I caved in to the hype and bought Assassin's Creed Origins. I'd been reading people's impressions and seeing their screenshots/gifs on another forum, and just got more and more excited to play it. I was planning to wait for Black Friday sale, but on Friday night, Sony e-mailed me a 20% coupon for PSN store...
 
.. it's pretty sad that I got 20% off, evaded sales tax because it was digital, and STILL HAD TO PAY $64.
(At regular price, with sales tax, it would've cost $90.39. Such is Canadian life)
 
ANYWAY, wow, what a great game. It's like playing a dumber Witcher 3, but in a way better setting, with a more likable character, with stealth archery and the ability to climb almost anything. I climbed up a huge obelisk for no particular reason (there was only bird shit at the top). I climbed up one of the pyramids of Giza and got an amazing view of Egypt. The world building and the actions of random NPCs are amazing. I was in a temple for some side quest and noticed a dog hanging out with a family. First dog I'd seen in the game. After running around for a bit, I heard the dog barking like crazy. I was like WTF shut up dog. I went to see it and it was actually chasing a random cat that had wandered into the temple. Holy shit. I could write a lot more about this kind of stuff but getting lazy now.
 
Sure it still has that Ubisoft open world jank. At some point I'll probably get tired of side-questing, but that happened with Witcher too. I started on Normal difficulty, and while it was manageable, it wasn't super *fun* for me, so I dropped it to Easy. I'm enjoying headshotting fools with my bow (thank you, aim assist), and wrecking them in melee if they spot me. So satisfying. (well, it's maybe a little too easy, but that's better than being a little too hard) I will criticize the lack of dismemberment, though. I'm slicing this dude in the face with a khopesh (sickle sword), as part of the standard execution animation, so WHY ISN'T HIS HEAD FLYING OFF?
 

I really love that his idle animation is his pet eagle landing on his arm. And look how pretty this area is.
 
My favourite gameplay moment so far: Some idiot guard was chasing me. I climbed up a ladder and there was a ballista at the top. I got on it and aimed for the top of the ladder. As the guard reached the top, I fired it into his face and sent his dumbass flying. It was just like in my Game of Thrones.

The guitarist is super cute.

I hate doing group projects with people who are so damn unmotivated with it and don't care about it at all. I started doing my part of it last week and got it fully finished a couple of days ago and everytime I try asking the others if they've gotten anything done yet I either get no answer at all or a "yeah I've thought about it a bit but haven't actually done anything." And the deadline for it is tomorrow. Amazing.
 

I'm so tired I feel sick. I'm also hungry but even just thinking about eating something makes me nauseous. Why oh why do I always think that staying up until 5am and waking up at 8am is such a good idea though I know I'll feel like shit the whole day then.

@chocobuzzDamn I can't remember but he was either the same height as me or shorter.... I think shorter and I'm 173cm ish give or take haha
 
When they first came on stage I was like wow they are so tall but obviously they look taller because they are on stage haha. If I turned around to see him behind me I really could of been more accurate though
 
I also want to add that he was the shortest of the 3 I think.... But I was really trying to look past him to Aru hahahahahahahaha. But we made eye contact soooo muchhhhh

@YukimotoThanks for making this topic and telling about your live experience ^^ It sounded like a very fun and successful show. I wish I had a chance to see them live some day too.
I have one question that I've wanted to ask someone who's seen them live although it's a bit of a stupid question... XD How tall would you say Ryo is? he looks really short in all the pictures I've seen, so I've just been wondering about it... haha.

UGH So biased but my favorite bandmen is Aru! God I was just in love when he came out to the stage haha but he's so far in the back so I couldn't really see him just all Ryo haha. Anywho

So I have been to a few lives but not so many, I mean I've only seen the Gazette twice, once here and in America and now Virge and I would have to say Virge did it better. I don't know if it was because it was such a small live and everything felt so intimate but like the ambiance from start to finish was just spectacular. I guess the only thing that my friend and I did notice was that the songs seemed to run into each other and more often then not we thought to ourselves like wait are they replaying that one song from before or is this different.... But with all the dancing and headbanging there was really no time for talking haha. 
 
They started it off with the full New PV of 夜想 (Yasou) where everyone bent down so everyone could see the screen and we watched the full PV which had to be about 5 mins long if I remember it correctly and it was really goooooooood. The new look and the scenery was just amazing and I was nodding my head from start to finish, obviously the only one besides one other guy because the girls only take part in hand gestures and so forth and don't seem like they are really feeling the music? is what I was thinking because swaying for me is really feeling it and not being able to control your body.... ) Anywho side rant over. The PV was amazing and my friend and I was in awe and right after that the Live started and we stood up and went for it.
 
I'm not going to give a play by play of what was done in each different song but more the things that surprised me about going to my first small live, probably ever. Starting off I mean the headbanging and so forth is probably the easiest thing you can probably get right without messing up only being to someones live once but the hand movements I had to just watch and every once in a while the fist pump came up and I could easily do that so I did haha. There was parts where we moshed to the left and right ( I swear their was a different name for it but yeah) That was pretty fun and we did it for a long time during 二枚舌 (Nimaijita) where Ryo got off stage to have people sing in his mic and to move with us. He was right behind me for sometime so I don't know what he was doing because I was trying not to pay him to much mind but I saw the everyone looking right behind me so who knows if he was riding my backpack or not lol. Then he tried to get back on stage but Sizuki kicked him back in the crowd so he stayed for a bit longer and then got back on stage to end the song.
 
I really think the highlight of the night was Akai Dress it stood out a lot more than the other songs to me and with the red light blazing behind them I was really feeling it, probably my new favorite by them , I think. They they ended the night after their last song and told us thank you for coming and to follow them.
 
All in all it was a great night and it got my friend and I excited to go take on another live soon so who knows where will be next but yeah. If you guys haven't listened to them yet I would check them out they are good and want to say even better live!

I myself don't sadly own any pets (mainly because I don't have the time and money, otherwise I'd probably already have bought myself a horse T.T), but my brother has two cute little snakes.

I'm super hyped for it! So hyped that I actually preordered the deluxe edition of it though I promised myself that I wouldn't... oops.
I've really enjoyed the previous AC games and though they've indeed made some changes to this one I'm pretty sure I'll still enjoy it a lot. At least from what the trailers and gameplay videos have shown the mechanics seem still good.
Also the setting is one thing that's gotten me really excited. I can't think of many games that would've been set in Egypt, so it's interesting to see how it'll turn out.

I usually like creative and weird ways to promote new releases but I feel like this is already a bit too much. This kind of a shitty way gets attention, sure, but definitely not very positive attention...

I'm always trying to save as much money as possible so I mostly only buy the cheapest kinds of groceries I can find. There's usually not that much quality difference between some cheap brands and expensive brands in some basic grocery things anyway, so it's always been fine. But today I made a huge mistake and bought the cheapest coffee I could find in our local supermarket.
 
This coffee is so bad it only tastes like sadness.

I have a pretty huge folder dedicated for a couple of my favorite bands. I try to save all photoshoots and other pictures of them and also all their music videos/live videos/whatever videos I can find of them. And to be extremely sure I'll never lose all this material I've saved them on my desktop, on my laptop and on an external harddrive... And most of the photos are on my phone, too. I just really don't wanna lose all this stuff.
