I have no idea, but having spent the last few days on Twitter I am about 89% sure it is cake.

Some people describe me as weird but most people only see the shy side of me and think of me as a very average, reserved person. IDK, I always find that people who describe themselves as weird are some of the most absolute boring-ass normie mfers I've ever met ("OMG I ate this entire large pizza by myself, I'm like so weird!" Like no, eating food is not a personality trait. I dunno what to tell you but you're just fat, Becky) so I like to think of myself as a normal, not weird person lest I let someone down with my more demure traits.
 
Throughout my life I've experienced being the well-behaved model student everyone respects, the outcast who got bullied a lot, and a non-existent entity so I'm not really sure if I'm 100% "unusual" or not. I've been a good normie, I've been bad weirdo, and I've been nothing. Maybe that's the unusual aspect of it 

I recall having a short discussion about blood types with my Kanji teacher once when I was studying abroad and I wrote down notes on how she described each blood type.
 
A - intelligent
B - かわっている (weird, not right in the head)
AB - crazy, usually artists
O - open and outgoing
 
I know there's more to it but I thought these brief descriptions were interesting and funny. I'm B-type btw, not sure about + or - though, and I originate from Southeast Asia. I'm not sure how I feel about being called "かわっている" but I AM pretty awkward lol.

Made sure to search MH and I’m shocked that a VK forum hasn’t talked about one of Japan’s favourite personality codifiers: Blood Types. If you haven’t heard of blood type theory, you can quickly scan the Wiki or read an article but basically it’s the belief that one’s personality is partially influenced by the type of blood that runs in your veins. It’s like astrology in the sense that it’s a rough outline for what you’re like as a person (also it’s not scientifically proven).
 
I’m a B-type! B+ to be precise. I found out in my senior year biology class when we took samples of our blood to find out our blood-types in order to learn more about them. I was the only B in the whole room Everyone else was either O or A.
 
B-types are said to be creative, passionate, flexible and curious. Our downsides are that we’re said to be selfish, uncooperative and irresponsible. I think this sort of fits me? I can be quite passionate, expressive and strong-willed. I get called based all the time, hehe. Plus flexible, yes, I am definitely not the anal A-type at all. I’m so far from being a perfectionist, which is what A-types are mainly categorised as. The issue is that B-types are described as outgoing and I’m really shy around strangers and generally reserved with most people. Also, no one’s ever called me selfish or anything like that, my parents included (I’ve been criticised for other things). Especially irresponsible? People have looked up to me as a shining example of conscientiousness and studiousness… 
 
Anyway, there seems to be a decent amount of B-type guys in the VK scene, so if it means that I’ve got that same punky spirit in me then I’m happy to be a B-type! Some of my favourite B-type bandomen are Gokimi (Tokyo Heroes, Guru Guru Eigakan), Yoshiyuki Shimizu (Shinjuku Gewalt, Cosmo-Shiki), and Kenjirou Murai (Cali Gari).
 
Final tidbit: did you know that your race impacts what kind of blood type you’re likely to have? Where I originate from (Central Asia), B-type is the majority blood type. For white people, there are many O-types. In Japan, A-type is the most common.

This is the second of their four-single campaign, the first of which (Koyoi Mirai No Tameni Utaou) is out already. I've got continued high hopes for this band, though the last single was only mediocre for me.

I had a bit of a disappointing product haul this year.
 
Thought I'd try some new stuff, so I bought the following:
 
Dear, Klairs  Vitamin E Mask - Expensive for what it is. The tiniest pot ever. Can't really comment on effectiveness, but you can either mix it with other lotions/creams or apply directly to the face. Went with the latter, but I'll just aim for moisturisers that already come with vitamin E in the future.
 
Etude House  Soon Jung pH 5.5 Relief Toner - This toner just makes my face feel gross after. You're supposed to apply it and leave it on your face like some kind of lotion and I just feel sticky until washing it off and it can irritate my skin. I just use it as a normal toner (cleansing with a cotton pad) and then wash it off my face . I'm going right back to Secret Key Tea Tree Refresh Calming Toner once this one is finished.
 
 Etude House Moistfull Collagen Essence  - Amazing reviews, but I wasn't amazed by it. What put me off the most is the fragrance, I've never used a 'perfumed' moisturiser before, and it's not an unpleasant smell, I just don't wan't perfume on my face lol Depending on the day, my skin definitely feels irritated by it. Good points are that the bottle is really nice and it has a pump which works great.
 
Kao Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Gel SPF 50+ PA++++ 2019 Edition - King amongst sun lotions. Didn't clog my pores, didn't make me greasy, no streaking. Tried and tested it under Brazilian summer conditions. 
 
The Ordinary 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil - Two colleagues with similar combination/sensitive skin to mine recommended this product. I've been using it at night and seems to be good so far. It's pricey, but I can see it lasting for a really long time  
 
 
 
Also, I started following the curly hair care routine. I've been experimenting for a couple of months now and still have a lot to figure out but one thing I know for sure is that I've been horrible to my curls for the past...well, I dunno, most of my existence lol My hair and curls are so much happier now, all I need is a haircut and I'll be in the healthiest/happiest place I've been with my hair. Products I've been using:

Garnier Ultimate Blends Hair Food Coconut Oil 3-in-1 Frizzy Hair Mask Treatment - It's everything-free, smells good and has so many uses. Love it.
 
Cantu Shea Butter for Natural Hair Moisturizing Twist & Lock Gel - My hair isn't super thick, so just a little goes a long way. It smells good too. I've been experimenting with time of application. e.g just out of the shower = little texture, looser curls, after a bit of drying = more crunch and definition
 
Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex 10-in-1 Renewal System Shampoo -  I've tried a trillion shampoos, so-called organic ones, healthy ones,etc. Heck, even horse shampoo. This is the best one. It's super 'powerful', my hair/scalp never felt cleaner, it smells great and leaves everything super soft. Since it's so powerful I use once or twice (no more) a week and only wash with conditioner in between. Also experimenting with frequency of washing.
 

just found out that my cousin got infected. i thought things were getting better but now things feel a bit scary again (been sorta out of the loop so i don't know how bad things are elsewhere). i'll be honest, she's kind of the party goer type so it didn't surprise me that she was the first one to get infected in her family. it does worry me though because her dad has diabetes and is already quite vulnerable....
 
just because things are opening up again doesn't mean you can party like the way things were before..

god i wish i could feel like any degree of optimism or positivity that wasn't at least half-faked again cuz it feels like it's been ages. can someone just drop the nukes already?

Etsuo Nagura (in charge of sampling/electronics) of the experimental/noise/extreme metal band Endon has passed away on April 26. He was 34 years old. His brother, the vocalist Taichi confirmed the sad news on his Twitter:

Almost done with Alundra now. In what I -think- should be the final dungeon of the game.. Man, this one really doesn't shy away from just absolutely punching the player in the gut from time to time.. Real good game though, probably one of the best Zelda-likes out there. My only gripe is that some of the enemies feel a bit TOO damage sponge-y for their own good but other than that I'm having a good time, would def. rec

Even after all these years, I still think Fatal Frame is one of the scariest games of all time. Every time my controller starts vibrating I dread seeing a freaking ghost.

i didn't think our second game project would get worse but it did.......this guy doesn't know what he's doing at all and he's adding stuff that we never asked for or mentioned about. if this was my game pitch i would be screaming right now. (it's someone else's in the team, not his) our main programmer probably feels frustrated too, there are errors every time we open up the project with his updates. files are now corrupted and we may have to attempt a recovery, which i'm not sure how well that'll go....

yup! i got it this morning! everyone gets it if they filed their taxes for 2019. i heard that children get $500 or something? which seems a lot for a kid, but it most likely went to the parents' account.
