  1. The best thing Gazette has done. It's so beautiful and touching that it's hard to believe Gazette is able to do something like this. Viored's Kimikage Kusa just found a challenger. I don't give a crap about people saying "baww it's terrible and boring". If music was sex, this would be my best fuckbuddy ever. Video was really lame though.

Well, their previous single sucked major balls and was the worst thing since TMOAB, so I'm not expecting anything. Lotus sounds like a really nice name though. Maybe they'll surprise me and do something totally different from their usual style. Their wannabe deathcore crap is getting a bit old. Uroboros was a really nice direction, but Hageshisa totally ruined the progress. But let's hope it was just a temporary brain damage.

Same speed, same tuning and the same tone of voice, idk what is screw's vocaloids name, but he sounds really close to mao in this song. considering they're bouncing between a sadie copy-cat and another upbeat VK band, I hope that only crappy sales will stop this POS band from going major. I mean, I want them to become another Sug, so they're mocked and laughed at and people point finger and all that cool stuff. Different speed, and Byou doesn't sound like Mao at all. The notes are the same, yes, but Screw used this same riff with same notes in Thirty♂Revolver, which was released in 2006. Aka two years before Ice Romancer. Not to mention that this "riff" is like the most used breakfiller in heavy vk songs. That thing is just a chromatic run without palm muting, and I doubt anyone would even want to take credit for making something like that up.

Lol, what is "the real Gazette"? And they just released two singles without any ballads. There's no pleasing you guys.

I'm surprised so many actually think X-Rays was better. Well, each to their own. I'm lazy so I'll do a really short review. Really good songs are; 刹那??刻, Duality, false dawn, Lower World, Ancient Rain, Rosary. Am I the only one who likes Duality? The song progression is really cool. It's original. Maybe it shouldn't have been the PV song, but it's still very good. Atleast they tried something other that main riff - verse - chorus - verse - chorus - break etc. And it blends well, in my opinion. Chorus of 刹那??刻 is really addicting and mellow. Lower World, false down etc. are the kind of songs they should focus on. This is where they are clearly at their best. Piano of Rosary is awesome. The solo, on the other hand, was really boring. Dual solo on that song would've been too good. Good songs are; femme fatale, Inferiority Complex, as cold as marble. femme fatale is very cool. Glad they're experimenting. Could be better, but it's not bad at all. That ending duel solo of IC is sweet. as cold as marble sounds like their basic upbeat rock songs they play as the final song of their gig. The rest are meeeh. I was expecting that M.R.T and Jail Breaker would be just crap, but they weren't THAT bad. Not that they're that good either. Their best full album. Easily. Can't even compare X-Rays to this, half of the songs on that were pure crap. Crap-factor is almost non-existant in this album. A lot of improvement, but leaves room for more. I like this direction. Rui's joining was exactly what they needed. I'd say this deserves 8/10.

Music should never be taken too seriously anyway. Music is about expressing yourself and having fun. Some listeners just ruin this awesome form of art.
  7. This is what you get when you bring christianity to uneducated idiots. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=dae_1236854361 WARNING. Video contains actual people getting killed. Yeah, you don't have to watch it. All the money they waste on spreading religions to countries that suffer from hunger and violence. All that money could be used for food, shelter, clothes. But no. It's better to use it to transport books and priests there. Not to mention building pointless chaples. Next time you're thinking of donating money on christian charity, DO NOT do it.

Things like this makes me want to believe in hell. : | But no can do. I don't usually agree with death penalty, but I don't see how a person like this could ever be let out on the streets.

I hope /b makes their life as miserable as possible. I'd piss on their door every night if I lived there, untill they made a public apology.

gyakutai: Thaaank you. allisapp: Possibly. I haven't been to any gig for over a year though. Oh wait, two years? Last gig was Black:List x exist trace. You need to have a really good memory if you really remember. :'D

    Me being grainy 'n' stuff.
  12. Disposable: That's cuz finnish people have awesome music taste. Ehm, well at times. Ruki has ear for good music, eye for awesome visuals, and even the jewelry he designed is cool. The guy is a true artist. The only thing he sucks at is english. And if I remember correctly, Ruki never denied Shiver is used for anime. He denied it's specificly written for anime. And I'm pretty sure it's not, because the song doesn't fit the opening at all.
  13. Eww, no. Before I Decay is their worst release since SR. Funny how you call 30 second clip uninspiring and think BID was good. Well, whatever floats your boat.
  14. Lol, Free-Will naming. I like it. Ballads with strings and violins = win.
  15. bakteeri

I kinda lol'd at "power metal". The first three albums are great. Hate Crew Death Roll was quite good too. But after Alexander Kuoppala left, they became utter bullshit.
  16. bakteeri

Hmm, both samples are actually pretty good. Much better than anything on the new singles. Steady wasn't that bad, it doesn't have that "faggyness" which Smile had. Or maybe I just like it cause I'm a sucker for bass-slapping. That part was great. Maybe this won't be so bad afterall.
  17. THIS. Also, heidi and Matenrou Opera sounds interesting. Though, I was hoping DaizyStripper would do a studio version of hide's Misery, but this'll do. I was almost interested in Merry too, but I listened to Schwein no isu, and remembered it was the crappiest song on Gauze. But who knows, maybe Merry will make it good.

You know what they should do? Start making songs like Agony and Burial Applicant again! Yeah. Weren't those songs awesome? How many notes those songs had, like three? Oh man, that must have been hard. They souldn't do songs like Red, it requires just way too much talent for these guys. That solo had like an album full of Burial Applicants. What a waste. Hey now I know! They should do awesome masterpieces like Bathory's Satan My Master. That song is so epic in all of it's two complicated riffs!
  19. Most songs of Dir en grey. Especially Kaoru's parts. Gazette's heavy songs are usually pretty simple too. Especially Agony and Burial Applicant.
  20. Jake posted spam threads to Batsu, so I thought why the hell not. Batsu was starting to die slowly when the admin left. So I joined. It was the very first TW. TW has almost become like the new Batsu. It doesn't feel as much home as Batsu, but it's good. The thing that reminds me of Batsu the most, is the amount of self-important douchebags. :''D But I miss the lack of intelligent conversation about normal subjects. Even Batsu had that. We should make a sub-forum to discuss about stuff that are relevant to the world right now, without retarded spamming that ain't funny at all. That's the only thing I miss.

Gazette. Back in 2008, I really disliked them. I used to despise everything they did. I always liked Miseinen though. Then I pulled my head out of my ass and realised that they're not that bad, and they do have talent when they want to. Especially when they released Guren. I also really liked Hyena, even though I didn't care about that kind of music at all back then. I listened to some of their old stuff, and I thought Disorder was pretty good. NIL was kinda good too. Even to this day, I think most of SR is pure garbage, but I really started to like them. Then with DIM, I became what you could call a fanboy. And now that they released Red, I like them even more. I also used to hate everything Miayvi did, but some of his stuff has grown on me too. Especially after the song he did with Sugizo.

Two weeks. What do people think of the samples? I have a feeling it's gonna be close to the greatness of Nanairo no Reienka. Synths are back, which they should've never abandon. Inferiority Complex sounds really cool. And ファム・ファタール is so not Screw. They better not screw (lol) this up. But there's no way it could be as bad as X-Rays. Edit: Forgot to add, having a new member was exactly what they needed. Rui hasn't impressed me with his playing skills yet, but damn he saved them from that terrible fall-down which they had after Gather Roses. joutomailla brilliantly got as the links for two remaining samples. rosary: http://www.indie-psc.com/music/screw/10 ... ity/12.swf as cold as marble: http://www.indie-psc.com/music/screw/10 ... ity/13.swf

I'm really surprised. In a good way of course. Sky High is amazing. Rotate was okay too. Glad they're able to make heavy songs that aren't just copy/paste. Really looking forward to their album now.

Pfft, Soar is easily one of their best singles. That ballad on it is a fucking masterpiece. Black Side was a bit of a downer, but Poplar was really good. And their last indies song Hana, was such a beautiful song. I can't believe the change would be so noticable when going major. Like they suddenly just lost their touch. There's been only one good major song. Rest is mediocre, or just crap.
  25. bakteeri

The Kiddie used to be one of the best bands ever. I could've never thought, that out of all bands, THEY would turn crap. But I'm not giving up just yet. I'll give this album a chance.
