Tokage got a reaction from The Reverend in Crucifixion's singer prob has the best voice out of all the homage kei bands
one could argue that that would make it LESS of an accurate homage but i still dig it

Yes, but to be fair that's not a very difficult competition to win.

Tokage got a reaction from CAT5 in ppl into that nu-metal vk stuff should check out Seo Taiji's Ultramania album at leas
Also yea Seo Taiji's done a bunch of stuff, he's done the rap and boy band stuff (actually some of the tracks they released as a group had a kinda nu-metal vibe already too), one of his albums has more of a '90s alt rock sound to it, there's this nu-metal one, the one right after that was kinda somewhere in between pop punk and nu-metal, after that i've kinda lost track of his stuff but it seemed like he was moving in a more electronic direction

oh i forgot, there's these guys as well. there's also ares and schizo but they already veer off hard into that kinda industrial buttrock department

i legit enjoy that entire album tbh, it's pretty solid as far as nu-metal goes.
as far as i remember, 피아 (Pia)'s first two albums or so also kinda have the nu-metal vibe going on, their later stuff amps up the pop angle hard tho

I can confirm this, not only are they excellent on disc, they also deliver a great live performance. I even saw them do acoustic versions of their music once and the vocalist is a skilled pianist as well as singer. Their influences are top-tier too, a mix of all eras of Nagoya VK. I think their style doesn't appeal to the commercial sides of VK though, and the vocalist suffer from Nigu-syndrome aka. he's fatter than average so I assume they have a difficult time getting the fangirls.
