Given that it’s a parody I feel like they didn’t want it to get too political (either), yanno? Freedom of speech tho? Idk her.

i like both pre- and post-dmmd goatbed, dont get me wrong

i just personally dont understand the stigma post-dmmd since there are a lot of great songs there 🤷‍♀️but to each their own, i suppose

I’d say that people tend to think of post-DMMd tracks as /just/ the byproduct of DMMd. Idk tho. Some hate em only because of DMMd, which I kind of get in a way. But hey, music is music. The (loud minority of) fans can’t really ruin that too, can they?

GOATBED is the solo project of vocalist Shuji Ishii

GOATBED  is a Japanese electropop band. First known as goatbed, they begun releasing music in early 2003, after cali≠gari's activity suspension. The band went on a hiatus on May 2, 2008 and reunited 3 years later (2011), an event that resulted in major member changes. Before their first disbandment, the band's main focus was 80's new wave rock music. Their current style, however, leans towards techno and minimalism.

    Current line-up:

    • Shuji Ishii (石井秀仁) - Vocals, Guitar, Programming (2003.6 - present)

    • Yuji Ishii (石井雄次) - Keyboards (2011 - present)

Where are they streaming all those stuff? There's a lot of messages here to browse heheh

If you’re referring to kimi ga saku yama, the disc was released 20 years ago.

Pretty interesting song imo, it’s about necrophilia…

what i'm basically saying for any unbridled shuuji enthusiasm i am here 4 it!!

but uh sads123 is the one to ask for any history or in depth info

What would we younger fans do without you, amazing people 🖤🖤🖤

  7. I'm sure you're all familiar with the sometimes awkward use of English in songs (not just vk). So, since this is really commonplace, feel free to drop examples in here, like unexpected Russian, Spanish or even Latin lyrics that may have caught you by surprise! I know I love it when I spot broken German:'))))

well, technically dmmd tracks belongs to goatbed, but they are associated with anime and visual novel, so maybe that's the reason why i can't even remember live setlists with that songs somewhere outside anime fests or events. idk hah.

In case you haven't come across this already, here you go!

Still, the fact that this is a live from late 2009 hits differently.

"It's all Asian, it's the same, so you should love BTS too or something's wrong with you weeb"

I've been called racist against Asians because I don't like Kpop

I don't know how some VK fans can up and leave for Kpop so quick

Firstly, (hopefully) we can all agree that people that carry out these kinds of personal attacks are pretentious af.

    SECONDLY, that's just plain weird.

As a kid I came across Super Junior and absolutely loved their colorful mvs-Rokugo esp. Didn't really become a fan since I did find everything to be a bit too manufactured and controlled for my liking but  that's just personal preference. I was a tween when the bts boom begun and quite honestly I was  glad that such thing was taking place since I thought that people would become a bit more accepting of minorities, you know?

    Still,,,

Never got into kpop but imma be a bitch baby and say that the fandom could be a tad calmer about... Stuff. Just that. Imo kpop is okay!
