It's just so weird how Tzk would sing so many emotional songs with deep af lyrics and then churn out something this soulless. Kinda lost all of my respect for Tzk in general. He would say stuff like he would die if mejibray disbanded so I honestly thought music meant a lot to him. This is just a low-effort cash grab from their pretty boy obsessed fans.

Totally agree, I expected pop songs, but I can’t believe how amateur the song writing, mixing, lyrics, singing was. This came from two industry veterans with no shortage of budgets, it shouldn’t be this bad.....

I keep trying to tell myself this, but knowing that Tsuzuku composed relatively decent songs from MEJIBRAY (such as baby crossing, 躁と鬱と境界 (Sou to Utsu to Kyoukai), 【worms】, -XV-, EMILY, amongst others) I'm not even sure it's a valid excuse for the less-than-mediocre composition of this song. This song was just completely uninspired in a way that I didn't even think was possible. Even if Koichi composed it, it's still pretty bad lol.
 
I don't think anyone expected a VK style (I personally expected a ballad or pop song, and we got an extremely poor take on the latter). The song just sounds bad. I think that Koichi's voice has to do with my opinions on it also tbh. I can only hope that it'll grow on me (which is a bit unlikely), or their next release will be better.

+ I don't know if it's just me, but the mixing sounds really... off.
 
Even though Tsuzuku sounds incredibly soulless (with the exception of that one note at 1:47), I do have a feeling that if TZK was the only one singing, this song wouldn't be nearly as terrible. Unfortunately, he's not the only one singing, so I can't afford to ignore his tone-deaf companion! Koichi sounds so horrifically nasal I started furrowing my eyebrows and almost started grinding my teeth. With how skilled of a lyricist TZK is, the lyrics somehow makes this song even worse. It's not even what the song's about, it's just how poorly they're written (especially when put in comparison to MEJIBRAY's lyrics).

Anyway i liked little hearts because of the point cards stuff, but felt pretty akward going to this one because it was inside of an anime center where all that weird otaku used to go..... (not like bangyas are really different from otaku tho)

Like, we have a whole thread of Kisaki bullshit, and someone with that much dirt on him said “yikes, you need to go” to Satsuki. Amazing / tragic because I really liked that incarnation of TKP

I wonder why. I like the sound of "NIL UNDER RAIN" better than "MICBAM" personally, but after that one band named themselves "MEME", I think I'm fine with any band name and name changes

As for why, it's easier to pirate than go out and try to find an album. When it comes to Japanese music in particular, majority of it you won't find online or in a global website that isn't being run by corporate Hitlers. (Looking at you, iTunes.) If you do find it, it'll be limited, an outdated discography and usually with a ridiculous markup or expensive shipping, why worry 'bout all that when you can just download it and be listening to the song in 2 minutes.
 
The music label I've spent the most on is FIXT, they're indie and all their music is on Bandcamp, super easy. (Also no paying extra for FLAC which is so fucking nice.) Not only do they have music but they've also got great merch which is saddening when I try to find band shirts from JP artists I listen to I'll be fighting my way into what's effectively a small and 10 sizes below me, if I can find the merch at all. 
 
All in all, it's a segregated environment over in Japan, and to fix it they kinda need to do things on their end, and to that we can't really do much other than do our best to appreciate the small efforts they do make.
 
All in all, that feels like I'm just rehashing previous stated points.

The role this board takes in the larger scheme of things, I'd sooner have music being shared in a friendly community that's more for the focus of experiencing new things, rather than any one person trying to build themselves into a pariah. There's no elitism here, that I've seen, the general sense is that you're welcome unless you re-upload onto your shitty blogspots and only then you'll get a dodgy look. Sounds like every story I've ever heard of the London underground.

It's difficult to figure the extent of the ramifications made on the community when an upload appears here, especially like stated before when you use a popular band's release as the experiment. So Gazette is popular and an upload appears quicker, they're more popular and have more sales, more money and are most likely available to be purchased internationally. A smaller band might not have the same luxuries and so what, we shouldn't share it? Seems like some sort of weird popularity policing, of which I'm not a fan. 

I suppose we could go to certain measures to encourage the actual purchasing of cds and goods, like we already have the Japanese itunes guide, I believe? Links to international music shops, et cetera, might help a little. I imagine to some extent it's the unknown that is a problem, be it people don't know what's available or they do know but the uncertainty of trust, the worry of international shopping, delivery. (But then again, people would probably sooner infect their computer with 20 different viruses just to get the latest Dir En Grey single, so who knows.)

“U” is next to “i” and even in 2018 I struggle with touch screen keyboards. As for “bero”, I’m just going by what’s on US iTunes. 
 
I don’t like some of the heaviest tracks because they sound so much like other heavy Gazette tracks. And despite Ruki’s vocal skills, I don’t think he’s that creative with melodies or phrasing, so it’s usually his fault when a song sounds just like another Gazette song. 

can't fathom of any drama less interesting to me than ex-loop ash, but given that they toured/worked together i assume it's something similar, but Sana has fallen so far out of relevancy for tanuki that you'd likely have better luck with european sources. i'm not sure on the details but Too Wild headed by Gloria, the "label" that is/was in charge of the fanclub for Satsuki in Europe was doing shit like milking Sana fans (specifically they had to join the Satsuki fanclub to hear Sana's new song and participate in the Sana fanmeet)... and that's literally the only mention of Sana outside of MASK on tanuki
