iMpXAknykeg Second one to bite the dust. First Lin, then NEGA. I am seriously wondering how all the other smaller UCP bands are going to survive this closing, even though they said they're going to continue. Makes it seem unlikely that Kisaki will start a new label as well (as those bands could then move to his new label). I'm indifferent about NEGA, never really liked them, but sad for their fans.

I agree, he has a point there.

I think wsp hit the nail right on the head with the term "wallet-rape", because that is basically what this is. Two types of each CD, wow.

I'm getting real tired of this shit. pixyfalse01, check your PM box, now. I am growing tired of the fact that every Kisaki topic ends in a dramafest because someone feels like overreacting every time another member says even the slightest negative thing about him. Ricchu, you are allowed to post wherever you want but please just ignore pixyfalse01 whenever he responds to you again, because challenging him will only make it worse. Now everybody get back on topic or I'm going to have to hand out warnings.
  10. It was an eyesore of mine as well. Fixed.

^ With that price I'd expect to get a KISAKI along with it.
  12. That pricing I wish I could buy it but...6800yen is a bit over my budget at the moment, especially since work isn't giving me any hours anymore. The tracklist is great though, I might buy it when spring starts and I'm getting hours at work again, but for now I don't see how I'm going to be able to pay for this.

Welcome to the forum! Nice to see another D fan

I decided to wait a little bit with my review, so that the initial fan-attack would be over and I would be able to give an objective opinion on this new release by D (who have been my favourite artist ever since mid-2010). Needless to say, waiting two weeks with a review didn't really matter in this case. This mini-album was great from start to finish. 名もなき森の夢語り, is what I'd like to call: 7th Rose part 2. Whatever they wanted to do with 7th Rose they did again on this mini-album, the only advantage of this mini-album being that it didn't have any previously released songs that wouldn't go with the theme (like how Day by Day totally didn't match 7th Rose). The monk chants are actually placed correctly (unlike in their previous two singles) and do not sound cheesy as they'd usually do. The mix between lighter and darker sections also match with the way the entire CD was designed (I have my own copy, so that's what I am basing this on), which is pretty cool. They dramatically lowered the amount of synths, which gives both Ruiza and HIDE-ZOU an opportunity to shine. Also, let's not forget that Tsunehito plays as well as ever and this is the first time in a long while that we can actually hear on record how much of a beast HIROKI is on the drums. The composing on this mini-album was diverse, which is probably because ASAGI didn't completely do it by himself (along with maybe one song by Tsunehito), but shared half of the tracks with Ruiza and Tsunehito, who once again showed they are just as competent at composing as ever. Oddly enough, this was also the case on 7th Rose, where Ruiza and Tsunehito both got two songs out of them all as well. This needs to happen more often, thank you very much. I can't actually tell you what my favourite tracks are, since this mini-album is better heard as a whole (another similarity it has with 7th Rose). The songs flow nicely into eachother and the slower songs keep it interesting with small details like flutes, harps and acoustic sections. All in all, I loved this mini-album and it most certainly is my favourite release this year so far (along with A's ELEMENTA ALCHEMICA). I'm giving this a 8.5/10 and hope this will be a theme that D will stick with in the future.

Wait, they released an album? When, where? How did I not know about this?

First of all: anyone who claims this is boring or terrible needs to go listen to the 40-minute version instead of the digital version and then come back, because I have no clue whatsoever how someone could think this is boring. Even though the four song sections are completely different, it still feels as one single song. The amount of diversity the track has also makes sure it doesn't get too repetitive, nor does it actually feel like the thing is 40 minutes long. The intro with the falsettos and the speech might be a bit cheesy, but once the earth section sets in it's all back to straight A goodness. Earth is strong, shaking and all over the place, just like the element itself. I therefore now take the time to praise them on how well they incorporated the elements' characteristics into the song sections, it was absolutely brilliant. Once earth ends, the heavy atmosphere immediately calms down. The switch is there, but it's not disturbing, nor is it too big. The nature sounds really set a nice atmosphere for the water part that follows closely after the short melodic intro that is mainly focused on Rookie's violin playing. Water is dramatic, concentrated, with a mix of calmness and power, just the way water actually is. I personally am very fond of this section, though pointing out a favourite is difficult. Every time I get into a section I can't make up my mind which one I prefer. And I don't have to choose one, since it's one song after all. Fire's intro is badass and wild and makes the fire song sound better than it was on the digital version. It's not that I disliked it (not at all) but it didn't leave an impression on me like earth and water did. The same goes with the air song, it sounds a lot better when taken with the other three along with a good intro. Fire therefore sounds brutally epic now, but epic in a different way than earth was. The switch from water to fire again was quite big, but that's what made it so great in my opinion. Then last is air. On the digital version this song didn't stand out for me at all, but taken with the great intro and melodic sections along with the fact that it's the closing element and therefore lightens the song up a bit, it sounds a lot better. It's still my least favourite section out of the four, but it's good they placed this one at the end and not somewhere in between. This single would've sounded completely different and probably worse if they had changed the order of the elements. After air follows a dramatic outro with an orchestra, which ends this 40-minute masterpiece. A wins single of the year, with a solid 9.5/10 (didn't like air enough for a 10/10) and a permanent place in the list of my favourite VK acts of the past few years.

I'm not sure what's going on here, but I can't be expected to when you're speaking in French. My limited knowledge of the language tells me xriko is being aggressive without any proper reason, so I'm telling you now to knock it off. Also, I'd much more prefer if we spoke in English.
  22. So this single will be live-limited?
