Yeah, I was surprised there weren't more songs like their singles on it. It also seemed like there were a lot of instrumentals? I could be misremembering 

The problem,in my opinion,is the fact that it sounds way more poppy,as if they wanted to stay mainstream , abandoning almost completely that dark and satanic atmosphere from the first materials.only Rats and Faith are kinda good tracks

I enjoyed the album, can't say I loved it the same as Meliora, but it's good.

They were always quite poppy. The satanic atmosphere were always just sprinkles and all their albums have their "heavier" songs and the light ones.

Also, it had two 5+ minutes instrumentals and an intro track. Meliora had two 1 minute interludes, so it's quite similar.
