http://mora.jp/package/43000005/VICL-64840/ THE NOVEMBERS did a nice job with Andrometamorphosis, The MUCC one sounds pretty good, a crowd of rebellion ruined 梟, the Silent Noise cover might be worth buying, everything else is kinda bleh Sei's hasty verdict: if you want the re-recording of ZERO, wait on buying until it hits the ¥100 shelves at Closet Child. Otherwise, pick and choose on iTunes/etc. Also... FIRE UP YOUR PROXIES, BITCHES:

The limited edition cover looks alright, though it was cheap of them to use the Times New Yorker font for the album title. The regular edition looks dumb... it actually looks like something I, an absolute amateur, would try to do in Photoshop. They're not album covers, they're DeviantArt projects.

I think I'm going with the ANGEL version. The DEVIL version of the title track sounds disjointed and I'm not digging the b-side on that one. Out of all the songs, I think I like "I depend on you" the most.

18-year-old self: requires full discographies of every single band I listened to, 100% everything, even if it sucked, even if I didn't stan them. 24-year-old self: has no post-2007 アヤビエ, deletes DIAURA's 月光 single, doesn't have a single post-2004 蜉蝣 single, deleting crappy bonus tracks from various releases. As you evolve, your music library evolves with you. The terabytes of downloaded music you haven't added to your library, on the other hand, do not.

I hope this album will help me grow to like these songs. I have mixed feelings about this. I absolutely loved FOCUS, but I thought Triangle was a flop... although, MY RESISTANCE (TYPE A) was fantastic. Hopefully they aren't on a FLOP/BOP/FLOP/BOP pattern here.

I think the only remotely rare song in either tracklist is 脳内妄想 and maybe that "song" from Dear... (assuming the others like Bondage and 最後の晩餐 are the mini album versions). I still wish a full version of that Bondage demo existed.

I never tried buyee. Their service is decent, they just charge dumb fees once you get ready to ship everything. When you're ordering the items themselves, you're only paying for the items, there's no Charge 1 commissions, so it's easy to spend a lot. Avoid buying from a vast number of shops, and avoid Yahoo! Auctions.

I need to stop buying things from Yahoo! Auctions through FJ. They charge bank transfer and "plan" fees per item, which is total fucking bullshit, and they really add up!

哀愁のアンティーク (Aishuu no Antique) not being a part of their digital catalogue is criminal! Anyone interested in MUCC should listen to that album.

Not entirely sure if this is an unpopular opinion, but I'm pretty sure it is: I really like cali≠gari's 11, maybe more than 12. I still haven't heard 10, but I don't think I'll like it as much as 11.

This is why I started, back before The Incident. To keep up with others' tastes in music, and to show mine as well. It was always cool to see the "friends now listening" page. I still have my account, but I haven't scrobbled anything since April 2016. A part of me thinks about going back every now and then. I'm not gonna delete my account. These days, the site is my album artwork dumping ground 😄
