after being indefinitely on hiatus at 2013/02/22, it is announced at 女王蜂(ziyoou-vachi) LIVE DVD preview event at 2013/12/02 that they will resume activities in 2014, although details have not yet been announced

Wait, they have 2 guitarists now!?
 
They've been sitting on a bunch of songs for years now and I really hope something gets released. Wasn't the doguu mini album mentioned on the homepage a year or two ago?
Maybe some are compositions by past members that they can't really record as munimuni's?
 
I'm starting to think that proper CD releases are just not financially feasible for a small band like them.
If only more Japanese artists used a service like bandcamp!

Japanese post-rockers MONO have just released a new single Kanata on bandcamp for $1. It's MONO's theme for the WOWOW television mini-series "Kanata No Ko". Check it out here

Speculation: according to the new index page, MUNIMUNI might be releasing their 3rd maxi single ("maximum singe" xD) titled "HANG ON ME" in the future.
