Getting a "MAGA" hat

even just starting to wear jewelry and nail polish had me nervous/conscious lol, simply cuz i had a very mundane appearance with no makeup. biggest change appearance i made was cutting my hair short back in high school tho lol. my parents and family bugged me about it for years but now they don't care. 
 
i definitely wanna dye my hair someday, at least once~

I grew up having long hair mainly because my parents wouldn't cut my hair shorter than shoulder-length, and I always wanted to have "boy hair" (for lack of a better term). However, I thought about having short hair so much that I worried about what people at school would think since I remembered some guys making fun of a girl for having the same short hair back in middle school, and of course my family since my mom remarked about how I supposedly wouldn't "look right". However, I never got that haircut until well after my 20th birthday and the reaction was actually positive, and filled with surprise as well from my coworkers, and I've kept it ever since. I also dealt with the same predicament when it came to dyeing my hair black (although I don't dye my hair a lot cuz I'm lazy & don't want my hair to fry x))
 
Now I'm considering dyeing my hair a different color (maybe red, pink, or purple) and that's much different because I live in a rather conservative town where having colored hair is not very common...

I don't think I could even if I wanted to listen to them now. I would just think back to the shitstorm, and frankly there are many other good bands that I could listen to in their place, without getting upset so~

definitely wanna see this happening, the instrumentals done by plastic tree were so good, and plus it would be an interesting mix. if this were to happen i'm thinking the visual aspects of art-kei would be most fitting for the music.

Honestly could work pretty well, i think. the band could still focus on the visual aspect w/ costumes, pvs and just by having some visual element during lives, like backdrops or projections or whatever. Plenty of storytelling opportunities there. I'd say they could probably even still pull off the different 'character types' trope stuff that's typical in vk.
Main thing is that I dunno if there'd be enough of an overlap between 'type of person who'd play in a VK band' and 'type of person who'd play post-rock/math rock/whatever,' plus the issue of whether the scene itself would be open to such an oddity.. People did seem to react positively to those instrumental tracks Plastic Tree and Dir en grey did, but those were kind of exceptional cases within the scope of their larger discographies

@platy Fishing in any rpg is very important especially when you have to save the world   

Being able to solo it un-synced was such a satisfying fuck you to that dungeon.

It's all good. Don't be too hard on yourself. Just keep doing you, and try to consider your actions. The golden rule "Do unto others as you would like done unto yourself " never fails!

We've all made mistakes (especially on the internet, lol). No reason to jump on the "everyone hates me" train. It's a poor mindset that (whether you realize it or not) only serves to diminish your apology and negate your culpability. As was said above, take it as a learning point and it'll do you good.
 
I got into VK at a relatively young age and was, for the most part, pretty socially inept at the time. I look back on that part of my life with a fair bit of disappointment and disdain for the way that I acted and the way that I treated others, whether I realized it or not. I only reference this because much of what you're saying/doing here hits eerily close to home with the way I once was so, as someone who has maybe been in similar shoes, try to take my word for it - criticism is more often constructive than not and a community that is willing to accept you while calling you on your shit is worthwhile regardless of the fandom it's attached to.
 
More concisely said - no one hates you, dig what you dig, and don't dwell on your own mistakes - just learn, move on, and grow. 👍
