Just realized "Oni to kage" was released 6 years ago (actually almost to the day, it was 13th Feb) and got all nostalgic. I love these guys so much still. ;w; I remember all the excitement while waiting for the CD to come in the mail and then getting to rock out to it while browsing the booklet. Granted, it's kinda just a glorified GAUZE tribute album, but that could never turn me off of it, haha. 解離性同一性障害 is one of my eternal jams.

Monet didn't deserve to win. I felt she was doing well and deserved to be in the top four, but she did not deserve to be in the top two. She lost my vote after that pink """cat""" couture costume (looked more like a pig suit). I would have rather seen Monique lip-syncing with Trinity. Especially with that bullshit double-crowning. If it was Trinity vs. Monique, yeah, I would have had a difficult time deciding too, I would have said "fuck it, condragulations both of you" but, Monet? Really?
 

 
I was really rooting for Naomi (I totally have a crush on out-of-drag-Naomi and hella wanna make out with him), but she still got critiqued in the deliberation when everyone else got "she's beautiful she's perfect," so I knew she would stay top four and not lip-sync.
 
As for Season 11, nobody interests me so far. There's too many people. I loved the Miss Vanjie meme, but that's in the past now, that was a season 10 thing. Let's hope she doesn't try to dig it back up.

It's a new album (disc 1 has 13 new songs). "音源映像集"  ("sound/audio and video collection" to be more literal) is just a pretentious way of saying that they're forcing you to buy the extra collaboration disc and BD as well. ADORATIO was (is?) mail-order/live-limited too and initially released in the exact same format. Nevertheless, ADORATIO was actually my Japanese AOTY for 2017, so I'm incredibly excited to see what they'll come up with this time.

I loved this season, but it should have been Monique and Trinity. Monet did well throughout the competition, but I feel like Monique outperformed her every time. 

i won't even watch the last episode (saw spoiler in twitter about naomi not getting the crown and lost interest right there lol). all those TwiSts and dRAma are now so exaggerated it's become hard for me to watch. it could be just my problem, but it seems people here are not so satisfied with as4 for some whatever reason. and i'm also not excited for anyone in season 11 just yet

RuPaul and VH1 really are burying this franchise into the ground, aren't they? I'm not even excited for S11 in the slightest.

Ridiculously lame finale. Only entertaining part was poor Monique not knowing how to do cartwheels, lmao.

It's not too Jazzy, but it is rather heavy. Dare I say, heavier than 脈拍? All in all, a solid album! My thoughts so far:
壊れたピアノ: it's that 'creepy' piano melody from the preview vid サイコ: the verse sounds like a heavier パノラマ, punky chorus, great breakdown in the middle, great fast MUCC heaviness アイリス: a bit slower, has a cool surf-y intro, but 'reggae' verses that I FUCKING LOATHE, everything else is good though 😒 ヴァンパイア: It's kind of bland, just a typical piano ballad. One of the more jazzy songs, so i'll give it credit there In the shadows: not sure how I feel about the rapping here, but everything else is great, back to slow MUCC heaviness, ffo EMP 積想: And we've got another ballad. This one is beautiful, just fucking beautiful, this is where they bring out all the strings. 百合と翼: ZERO jazz here, but I love the main riff here, I can't think of much to say other than that it's a cool song カウントダウン: the chorus is utagoe garbage and the verses are generic mid 2000's fast MUCC. Why did this song have to be the longest? Living Dead: great piano melody, great "slow grand finale" feel to it  
If you love MUCC unconditionally, you will  L O V E  this album
If 脈拍 was not heavy enough for you, I think you'll like this
If you expect cali≠gari level avant-garde, wtf-ery experimentation, you will be disappointed

Everything here sounds great! Didn't think I was gonna like 断頭台から愛を込めて, but it sounds marvellous! Judging by the previews, this mini should surpass VERSUS. First song on both types are great, I can't decide which one is a better opener.
