I guess they are *finally* leaving "pop" stuff and following ,for instance, One Ok Rock's trails? (theme days always meant some kind of departure from current style in vk bands' case, amirite?) No seriously Kaye might be right about this + LOL @ half-naked promo-pic.

LOL good job dude Anyways, it's pretty seldom from my part to make conclusions out of looks but when will they go pop punk? They look like they are ready to riot against...something? Nii and Ryu, to rehab, NOW.
  3. Pretsy

Wasn't Gekkou that same SE from 2007 gig? Waiting for 2012, guess they will embrace SHINE-era style (since Ryuichi's vocals are not that low anymore)
  4. a simple start: Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin IV (rock) Legendary album that shaped rock music into the genre that we know, like and play nowadays. Has also the essential rock hits like Black Dog for instance. Page's guitars shine here alot too, and bass gets some attention. But let's not forget the drums, too Placebo - Placebo (britpop/alternative rock) Feel the power of Molko's wacky vocals, strong bass and punky beats! Lots of variety, hardcore stuff, deep lyrics...I kinda like the fact that they combined various genres in this. My Chemical Romance - I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love (Post-hardcore) I would have picked Three Cheers but hey, this has same upsides (even more than TCfSR) like Placebo's s/t Alice in Chains - Dirt (grunge) Better than Nevermind, why? This one is more varied than Nirvana's early stuff + Layne's vocals are better suited for grunge...than Kurt, whose vocals are more reminiscent of post-punk. Faith No More - Angel Dust (experimental rock) Classic (and legendary) album by the most talented gentlemen in experimental / art scene, hmm. It's one hell of a trip, both with light and dark sides. Korn - Korn (nu-metal) I would have picked Deftones but Korn's s/t is pretty much exciting imo with all it's creepiness...and Silveria's awesome drums. The last song sums up all the elements needed in one perfect nu-metal song...it's gotta make you shit bricks. Mr. Bungle - Disco Volante (experimental metal) Have you ever wanted to experience a meth trip without meth? Try this. Some people might think otherwise, but play that album cd and just sit down, and listen. You will be entranced with all that stuff. and finally, a last piece of cake *drum roll* *watch out for spoilers* (ps. Zess, I will post this avec spoiler since it might cause some commotion here....)
  5. Awesome pics! (how come I never saw that "iconic" pic?) and of course, awesome news!

Is it me or are their new pvs... richer in terms of visuals/plot than their old ones? Anyways, sounds better than L'Oiseau Bleu imo Tsunehito's doing it with style

Too late for me to comment on this but I think it sounds nice! Some sort of Lorelei -pop twist version- (I had a dream about Girugamesh after that...why?!!) But anyways, are there any proper reasons for disbandment? There are some rumours about Aggy's "spiritual ventures" that somehow affected his band's career...

mxLMlFmmBvw You're talking about this one right?

Yoshiki made it all possible haha (lucky bastards tbqh, first they were staying under the wing of Yoshiki for awhile, and then later got DT's assistance)

    1) 5th anniversary of 13's Reborn (released in October 2006, amirite?) 2) 13th single (as nostalgia said), which will MOST PROBABLY include that future-song = new single with some 13's reborn remakes in it? Dunno what to think about this, I am still supporting them (even though I didn't like GO that much...it had some good songs but oh god how generic it was) I liked that new song ("Future") sample anyways, I kinda missed solo/solo-ish parts in giru's music. Edit: Go's better than Now imho Edit: I think 13th single would become their first *major* release (they are still in danger crue, aren't they?)
  11. Already aiming to the university of technology...(finns, what is TKK in english? Geez man those terms suck) Architectural studies (designer stuff would be nice too!)

I guess he doesn't need any introduction here...are there actually any Kaya-related topics here in artist section? If there are, then please merge this post with that one... Anyways, here's a funny Tokyo Decadence video feat. topless...and drunken Kaya (nsfw spoiler)

Didn't Kyo have umm...Child Prey-ish appearance (with make-up, yes) during one of their recent lives?* I know this is irrelevant but that might give a clue about their relation to visuals. *not sure if this is a rumor but you can help me!

Sounds like a throwaway track of I BELIEVE IN ME But yeah, it's still lynch. as X-Marc said Better than Deathgaze's new one /sorry I had to say it.
  16. Pretsy

What an oddity there are basically no ballads in sight guess they are considering a move to "heavier" side?
  17. Wait what xD from old school vk to THIS? Sounds cool tho.
  18. Pretsy

My version Ripoffs aside, b-sides were killjoys of this single Rosario's verse parts (kinda wondering if there will be backvocals for that in live) were cool btw.
  19. Pretsy

    Legal trolling in MH? Wow.
  20. Pretsy

^ damnit Jigsaw, I forgot him too Xp_XMPnwGvg dat bass riff 9FTyN8pFH3I YYDK4j2k-sI /fanboy mode off Btw, Mucc's and A9's bassists (with their solos and basslines) are worth mentioning too!
  21. Pretsy

Ichigo 100% (a friend asked me to watch the whole series lol) Kinda perverse but yeah, it was hell lot of fun for me!
  22. Pretsy

Wooah, church boats. (i mean like literally, not in innuendo-ish way) Excited!
  23. Pretsy

^ LOL IRL It was Good Luck My Way btw (the previous single) They are equal to me, both with their upsides (the only upside of X X X was "the new genre") and downsides (both have crappy b-sides)

Now that I have enough free-time in my hands, I can freely review/re-review latest vk releases So, I haven't listened that much to OZ, perhaps only some tracks off Versus and Detox - briefly put, I am not a fan of this band - so this is probably going to be one hell of an experience for me! 1. Reverse - I expected some late-era D'espa but wow, there were actually no industrial influences to be heard! A nice hard rock song with some Detox-ish parts, which doesn't seem to follow typical "verse-chorus-verse-breakdown-chorus" - formula. Natsuki's voice seems to bug me in verses, but yeah, this will get many spins from me for awhile 9/10 2. Unseal - imagine if Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge had a metal song with awesome bending-breakdown-solo-part, which is oddly enough, quite untypical for this band - you will get this. Not fond of Natsuki's voice tho.ps. I can't hear anything related to D here, sry peace! 9/10 3. Ecdysis - decent ballad with forced chorus parts, gets eventually better during U2-ish spiccato and some solo jamming in the background. Definitely a downside of this single, but not bad enough to make people wanna ~zzzz~ though! 7/10 Overall: a surprising release by OZ! (without "-" - thingies, a correct tag amirite?) Another vk band of 2011 which is worth following. ~8,5/10
