Has anyone tried out their third album? Not sure how I feel yet. It kind of sounded like 4/10 songs were trying to be 'Riot Rhythm 2.0' and that didn't sit well with me. Still excited to see them in concert, though.

Want so bad, but I'm not sure if I'll buy it when its out or just wait till Christmas since my family never has any idea of what to get me. Some of the megaevolutions look amazing, others aren't. Obviously I like the Blastoise one I haven't really been keeping up with spoilers on purpose. I want to go through the game on my own and learn the new things as if I were playing it for the first time. I've seen most of the officially announced new pokemon, but I'm not going to go digging for leaks and stats / skillsets till I actually start playing. The new IV / EV tracker will be so helpful.

Laruku's "Blurry Eyes" remind me a lot of a yearly fair my school used to have. I listened to that song a lot doing a very tumultuous part of my life--I was starting to be less shy, was slowly coming out to myself, and was finally making new friends after switching schools. I guess that event holds as a transitional period for myself, so I hold a lot of good memories with that song. The fact that the music video also took place on fairgrounds also helps me make an association between the two as well.

Bury Tomorrow's vocalist is hot. As is August Burns Red's Black Dahlia Murder's would have been if he shaved and got a hair cut before he stopped being fat. Would consider War of Ages' vox too. He kind of looks like Furik though????

Actually, there seems to be a lot more non-vkei being added. There has been a decrease in the amount of touhou being shared, at least from the few times I check the download section a week, but saying it's only visual-kei wouldn't be completely accurate. Most of our avid sharers tend to stick to just the vkei scene, but if people make more requests for other kinds of music then I'm sure that will be shared as well.

So you want to share Korean pop music on a Japanese rock forum.

I've been under the impression that 'kote-kei' describes anything before 2002, aside from nagoya stuff like Merry Go Round or Phobia (even though they looked like everything else at the time and were a bit different musically). I'm thinking dark makeup, crappy photoshop, blurry pictures, feathers, poofy hair, do-it-yourself blood paint, and the occasional picture that's only in black and white, etc. That's why I said Phantasmagoria weren't: they were much more elaborate, used their look in a much more dramatic setting for their shows and photo shoots, and more or less change drastically between releases. I'd say the only other band whose done that in a more extreme fashion was Malice Mizer. I guess it's more of a problem of a lot of people considering old vkei to just be matina / key party / soleil (if you're lucky).
