Huh? Is this "conditional" stuff a new trend in vk? Weird thing. And 12,000 seems fairly high at that. I doubt that there that many people that have even heard from this band before.
  2. Champ213

Ohgod yes, that's the same place. I think it can be rent for weddings and other stuff like that, so prices must be affordable at least.
  3. Champ213

Yeah, we know the story. We talked with him about it and he wrote a rather long post on here a few weeks ago. But this doesn't excuse why he didn't take 3 minutes of his time to fix the old forum when it crashed half a year ago. Or just put up a link/redirect to our new home to help keep the community together. Or why he cut off all contacts from us and ignored all our messages, instead of explaning the situation to us. And it certainly doesn't excuse why he pops out of the nothing again and demand nothing short of getting complete control over the forum again that never was "his" in the first place. And then put up a rival site when we refuse, trying to split apart the community. And then put so damned little effort into it. Now I just wish he would at least give that place a graceful death instead of letting it continue this unworthy zombie-existence. As for Jake, he made some pretty lousy decisions, and he went about them in a very shitty way as well, pissing off a lot of people that worked with him for years. But I wish him good luck with his label and I hope he finds the dedication to stick with it even if things don't go his way quickly enough. Anyway... meh. I don't feel like continuing this. Tainted World is dead, Monochrome Heaven lives. Let's move on from here instead of looking back and gloat.

Lockheart Castle is a place that too many vk bands shoot their PV in.. For example: Psycho le Cemu - Excalibur Psycho Le Cemu - Michi no sora Dio - God Forsaken And god knows how many more.... I just don't watch that many PVs anymore, lol.
  5. Champ213

At least it's not shot in Lockheart Castle.
  6. Champ213

I think I'd rather transfer this to the Toasted Waffles forum.... lol. If somebody really has this, they can still fulfill this.... request.
  7. Champ213

Well, it doesn't matter if they are visual kei or not. You can discuss bands from the USA or France in the Global music forum, including visual bands.
  8. Champ213

If you have to "call out" to your admin like that, that's pretty sad. Especially if said admin just miracolously came back and made huge promises of making amends, and how he wants to have his forum again that allegedly means so much to him. Now imagine we had given Dai back control over this forum. We'd be dead in the water soon. Anyway, nothing more to be said here. We have a new name, a new domain and lots of stuff in the making, no need to look back for us.
  9. Champ213

Because you should be pink and not blue.
  10. Champ213

It depends on what you mean by "publish". If you want to discuss them, we have a global music section where you can discuss all sorts of non-japanese bands. If you want to upload their music, we have a non-japanese section for that as well, however, to avoid legal problems, western music may only be uploaded with consent of the artist, or if they offered the music for free to begin with.
  11. Champ213

Dunno, some of their 1st and 2nd period stuff wasn't all bad, though rather badly produced. But I still enjoy songs like Maria, Hypocrite or Byakuya.
  12. Champ213

Actually, I did. Until around 2005 when things went really downhill. I didn't mind Fu-ki either, though he never was brilliant or anything.
  13. Champ213

Hmyeah, if they were playing nearby I would actually consider seeing them because I kinda liked Madiedour, but Munich would be too far away for a band I only have medium interest in.
  14. Champ213

Lol, the first 15 seconds of the video were cool. And then it went all ultra-generic. It's not the fact that it's a ballad I dislike, there are enough ballads I like, but the fact that you heard it all 232649 times before.
  15. Champ213

The person that doesn't have an iPhone but a simple cell phone that can make phone calls, write text messages, and that's about it.
  16. Champ213

Right, from the first musical. It's just, you know... catchier. XD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlccggyPYiE
  17. Champ213

Lol, I actually like this too, though I prefer the original version of the song.
  18. Champ213

This forum was formerly known as Tainted World, and your join date indicates that you joined at a time when it still carried that name. So that's probably why you don't remember signing up. Anyway, welcome to the renewed Monochrome Heaven, hope you enjoy your time here!
  19. Champ213

What does "withdrawing GPKISM" mean anyway? Didn't the project already exist before Kiwamu even joined? Is he just leaving the project or is he terminating it alltogether?
  20. Champ213

Welcome to MH! Mmm, I almost wrote "Welcome to TW", I need to get my initials straight XD Hope you enjoy your stay. Don't worry. While the userbase is somewhat lopsided in favor of vk, you'll find that many people here enjoy other sorts of music, japanese and non-japanese, as well. We actually pride ourselves with being one of the few places were both fandoms can co-exist relatively peaceful.
  21. Champ213

Well, it does hold some value because presumably most people going there only got interested in them since they magically turned fullblown-vk and released a song on a vk sampler. But the band does does have some releases under their belt (I upped their 2006 album in the DL section recently), live experiences, including overseas (I believe they were studying in Australia), so it's not quiet comparable go Guild (though I don't know much about them.)
  22. Champ213

Orochi have actually been around for years, they toured Australia extensively because those guys used to live there, and they released a - pretty good - album and some singles at that time. People just didn't notice them because they weren't "pretty" enough, and probably - due to the fact that they were based in Australia - not "japanese" enough. Now they are back in Japan, signed with a vk label, are all "prettied" up, including obligatory pink hair, and the larger vk scene notices them for the first time.
  23. Champ213

This seems to be a recurring problem lately. D: Post show up in repley overview but not the topic itself. I'll have Kai or manda look into it.
  24. Champ213

I believe we would have to change the code of the skin for that. We are planning on getting a new forum skin sooner or later, so maybe we can drop the join date then.
  25. Champ213

Because they were seriously overhyped. Which they partially did do to themselves. Remember those gimicks about the members being revealed in grande fashion which then, unsurprisingly, turned out to be absolute nobodies from bands that only rarez traders would know about. But people fell for it and began drooling over this band that barely released 3 songs at that time and expectations were hyped up enourmously. (HearJapan's hissfit didn't really help either, though supposedly that's not the band's fault.) Musically, they were always mediocre. But they went through enormous efforts of drawing attention to that mediocrity, so obviously they received a stronger beating than other likewise mediocre bands that are just being ignored.
