@Gesu Yeah, that's what my friend did. She just went by Lily, though she did take pride in being named after a demon in hell based off of the god/goddess Ishtar. 
Actually, Ishtar would be a pretty cool name, as well as other Mesopotamian deities like Marduk. I mean, technically, this is already a thing since the bible "borrowed" a lot of Mesopotamian figures lol. 

violence is a cool name imo ٩(๑`ȏ´๑)۶ its like violet but spiced up a bit
ive always loved names of different oriental deities like parvati or tiamat for example, but its unreal to call your child like that in russia because by any means it wont match with middle name and surname lol. and anyway it sounds like too much...but i believe there are cute not too common names which will be more socially appropriated, just havent thought about that yet~

@Cantavanda I actually have a friend named Lillith, but I haven't talked to her in years.

Oof. Some of those names. It reminds me of when someone apparently named their child Sephiroth. 

@platy : Otherwise there is the "offbrand" version Luciano (m) or Luciana (f) that doesn't have those 2 concerns attached and has also bonus exotic points (if you are not italian). I too like how Lucifer sounds, I named a black cat (groundbreaking, I know) that way years ago.
 
The one calling their sons Winner and Loser should be sterilized and have their sons taken away by social service. There is shitty names and then there is willingly psicologically abusing one of your kids since the start (and if it's not on purpose, you are REALLY too dumb to have kids anyway).

If I ever have a kid, it's tempting to name it Lucifer. I think it's beautiful, but 
1)I'm scared of bad luck 
2)dont want them to get bullied

My name's Victoria, but some people in my primary school could never pronounce it, so I got called "Victoya" a lot. I know they didn't mean it, but it really annoyed me. Nowadays, I just tell people my name is Vicky, but I don't mind being called Victoria.
Also, there is no "s" anywhere in my name but somehow, my high school teachers always found a way to add one to my surname. That really pissed me off.

To be fair, I can somewhat understand that. I mean, Felony might be a nice name if it didn't mean "crime". It rhymes with Melanie, so I guess it's somewhat reminiscent of a girl's name. Still, that's no excuse to give that name to your daughter! Or Genitalia, for that matter. By that, I mean you shouldn't name your daughter Genitalia, not that you shouldn't name your genitalia Felony. Name your genitalia whatever the hell you want, just don't make your children targets for ridicule.

Has it been that long already?  I remember when that came out.  A friend of mine heard it and then she got hella obsessed w Hizumi.  She printed off a bunch of his pics at the library and hung them up on her wall, then would tell me everything about them.  😂

Yeah, that's the feeling I got. I think she probably was just being friendly, but when people are too forward like that, it just intimidates me somewhat. She got the message when I started stuttering and backing away, at least.

Especially in a slavic country where any look or attention is never positive lmao
