I think a little bit could be okay, but that 'little bit' will probably explode given the right amount of attention. I think it does stem from insecurities often within the person themselves that they're too afraid/unwilling to face or communicate to their partner. I've seen it give way to too many toxic things in a relationship and I also I come from a culture where jealousy and its bffs (paranoia, control and abuse) are heavily normalised as 'it just shows your partner cares' so I'm strongly repulsed by it  
 
  If you are in a relationship where communication is open and healthy I don't think jealousy will show up and if it does it wouldn't get in the way of anything.  If I were to argue pro-jealousy... well, in healthy doses it can keep people on their toes e.g 'I'll do my best to be a good partner so that we can keep our love alive and my partner won't feel the need to look for something outside the relationship'.
 
Communication goes a long way in feeling secure in a relationship (feeling secure = little to no room for jealousy)
 
TL;DR it's a deal breaker for me

Correction is love, but so many people these days are so spiritually weak and have such fragile egos that they cannot tell the difference between when someone is trying to help them and when someone is genuinely attacking them. Some people even confuse me speaking with authority as me speaking "harshly". smh

I've only been on this earth a short 33 years, but so much has changed since I was a kid. I mean, shit...i'm just a nerdy-ass weeb - never been your stereotypical "tough guy" or thug type, but I never been a bitch either. So it's definitely a curious thing to witness the rampant lack of heart I'm seeing today.

ALCYON is a Nagoya (名古屋) based visual kei band who formed in December 2017, and started activity in July 2018. They typically focus on heavy-toned music which contrasts beautifully against the high voice of vocalist Sera.
They celebrate their second anniversary this July at Nagoya Fits ALL. Read on to learn about their two years of activity so far.
 
It's a band who we somehow never really notice, however their music isn't bad at all and since last month we also can enjoy their music via digital platforms!

If you're like me, you probably loathe the sound of Engrish in Japanese music and wonder why the Japanese would rather forsake their own beautiful language in exchange for absolutely butchering (in most cases) another. Others may find it comedic or even endearing.
 
HOWEVER. This thread isn't about the actual lyrics (we have threads for that). This thread is about songs that still sound great, despite being entirely (or almost entirely) in Engrish.
 
What songs do you think still kick ass despite being in Engrrrish?
 
 

As you get older you change and so do the things you like. Once upon a time I used to watch harem/ecchi anime and listen to the gazette after. Now there’s one of those things I wouldn’t touch if my life depended on it. So I think it’s only normal for people to let go of something they got into as teenagers. I also think that being unwillingly to explore other music will make you go off vk faster.
 
In my later teen years I went off vk completely for about a year or two, I was just too busy to be involved with the scene, even after I came back to it I still had a year where I went in a deep search to expand my musical horizons. Now things have levelled off and I can move between western music, pop, Kpop, Vkei and everything in between. Another factor that makes people drop off: this scene requires time investment and the older you get the harder it is to make that investment. As your favourite bands die, the only way to keep interest going is by discovering new things in the scene, be it older bands you didn’t know or newer bands. Don’t forget, nowadays the average teen’s attention span is less than a goldfish’s so they’ll move to the next thing that makes them horny without a second thought and considering kpop merch is not only cheaper, but constantly being pumped out and more readily available than vk chekkis will ever be I can’t blame people for not sticking with vk for long. Kpop community is more active and widespread which does a lot to stimulate the senses.
 
What keeps me coming back to vkei is the angst and artistic side of it all. You just can’t find it anywhere else, even if it is fake lol. I don’t know if I’ll ever let go of it completely, like Dispo said I’m in it for the long haul.
 
 

Finished Dorohedoro a while back, it was really fun and exciting. Loved the whole crazy-ass vibe and the creative art style most of all.
 
Just started The Promised Neverland and it's reaaaally tense, I love it! I'm only 3 episodes in, but I predict I'll watch all of it by tomorrow night, lol. Recommended for thriller/horror fans for sure.

Hi , Well it's not my first intro to a forum but...I'm kindda new around here (i was a lurker for sometime hahaha.) my history is pretty far simple, I was away from VK scene (specially of the Eroguro) for some years because I moved into metal and metalcore as an 'vocalist' in a band i was into before if we can call it that way haha I was working doing reviews for some bands of different metal genre too, so I'm here coming back to the ship many years after, haha, due to the Quarantine and some professional things, I decided to immerse again into the VK and stuff like that so.. that's it, just trying to join again & recover all the missing time since i leaved this awesome world.
 
bands that I use to hear was: XJAPAN, Plastic Tree, deadman, VAMPS, Crossfaith, Dir En Grey, BUCK-TICK, HYDE, Versailles, The GazettE, NIGHTMARE, Nocturnal Bloodlust, Yousei Teikoku..and many others, i used to sing a lot all of them every single day before leaving the VK...
Recently I'm hearing bands like Sacrifice, DEVILOOF, ViViD, CLOWN or DIMLIM and they call my attention, so I'm open to any suggestion or band recommendation you cans say to me.
