I remember when I was so desperate to get that Laliene tape... I made posts and topics and it just seemed like impossible to ever get. Then it just showed up for sale out of nowhere. It did cost an arm and a leg, but don't lose hope that you'll ever find them!

Hello there! Some of you might know me as the guy who uploads MALICE MIZER to YT, but I'm also a passionate musician myself. Today I released my first mini-album, both digitally, and a limited physical release! My debut, self-titled track. 31:37 minutes long, constantly switching genres, styles, instrumentations and emotions. From classical, to dark ambient, to metal, to pop ballad and more. That fandom list you listed is not complete at all, it only has the most popular or major bands. But that's not even complete, since for example Versailles or the GazettE aren't even in it lol. It even contains disbanded bands!
There's for certain hundreds and maybe even thousands of bands active, just less popular. Bands that don't have money for music videos or big promotions, but still make music, limited discs and lives. There's an entire universe of unknown VK bands out there, and some have really good music.

I'm mainly looking to buy the Kasumi / 霞 demo tape by AFTER IMAGE to complete my audio collection by them.
Any flyers or photosets would be appreciated too. I already have a signed mini-album.
I'm missing three of the many VHS tapes too, AFTER IMAGE Vol. 3, Vol. 3.5, and BLACK CRYSTAL TOUR II 震災援助無料配布ビデオ (Shinsai Enjo Muryou Haifu VIDEO).
Three of the members of AFTER IMAGE would later form "AMADEUS", and I own every video and audio release, two photosets, flyers, a poster, and multiple signatures of AMADEUS, but I'm only missing the fanclub CD release 冷えた心に闘争を (Hieta kokoro ni tousou wo). I already own the cassette version. Maybe there's flyers or photosets out there I don't know of and am missing.
They're one of my favourite bands of all time, so I'd be willing to pay high sums of money to get the missing releases.
Kasumi and one of the VHS tapes was sold on this forum before, but the contact information of the buyer was lost, so I'm hoping the buyer might see this thread. ( https://www.monochrome-heaven.com/topic/40925-selling-after-imageamadeusbrain-hackerart-cubeothers )

Also I don't listen AT ALL to BAISER even though I want to give them a chance, they seem to be my style since they're similar to LAREINE and SHAZNA. Romantic kei is my favourite VK genre. I will try to listen soon. But if the band name litirally means "fucking" it's a big turn-off since the half of my country (Belgium) speaks French lol. Also I noticed there's no BAISER topic at all in this subforum so any big fans, go on your way!

IDK, I haven't really talked or looked up discussions of the name. I just think "sodmy" means "sodomy" which is probably an artistic mispelling cus they have a song called "are you sodomy?" and "white lie" single cover has KAMIJO tied up, which is a BDSM kind.
Luckily most songs don't have any sex in the lyrics, which made me to believe the band name was just for shock, not a reocurring theme.

BAISER is a VK band, it's also a French word.
The French word has two meanings.
"Je te donne un baiser" would mean I give you a kiss
A "baiser" is a "kiss".
But the verb baiser.... is quite something different.
"Je vais te baiser", means I will fuck you.
"Baiser" is "fucking".
Now my question about the band.
WHICH OF THE TWO IS IT??
Have they said it publicly?
Baiser is quite the romantic VK wave band like LAREINE and SHANA, so kissing would be logical in that way.
But VK loves shocking, and the most romantic innocent KAMIJO made a band called "New Sodmy", referencing this extreme sex act, sodomy.
So it's a possibility they meant the sex to shock and provoke.
Anyone can help me out?

I tried using my phone, different broswers, restarting, clearing all history, cookies and cache, using a different internet (school internet), and nothing worked.
But suddenly today it went back!

ILLUMINATI by MALICE MIZER is about bloody BDSM sex rituals. It was very shocking and disturbing for 1998. But bands now put the boundaries higher and higher, but still, it holds up today as a real shocker, especially if you come from songs like au revoir or even Bel air without knowing what to expect lol.
