That's Hotaru-chan. You can watch him building it here:

This is so amazing. haha. I kind of love how cheap it looks as well, like something that would appear on those "worst cosplay" pages. 😛 But I get the feeling you're not meant to be taking it too seriously so all good. But yeah, loving it. haha.

I could see JILUKA getting their make up done from where I was standing and it was far more interesting to watch lol

I would love to see Sena without makeup and see what the transformation is like. He seems to love himself far too much in makeup, so just wonder if there's a reason for that. haha.

It's getting quite stale, repetitive and uninspired, and FOR THE LOVE OF GOD get rid of those goddamn annoying GazettE WUBWUBWUB synths P L E A S E!!!

Do agree it's getting a bit repetitive as well. That said, I still liked it, just not as much as I may have done if it was the first Jiluka song I ever heard. :P Also, thought it was pretty amusing how in the video Sena seems to be trying to make up for the lack of androgynous looks of the other three guys by himself. I'm surprised he didn't get the fake boobs out again. haha.

At their sold-out Oneman on the 27th, they announced that they will release their first full album in 2020. Not sure when that'll be, but that's great news!

Awesome! Know already that I'll get it. haha.

You don't have to be successful to get opportunities. It helps, but the main thing is the connections and being someone people trust and can work with. Lezard is a FWD/Riostar Records band, so could be that Lime spent a few months working on a unique concept and some demos, and then called up the company to pitch a new band idea.

Yep, essentially, you just have to be someone (doing something) that these companies think they can make money from.

I haven't seen the lyrics, but judging from what people are saying, it's kinda odd how the major key (?) music clashes against the subject matter of the song and the imagery displayed on the music video

    Because this:

lyrics are about how we (the japanese people, in the case) are living in peace and happy

Guess it's sending positive vibes, celebrating how grateful the people of today are for what those people did. Still message aside, not really digging the song all that much and the prices of both version seem way too high for what they are so probably going to skip this release, which is a shame as I do really like Kizu. : (

They posted the trailer with samples already, you can find it on their youtube page. Day by day is pretty meh but first few songs on the album seem to be much better

edit: ignore me, i was talking about dadaroma, for some reason i thought i opened dadaism#5 thread...

Haha funny you mention that as listening to the dadaism#5 samples right now. 😛

Well a Japanese girl I follow on insta who is a Dir mega fan posted a pic with merch purchases from a show and bought every single one. So guess for some they really are must have items... haha.

it's not because it's soft that it's bad.. it's just a very basic song, they can do much better

Yeah, it didn't really grab me either, which is making me even more skeptical about whether I should pay the dumb prices they want for each version. Hoping for a trailer that shows samples of all the other songs which I can make my decision on.

Yeah I don’t know. That’s why I don’t think rights are the issue here. They WERE playing pre-Chedoara stuff after Issei left, so I think it’s just a choice they’ve made as they move away from that material stylistically.

Yeah, I think you're right about them just making the choice to move away from it unfortunately, they definitely were playing old stuff after Issei left as they did when I saw them. + Further evidence of just moving away from the heavier stuff is that they don't play anything from the silent song either, which didn't have any involvement with Issei. (As far as I know, but as he'd left before that it seems unlikely)

That is incorrect in Japan. The music belongs to the label.

You guys do know that any band that signs a contract with a label regardless of genre, country etc... gives the rights of the music to the label right? Only way to not give rights to a label is to basically release everything independently, and I mean, independently. haha. (Speaking from the perspective of someone who plays in bands and has had/does currently have projects signed to labels... lol) In certain circles you do get some "labels" who are basically small groups of dudes, if more than one person at all, who just release stuff because they love it and they wont have you sign contracts or be bothered about taking musicians rights and whatnot, but this isn't MASSIVELY common.

Hopefully after this they'll release something more typical. I'd probably buy it if it were a regular release. 😕

Same, been waiting on these guys to put out a release since they first released their epic music video. haha. But yeah, online releases are not really of any interest to me, easier for them I guess but yeah, not appealing.

  12. Setlist is nice and know they seem to be trying to get away from the old stuff but am a little sad to see they've dropped all the pre-CHEDOARA stuff from the live  shows. :(

And no matter how often I see Ojama or 被害妄想 live, Im not getting tired of it. And name one other vk band with a breakdancer.

I got to admit, when I first saw mamireta I had heard a few songs, but never paid them that much attention so did piss myself when "batsu" jumps off the stage into the crowd and started hitting some quality break dancing moves. Wont forget that in a hurry. lol.

Dont forget the mv for kuroi ame xd

But for reals I guess they're hiking up their prices. The regular edition is 1500 yen for 2 tracks, all their previous singles were 3 tracks for that much with the exemption of 0 which was 2 tracks for 1000 yen. With that being said they put their music out their digitally so no one has to break their bank account If they dont wanna

Yeah they are REALLY putting prices up, which is pretty nuts. A lot of bands you can get a full show DVD for that price.... I do always prefer hard copies over digital tbh so may just swallow it and stop moaning. haha. Or.... maybe, I'll take a rain check on this release.....

To be fair, Chedoara and Rijin are on iTunes and streaming services.

I think most people are referring to the live only releases. Am guessing if they love DIMLIM that much they are buying the discs they can, I do and know a lot of you other guys on here do, just is live only that problems start to come up. haha.

  16. Funny as well as that post on instagram is basically just full of people basically saying "we love the band but when we live overseas and can't buy these CD's what more do you expect us to do? We want to hear and enjoy your music, not miss out because we can't attend a live show." lol. A common thing said on here, and I completely agree. haha.
