if you want to make sure (fail-proof) you have to use a VPN service, but the best solution if you really want to 'torrent the shit out of jpopsuki' would be a seedbox (those are not free tho, same for good VPN providers - but it might be worth it, and guarantees a good ratio).

the thing is, my internet provider blocks my internet access for a day and goes so far as to threaten legal action if i ever torrent something. i learned that the hard way when i tried torrenting rpdr...;w;

Are their post-revival releases worth checking out? I remember trying really really hard to like them in 2008~9 and it just wasn't happening for me. Riku without any artistic restraint can sometimes be a big mess. 

I use it for the stats, it's fun to see what I listened to like, ten years ago vs three years ago. Also it's fun to browse until I come across new bands, etc. Basically what people already said.
It's fun to keep track of your music related behaviours.

ok but aside from all the charts and data though it's really fun to browse through the similar artists and friend's libraries. i mean, that's like how i found out about so many different bands and all that underground indie shit.

[since my music taste is nothing to brag about] i have it because i'm a whore for statistics, and since i continue to use itunes as my music player on my pc despite the switch i made from an iphone to android, there's no way to sync android play counts to itunes (as far as i'm aware) so i decided to use last.fm to keep track of that stuff for me

ya but last.fm existed before itunes was so big. also i still use winamp like it's 1998

I use it because I like charts and data. I have it tied into my iTunes at home and my spotify for work and when on the go.
 
It's also great for bragging about all the rarez you have

?? people use the plugin with their own player to log their music plays. last.fm then charts your plays in a meaningful/easy to understand way. then if you're the type you can use it to participate in communities/find new shit/people who listen to the same shit.

I think it is a really well done release, even if they are somewhat not really clear on their band idea/concept. Gives us a glimpse on some powerfull song writing for the next releases
