Oh lol, these are so funny. Edit: Give dem pics! More stuff like that Danchou-case.
  2. bakteeri

Lol, god. Get out. If he existed, America would've got hit by a meteor a long time ago. Lucky for us, he's not real. He's a total douchebag anyway.
  3. Well, most of the songs are sung by Daisuke. I'd prefer all, but what can ya do. Atleast he wrote them. It was nice to see Shizumi and Yuana there too. One of the songs is missing vocals, so an instrumental eh? And it lists only 11 songs, so one is probably just sound effects. And Daisuke used to play drums in Fatima. He's still a great drummer, there was a clip of him playing Rosier on Kagerou Saishuu Kouen. PS I think I just vomited a little when I realised the leadsinger of epic-chorus-song is Tatsurou.

Hmm, the song is actually really good. Very addicting. The last time I heard them, they sucked.

So, basically the point is that we post songs that includes a musician. How he used to be (how much he sucked) and how is he now. (how awesome he is!) My favorite is probably Daisuke. I couldn't find the very first recording of kagerou from youtube, but I can upload few if someone wants. They're bad, in a lol way. But I found one quite old song where he... doesn't sound too good. Song is great though. dfogCT1H8WA He got pretty good pretty fast though. Here's my favorite singing from him. Zp1S-WdWSoc Another one which I can think is the singer of La Mule/NightingeiL. He was terrible in La Mule, but nowadays he sounds really good.

I won't probably even listen to this, but he needs to do proper versions of I Love You and Moon, with better drums and basslines added.

Yoshiki's pissed-off-video is pretty funny. But he's never rude to his fans. Always taking pictures with them and sharing autographs. There were some bad rumors about Kisaki few years ago. Apparently some girl was stalking him and wanted him to bone her. She asked "why won't you let me love you" and Kisaki replied "you're not worthy". She got mad and flooded 2ch with crap about Kisaki, like he's a rapist and stuff. Ah, good times.

After listening to most of this thread, I can come to a conclusion that in the 90's, music was overall much better. But holy shit those singers are fucking terrible. And I thought nowadays the scene had crappy singers. Some of them were actually good, but most were just embarrassing.
  9. bakteeri

    And without aie's lame guitarsound.
  10. bakteeri

Yukino and kazu = instant win. Hope they stick around, this should be awesome.
  11. bakteeri

    Generic and awesome as fuck.

Viored - Cold Ruby. Pretty much all of their songs are catchy as hell. dQZ7SAZCBa8 +1 for Rosier.
  13. Daisuke had a mini-album planned for around september or something. And I've read all the songs were finished. They also played few unreleased songs at his funeral. I'm sure all the songs are sung by Daisuke. He had been working for this project for over a year before the first single, so he probably has many songs finished. Most likely he had his friends play for him, that's pretty common for solo-artists. Dunno why people are thinking of a cover album. A cover of a song that hasn't been released? What the hell? Anyway, I'm really excited for this. Though, I kinda foresee this, since Iya's PV still hasn't been released.

Here. Edit: Hah, now this thing sure didn't work as well as I though. We'll you get the picture.
  15. bakteeri

It was sad to see Daisuke there. It's really absurd when a musician you practicly grow up with, dies. But shit happens. We still have his music. I hope Free-Will decides to release the rest of his songs which he managed to finish before his death. I heard his upcoming mini album was already finished. I just wanna hear his last works.

Agree 100%, he should never have been allowed to touch a microphone. Lol, says a guy who likes Asagi.

Only songs from Kisou can top Lotus. It's so awesome. People start hating when Dir en grey starts making music that sounds meaningful and thought out. Instead of songs that are "ooga booga rubel rubel fuck fuck didelydoo". The only new song where Kyo doesn't sound like total crap. It makes their previous single look like total bullshit. Also lol @ Senedjem's comment.

hide > rest of Japan. Hands down. Lawl, my original post is showing only when you click reply and check replies down that small window. Copypaste: I'm only reviewing those I've heard before. Heidi's Pink Spider was pretty bland. Nothing special. Original is a million times better. 5/10 Lolita23q - Storm was starting as a promising track, but some parts just aren't working. At all. Good effort though. 7/10 Matenrou Opera - Kurenai was probably the best track here. Crappy engrish, but other than that, really well done. Powerful and great atmosphere. 8½/10 Merry was surprisingly good. The original song ain't that great to begin with, but it sounded pleasant. 7/10

Lol, I don't understand these 0/10 reviews. Oh, it's generic? Well great fucking job sherlock! Who would've thought... So many geniouses around here! It's 100% basic VK music. Is it bad? Does it sound bad in my ears? No. Not at all. Infact, it sounds really good and pleasant. This is very easy listening. Even the performance is really well done. People might find this boring, but this is done as well as music like this can be done. When it comes to generic VK bands, this band is perfect. Great playing, great composing, everything sounds just like it should sound like. No risks at all, just honest VK rock. If I'd rate it by originality, I'd give it 5/10. But seriously, who the hell would expect originality from Vivid? Rating it as it is, I'd give it 9/10. Nothing to go wow about, but it's great background music while surfing on the net. Catches along at times, and then I just continue doing whatever I'm doing. If this band would've started in early 90's, they'd be gods. Too bad now they just blend in with the rest.

Lotus is awesome. Their best song for a looooong time. Didn't care much for Obscure, chorus was really nice though. Didn't care about the live song either, but that doublebass part was really badass. Best Dir en grey mixing ever. They should keep that guy, he's making them sound powerfull.
  23. Niiice. But is there a Shoujo no inori II somewhere?
  24. bakteeri

Eww, emo. But fuck yeah Kyotaro. He'll make it good.
  25. bakteeri

I hope it's as awesome as the previous album.
