Kiyoharu is God

Gastunk announced yesterday at the end of their very first online streaming concert 'Dead Fever' that they will be releasing a new album in 2021. This will be the first proper album since 1988's Mother. After disbanding in 1988 until their 2006 reunion concert gigs, they only performed twice, once in 1992 in memory of Ghoul's Masami and once in memory of X's hide in 1999. Since 2010 they have been regularly performing one off gigs and at events.

This exciting new announcement comes after a lineup change earlier this year with drummer Kei (who is the drummer of Tatsu's Deadrocks project) taking over for Pazz who left last year after being with Gastunk since 1987.

Gastunk's very first online streaming concert 'Dead Fever' will be available for purchased viewing until Wednesday September 30th.

9mm Parabellum Bullet's first tribute album「CHAOSMOLOGY」and 11th single（TITLE UNDECIDED）will be released on September 9th. The tribute album will come with two discs. The first disc will feature covers with vocals. The second disc will be an instrumental disc  of the covers. So far no participating bands nor a track list have been revealed.

Samples have been released. チャラン・ポ・ランタン cover seems to be the most interesting of the vocal covers in terms of experimentation.

If you don't like Kiyoharu just leave it at that. Don't be so melodramatic about it.  You're not going to run into him. He doesn't hang around trash yards.

So the tracklist/bands involved here is actually dope as fuck. Despite the fact that their best material was released over a decade ago, I'm actually legit looking forward to this. Guaranteed to be some interesting renditions of their songs.

Last year it was announced that Silver-Rose will make his comeback, however not with the old line-up.
Vocalist YOWMAY restarted the band with 4 new members.

Actually the band should restarted this year with a nice tour around Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka, sadly due covid-19 this tour plan has moved to next year.
Yet the 2nd live of the band will be (hopefully) on August 1st. 
 

 
And maybe an interesting thing is... even if 99% of their fanbase see them as Visual Kei, they still refuse to call themselves Visual Kei.
