  1. I can somewhat play the Taishogoto part to Futari wa Otona ni Narimashita by Guruguru Eigakan if that's what you mean by concert Koto player I can also air Koto the Koto parts to quite a few Memento Mori songs and Bunentari by Guruguru Eigakan
  2. Both in general sound quite inspired by Tatsurou from Mucc vocal-wise, so it could go either way. Though it would be interesting if this was a side project of Hiduki's.
  3. Let's hope it still has the awesomeness Sex Android had. I trust that Shin will write really good guitar parts.
  4. Sounds really good. I can't wait for the full PV
  5. Anything is better than PSC (Well, maybe except for Shimizuya and Ains)
  6. I just realised the organ samples in Madeth Gray'll's "Lucifer" are probably actually accordion samples (either that or they chose "reed organ", AKA basically a giant, bellowless accordion, sample)

    1. The Moon

      The Moon

accordions have a funny shape x would be a riot to play one x

Russian Button Accordions are some of the weirdest to play because the buttons are placed based on chords and such.

  7. Preview sounds really nice. I can't wait to see their other stuff
  8. That moment when half of the songs you write are literally excuses to cover other songs.

Yeah, this is how bands like Grieva are formed lol

  9. Me: I hate synths in Vkei.

Also me: *Enjoys Puella, Taiheiyou Belt and Metronome*

also me: enjoys old skewl vk & some cheap kei

(also if u wanna hear some badass synths...)

      That's actually pretty cool.

If you want old school, cheap kei and synths all in one, Puella is the way to go. They were on the Soleil label, and had 3 members. The vocalist eventually left and was replaced by, of all people, a Female, named Yura. But she eventually left too (I think) and they just preformed with prerecorded vocals until they disbanded.

Zetumei. That's the name of an Akaku Somatta Kiouku (Formerly known as A.S.K), but that isn't an English name
  11. Tips for selling your low-end Shamisen:

Demonstrating it with the first two strings out of tune doesn't get you far.

      Wow, that is bad.

  12. I wonder if the QR code is functional
  13. I predict the next Mamireta single will have one song where Batsu just begins rapping. I mean, they're already pretty Nu Metal and Batsu break dances.

  14. I want to like the new GazettE song, but I just can't bring myself to it. It just feels like every other current vkei song out there. Metalcore with light synths.

IDK, maybe I just am too picky, have shit taste, or just am too bored with music atm.

I mean, I'm definitely not in the right mood for that kind of song. I've mostly been really craving Kuroyuri, but I've burnt myself out on all they currently have, and the closest sounding band to them I can think off of the top of my head is Mamireta, but their new single kinda bored me too.

30,000 Yen? Yoshiki, you ok? Have you gone the way of Nicholas Cage? Are you broke? You need help, bud?
  16. So far, the new Mamireta single is good, but I feel like there is something missing. I can't exactly pin point it, but I feel like something in the composition could be added in to make it feel complete.

  17. I know that March 8th is probably over in Japan, but Happy America Time Birthday!

      I love you too, onii-chan!

Japanese tends to be very context specific, so it really depends on the context. There is also pitch accent, which can help differentiate words that normally sound the same, but that really varies based on dialect.

I agree so much. Though, I feel the mixing on this is much better than the mixing on 悲哀囀ル調べ (or at least the mixing on the song Farwell, as I haven't checked out the other songs on it). The mixing on Farewell was 90% treble. Like... I know Kiwamu isn't the best producer, but I at least expect him to eq some midrange and/or bass
  20. Question for La'Mule experts:

Do the demo tape versions of Mind Control and Fantasy differ from their respective CD releases? If so, how?

  21. The B-Sides are better than I expected, but I still feel like they could've done much better.
  22. Himeaimichu

All of Saki's bands (Cuartet, Ivys, The actless theatre, definitely Outrage as that lasted like only 6 months? Hell, even Kar+te=zyanose) Raddock Geno Curse/Mareli Missalina Rei Gill'e Cadith, although they weren't THAT short lived. And Daisuke to Kuro Injatachi... yeah that's probably the saddest example
  23. Himeaimichu

Yeah, Mei with more traditional instruments would be fucking amazing. He should channel more of the early 2000's Vkei influences we've been seeing in Kuroyuri's recent content. The "whine vocals" he sometimes does really reminds me of Daisuke from Kagerou, and the speaking in the song Hakkyou no Karte remind me of what Karuna from Gill'e Cadith would do.
