I hope the ballads turn out to be composed by Shinji. I prefer his ballads over Yuuya's tbh. However, Yuuya writes the best mid-tempo songs, while I like Aki on the up-tempo/crazy songs. I told you gossip!! would be his composition

I dreamt two nights ago that I was in some studio in Finland. Tuomas Holopainen (from Nightwish) wanted me to do a collaboration with his band (because somehow I was relevant in the music world, haha). We got interrupted by Marcelo Cabuli, Tarja Turunen's husband, who thought I should do a collab with his wife instead of with Tuomas. So they tried to convince me to choose between them because for some apparent reason I was only allowed to do one collab. They started yelling at eachother and then Atsushi Sakurai (BUCK-TICK) came in to ask me if I wanted to do a collab with BUCK-TICK instead. So I was like "lol sure" and silently left the studio with him while the other two were still fighting. My brain is full of fuck.

Time to make myself a list: - Takanori Nishikawa (TMR/abingdon boys school) - ASAGI (D) - Atsushi Sakurai (BUCK-TICK) - Hayato (DuelJewel) - Ryuuichi Kawamura (LUNA SEA) - Yoshiyuki (heidi.) - Isshi (Kagrra, though not the very best due too his operations, he still has a very comforting sound which results in me adding him to this list) - Satsuki (ex-RENTRER EN SOI) - Mao (SID)

I started the opposite version of this topic a few months back (with the results mostly being Kagrra, or BUCK-TICK) so I wanted to find out what you guys consider the worst fanbases within VK. I know this topic might spark some controversy, mainly because every fanbase is unique in its own way and every fanbase has a few wackos in it that ruin the fun for everyone else. So if I name my opinion that doesn't mean I am speaking of this entire fanbase. I think it would be better to state which fanbase has the most delusional/wacko fans. I'm going to guess that DIR EN GREY and the GazettE are going to make an appearance often, so I would like to ask to people who state their answer to use some motivation (and mostly desired) or personal experiences with said fanbase. For the rest, rant to your heart's content. The fanbase that I've personally encountered within VK that had the most cray-crays is DIR EN GREY. The people on last.fm, the vast amount of people we banned (for example ohaiitzwill) that were a bit too overprotective of their favourite band and just the fact that I can't say that I'm not really fond of their DUM SPIRO SPERO album without getting shot in the face for it or people telling me it's "2deep4u (throwing that one in for Pretsy). So, discuss!

I personally thought only the remake was outstanding, ayakashi was OK, but the rest was kind of boring. I'm going into this album with no expectations whatsoever.

Now that I'm getting into BUCK-TICK I'll be looking forward to their album release!

Could anyone give me any hints as to where to start listening when it comes to BUCK-TICK? I've been meaning to check them out, but their discography is so big I didn't know where to start. I've heard three songs by them so far: JUPITER, DRESS and sapphire, and I liked all three of them.

It's been like that for the past 4 days I'm afraid, I can't change it either. The status reported that they know that there is a problem and that their team of engineers is working on it. We're almost 5 days from that now, and they still haven't fixed it. It's kind of weird, because usually these people can fix these things without a couple of hours. Or perhaps they didn't think this was important enough to give all immediate attention too.

If you're into Within Temptation and Nightwish, you might want to try Versailles, and especially their album JUBILEE. It kind of gives off that symphonic vibe that you might be looking for. At least, that's what I think, because I both like those artists as well. If you like Vidoll, I'm pretty sure you'll like vistlip's THEATER album. Also, last but not least (since I see you're also into some older bands) give LUNA SEA's MOTHER album a try. It's as VK as you can get.

I heard those were quite rare as well. You might get some extra cash for it on the black market.

Just like stylelover, I'm going to wait for the full album, otherwise I'll just be disappointed like last time. Thanks! Digging it. (also, I am the one who prefers their rockier and poppier songs like Kagerou to unnecessary hurrdurrcore-stuff like Rosario) That's kind of how I felt as well. I think that was the main reason I didn't like Rosario or COLD BLOOD. COLD BLOOD had the poppy single, but the rest was more of the HURDDUURR RAWR CHUGCHUG kind of thing. I'll check the previews out when I feel like it, but if it's more poppy than I have higher expectations.
