like Nagasumi no Sora from their Kakera album and stuff like Zouai Antithesis and Naraku

This is water? I am so scared for fire! That is going to be one legendary thing to listen to!! This was so beautiful and that support guitarist is so damn good~ I am so psyched, officially preordering this single!

Ooh, a good one. While I did believe that DEATHGAZE and Lynch. did sound the same, and it was more greatly proved to me after DEATHGAZE's singles prior to their recent album. But, DEATHGAZE bores me. Their recent album, I could swear that every song sounded the same to me and I, to this day, can't distinguish which song is playing. Lynch. however, stimulates me. They have had so many good songs, I always get really into the music when I hear it, and their recent single, LIGHTNING, was really amazing. Lynch.>DEATHGAZE Score: 1-0

Hell yeah!!! Is it just me or do they announce their new releases until like almost the end? Most bands announce it as they are still making their tracklist and recording but it feels like they announce when they are almost done. Less than a month to go, so excited. Loved THE OVER!!

F***ing epic masterpiece this will be!!! If I got this right, the first part was earth, then wind, then fire(my favorite part of the preview around the 2:30 mark) and then water. Oh man I love this. I feel like it's like Alice Nine's GEMINI. The song was supposed to be 16 minutes long but then it was cut down to 12 minutes and divided into 2 songs each with a variation in the theme. Except, in this case, ELEMENTA ALCHEMICA is going to be doing that throughout 40 minutes all in one song. Anxious to see how great this will be and if it will be competition with GALEYD's I'll Be There For You for "Best song of the Millennium" for me.

VANITY!! I have yet to listen to a song with that name that I haven't fallen in love with. ViViD, Dir en Grey(Yes I know its VANITAS and they both have different meanings but it's close enough). So excited for this album!
