Plus they are timeless classics, so people are already aware they would be on people's top 5.

compiling a vk playlist for a friend for when i visit but so many to choose from.......she's not very familiar with vk except for some bands that were big in mid 00s so i have no idea what she likes lol. don't think she listens to a whole lot of heavy music either for that matter so hopefully there will be something that she likes.

I've fallen out of the habit of watching PVs, but decided to check out xaa-xaa's latest and it really held my attention. Now I've been on a MV/PV binge.

I loved the color and style of this MV as well as the song. I don't know how xaa-xaa does it every time. Kazuki is really expressive (well, at least when it comes to showing despair lol)

I wanted to share my skincare routine since I've been kinda into that as of last year and this seems like the place to post it. First of all, I got into skincare after my visit in Japan last year when I tried a few products that basically changed my view on skincare. I never believed in skincare until after trying those products, which actually showed results. Since then I've been trying many different products, including delving into Korean skincare, but I later found out that I started breaking out to almost everything so I think I kinda messed up my skin.....But anyway, here's some of the stuff I use. I've been minimizing my routine for a while now. I have oily/dry/sensitive skin btw.
 
-in the morning I just wash my face with plain water
-tone my face with Secret Key Tea Tree Refresh Calming Toner
-moisturize my face with Chifure Light Milky Lotion
-also recently got SoonJung 10-Free Moist Emulsion which works just as well as a lightweight moisturizer
-i then use a sunscreen called Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Whitening Cream for when i go out, however it leaves a white cast so i'm probably gonna switch over to something else
 
-at night i use a Kose Softymo Deep Treatment Oil to remove makeup (which is basically just eyeliner) and dirt
-wash it off with Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser
-tone and moisturize my face with the products i listed above
-occasionally i use Rosette Cleansing Paste Acne Clear for when my acne gets bad, i avoid using it daily cuz it dries my face and breaks me out but it works really good at minimizing those annoying red bumps i get sometimes
 
So that's basically my skincare that has been working well for me lately. I'd still like to find a cleanser that does more than hydrate my face and yet doesn't break me out from all the stripping. Or just something gentle that helps with hyperpigmentation/acne scars/pores.
 
As far as fashion goes the colors I mainly wear are black and darker shades of red like maroon. I have some white, grey, and dull blue tops in my wardrobe as well. Otherwise that's basically it. I most likely will not wear any other color unless it's a comfy t-shirt, but I still would not wear anything that's mostly bright. I didn't really care for shoes before but I have about 5 pairs now, all of which are black. One of them is just mainly slippers tho. I wear are few accessories, always have a pair of earrings on and a thick plain silver ring on my right index finger. Occasionally I wear necklaces and bracelets rarely since I'm always in long sleeves.
 
The only makeup I put on is a thin black eyeliner, basically just on the waterline. And some foundation to cover some redness. I'd like to draw in my eyebrows since they're almost nonexistent but I'm bad at making them look natural. Plus I'm a bit lazy.
 
For my hair I find that Japanese hair products work the best for me. I remember having much softer hair from when I studied abroad in Japan for a year. Anyway, I've been using the Ichikami Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner lately and it makes my hair feel soft all the time. I also use Deuxer 3 wax to add some volume to my hair and then go in with a hairspray to 'kinda' keep it from moving. I still haven't found a hairspray that actually works well. I'd like try out some Japanese hairspray products but they usually aren't available online.
 
Anyway, this post turned out rather long so OOPS, again. Tbh, I never really cared much about my looks until after I dropped out of college and started trying to feel happier about myself. I mean I still did the minimal stuff but never really poured much money into it until then. Guess some of it has to do with actually earning a constant income as well (although i'm currently back in school so *weep*).

wooow, it's been a while since i updated my art thread! earlier this week i did a presentation on my game idea and received some recognition so i'll be working on some cool stuff soon~ the current title for the game is "Her Name Is Dalila", which will be a classic survival horror game with a psychological story. here's what i've got so far.
 
some concept art i did way back in june. this was where it all started.

 
i took the concept art and made a platform game out of it in construct 2 for a class. this was a span of 5 weeks and i only got to design one level because doing all the artwork by hand took a while. the only thing i didn't draw were the bats and collectible gems.

 

 
i'll be starting some floor and map designs so that i can start putting the game into a game engine soon. watch for updates!

yup, fear of failure is a bitch. Getting things that matter to you out there is hard  but JUST DO IT! Go put the pen to paper now, literally just touch it down on the paper. That's all you gotta do  And whenever you get the urge to work on it, don't ignore it. 2 mins is better than nothing. I struggled with this my whole life which sucks because I plan to work as a full time artist someday and I have soo many ideas for really personal projects but I never get started on them due to fear of failure and commitment and thinking 'who cares about this anyway? Does what I have to say really matter?' . My main goal this year was to just create and finish something. Once I started ignoring the urge to create/put these ideas down things started to flow and I have finished my first project of the year (maybe the first project in 5 years actually), it wasn't easy cuz fighting against yourself is a real struggle 😩. You're damn right, I probably should, haha. I've had so many wrist pains, and even back pains, while working on projects for long hours. 😓

One thing you might wanna consider is 10min daily stretches for the wrists and fingers considering your current profession. Better to start now! 

Need an option for 'I try but fail miserably'. xD Luckily I have a job where I'm actively walking 8 hours a day. But when I'm not working I'm rather lazy. I try to do some stretches once in a while but it never lasts very long. Sometimes it depends on my current living situation or where I live. When I live in a bigger city I tend to go on walks more often. I jogged a few times during my last year at my old uni because I lived very near a running/biking trail (and I was also prepping for a 5K run, I've done two so far). My hometown is so small that I've grown rather bored of it, and also I don't wanna be seen by someone I might know when I'm out walking/jogging....but that could be just a dumb excuse.
 
I wanna try more stretches and exercises to target areas or tone my body but there's so much I don't know that I just give up.....
