I love it, but yeah, boomslang should not be on here.

Yeah, clearly almost no one here read the disbandment notice and the messages from the band members. The reason for disbandment was due to Aggy having the "musical difference" syndrome, and the rest of the band not feeling like DELUHI could be DELUHI without the 4 members together. Aggy however failed on his own. I'm liking the previews to this more than the first album, I know many people didn't like Sujk's first solo album, but by the look of this, I really thing that the 3 should just form a new band together. They just basically made a new album together, LEDA is done with UNDIVIDE, and I know Juri is doing something end of Summer or sometime around there so they are all free to commit to each other here.

This will probably be the best I have heard from them in a while. I'm not saying the rest was bad, it's just that good to me. Although comparing new stuff to Sabbath and Karma is a bit unfair because it's almost impossible to top those

Been a non-stop fan since '09. They have never faltered with me, except for when Shou decided to compose Niji no Yuki but then the band made up for it by making NEMESIS These 3 singles have brought Alice Nine to the top band on my list of bands.

I agree with Candy Worhol, I need a part 2 of SAMURAI SESSIONS. Excited for this though, everything has been really good from MIYAVI

I immediately thought of Stargazer... Based on the progression of quality from Daybreak -> SHADOWPLAY, I am going to hope that this one will surpass SHADOWPLAY but right now that looks damn near impossible

I thought this forum was so that we can review the releases made by the artists, not review the comments left behind by others? I'm not going to lie, I've only heard at least half of these songs before. I got into Japanese music back in 2010. Therefore, half of these songs are basically new songs to me. I can't exactly say whether they completely destroyed for me the original song with the new remake, I honestly have no problem with any of the songs here. The only thing that really brings me back to DSS is the guitars' effects, but I do feel like Unraveling might be a DSS leftover, even though it's still a good song and I loved DSS. Macabre is a freaking awesome song that I thoroughly enjoyed throughout it's entirety. I've always loved the unplugged versions of songs, so I was very pleased to find out that they did not have a certain "plain" quality to them where I would end up being bored. While I would have preferred a new CD with NEW material, I rather enjoy the remakes here and I am quite satisfied with this for now.

^ My question is why you had to say things with that stereotypical asian talk "verusaruzo?" I don't know if maybe most of you subconsciously want ZIN to sound like Kamijo, but, I heard like 10% similarity to Kamijo's voice...and that was only with 3 seconds of hearing his voice in that preview. Frankly, I'm excited for this, I want some more Versailles stuff, I just hope HIZAKI lets Teru compose more hahaha

No offense to the other moderators but you're one of my favorite moderators! I will miss you

So basically, his first album was crap. He then cancelled the release of another album, released this, revealing a crappy, copy album? It's to be expected. He came in to the scene trying to be HIZAKI minus the skills. Well on to my thoughts on the album. Everything mentioned above i have to agree with. 2013 -Beginning of the end- was very similar to INFUSE INTO, it was noticeable to me right away. I immediately deleted the album off of my iPod and computer, with the harsh mindset to give a furry crack of a rat's behind about anything relating to YOHIO from now on. He has the honors of being the first person to release the most disappointing release of 2013...

"Song selection of the Single and Album is finally finished. Is a completely different work however passes through DIVISION and TOXIC. Such as a projection of ourselves now" Ruki via twitter (2 days ago) I take it as it's going to be a new sound, or maybe an old sound but it will still incorporate the electronic sounds from both albums

Yeah, umm, Alice Nine is releasing the best stuff of the year so far. I loved SHADOWPLAY, the PV amplified that hundred-fold. Saga playing the piano, the dark aura to it, Hiroto's new V-guitar. Honestly that duet solo with Tora and Hiroto is the best I have seen since BLUE FLAME.
-
Yeah, not alone. Backing you up with that statement 100%. If this is a DSS leftover as some are stating, I welcome it with open arms. I am really excited about this release but that teaser does nothing but do what the title suggests: "Tease me" Release date is almost upon us so I am preparing my body for some awesome DeG

<---Because apparently I can't give a rating of 5 stars. This band is really on a one way trip to taking over my music soul (I'm not black) All right, I don't really want to get that into reviewing this single, nor do I want to do a track by track review like I usually do. To sum it up, (ACE) simply have so much creativity and bring so much to the table that it is impossible to not see them as the "new V-kei phenomenon" as the promo vid for ELEMENTA ALCHEMICA said. When the preview was released, I was watching a crap quality one on YouTube from my phone. What I gathered from it was that it was going to be (ACE), but with their cheesy side. I feared for a snow version of Shangri-la. My expectations were not only proven wrong, but they were slapped continuously, dropped to the floor and stopped on ferocio.... you get my point. The instruments are just majestic as always, Rookie's violin is uplifting to my soul, and Nimo's voice has something that makes him belong to (ACE) and the sound they create. There has been one thing that I have absolutely loved about (ACE) recently. I do wish Mucho Gracias was still in the band, but ever since he left, the guitar in their songs have has a raw quality to them that I love. You can hear it in the Water version of ELEMENTA, and you can hear it in the solo of "Phantom." Is it just me or is that sound just perfect for this band? I can't imagine a fully distorted guitar in there like one you would hear from other rock bands. SAKURA is simply a very wonderful remake of their original. I, myself, have a way of listening to remakes. When I find out a band is doing a remake, I treat that remake as a new song entirely. That's how I can distinguish how much of a difference is in the new compared to the old (I did the same with Alice Nine and their b-side track to BLUE FLAME, G3. The new song showcased so much new potential and maturity that I could not believe it was a remake). Clearly their production on the new song is a lot better than the old SAKURA. The one thing I love, which Zess had the honors of stating, is how both new songs flow together. Actually, all songs flows together. Listen to the piano arrangement of SAKURA and then have Phantom of the snow come after it and the piano sounds like it takes a small break and starts again. Everything about the remakes, Zess and ShanethVarosa had beautifully states already. Here's why this single is now tied between Alice Nine's Daybreak for Best Single of 2013....Actually, this single and Alice Nine's SHADOWPLAY. My favorite instrument, guitar, my next two favorites would be both the piano and violin. This band has masterfully created a beautiful song(s) with these 3 instruments. Its an homage to my tastes, and I love them for this.

God... not spoiling it sounds like a good idea... too late. There's double bass some sprinting guitars that fit a melodic heavy song even though it's not really a heavy song. More like a dark ballad-ish.

Well...I'm sold, You can't beat Alice Nine. Preview of SHADOWPLAY and Scarlet Full SHADOWPLAY from BUZZ ROCK RADIO 1) Shou has outdone himself compared to Niji no Yuki 2) The instrumental for SHADOWPLAY is going to be so awesome 3) FUCKING BEASTS!! 4) Scarlet, like Himitsu, will be the star of the single.

I am all for the idea of a new band with HIZAKI and Teru, Masashi(was that the bassist's name?) as well. Looking forward to hearing this announcement!

It doesn't hurt to dream xD

According to Shou, SHADOWPLAY is supposed to have a cool, aggressive tone to it so I can't wait for a preview. Here are some recent tweets by Saga and Shou Saga: Today, we'll record two parts for drums, one for guitar, and sandwiched in between that we'll record bass for two songs. Of course I'll be able to finish all cool and smooth-like. But it's always like that. Once you guys hear, all you fans will fall in love with me! Shou: Good luck with recording!! Gonna work on writing another song. Saga: (In reference to a song most likely on the 3rd single) This song may have a sort of avant-garde feel. It's got quite a musical, pop-style sound to it. Yeah, this is new for us. Can't make this shit by yourself, lol.
-
Does anyone know the background track that is played for the Official trailer of the single? It's not Blah blah blah and I thought it would be Same Sky but it's not apparently.
-
Song preview? You just know this is going to be good without a song preview

For one new song in a span of almost a year, this better be a damn good song! I want them back to 2009-2010 era, or, basically, back to their indie sound. Yume was the only good major single
