    Absolutely love, because yes, AESTHETIC.

I was trying to explain my love for 90s vkei demo tapes and it ended up with conclusion that the main point of this love is nostalgic vibes.

    This. +1

Lo-fi could sound cool in some bands, but for the bunch of guys that just released one poor song I don't think they had a better choice, and still there are some good only-songs by bands that surely didn't exist at all. I mean, I take lo-fi as a natural thing in vk. The strange one is hi-fi lol

  2. Greetings to all Kiryu fans out there! ...And to the others too, obviously.

Well, I still remember when, in the past days of antiquity, those old years of ancient times, I happened to see a preview of a full PV of Another Side (アナザーサイド), literally on Youtube, by this strange band of kisses, alter-egos and maybe music.  Of course, nothing except for a live PV named Another Side turned out, a last-hour, budget mass of images of them playing the song in gigs. Really guys?

Now, as I know there are some people in this forum who knows too much to be alive, I'd like to ask for any info about that preview.

    Spoiler

    Drama.-

The full PV was going to be released anytime soon after the preview. I saw it a bunch of times because I do like the song, but as seconds passed, as well as hours, days, weeks, months and --shamefully-- years, nothing did just appeared out of it, and the preview was eventually was deleted. It featured the members playing in some kind of "natural" pool of water and it'd be a great full PV of a nice song.

I made some searching over the years but never found out anything about the preview (considering I don't understand Japanese).

I'm weary, and really want to sleep at least one night after all those years of not knowing what just happend.

    Thank you in advance.

The full list of bands appearing throughout the 4-day event has been posted on the event's new Twitter account! A website is also said to be under development.

(I'll post the latest additions in text form later...)

    ESur0IpU0AE4dmU?format=jpg&name=900x900

    ESur0JlUYAAxQ6Q?format=jpg&name=900x900

    ESur0JoUMAA8kM_?format=jpg&name=900x900

    ESur0IpUUAEtRMU?format=jpg&name=900x900

And of course I'm going to be in my country that day without going to this legendary gig in Japan, just living to tell this sad story every single day, for the rest of my entire existence, unable to live it down and blaming everything and everybody on for this shame of mine. Thank you guys.

I believe this is was 100% necessary name change to be understood better as a band.

First the original name was just Omega, some might think this is better just because its simple, rolls of the tongue easily and is a fairly common word used for cool names. BUT you didn't know anything else about them because it was just too short, making you have to LISTEN to their sound to know what they are about.

Now lets see the new name additions "heretic of revolution" by only this addition you already know they are not generic and will change shit up, my only question here is: isn't a revolution already heretic most times? if this is redundant or not it is a point of future discussions.

The last addition was the most important because now you know they from the universe in general, not like the other "planet-earth-only" bands. Knowing this, one have to ask: where does each band member come from?

One member might come from jupiter while another member might try to make people aware of the 2006 demotion of Pluto from planet to dwarf planet, just because "its was not big enough" according to their standards, the question where is the line drawn, one day people might start not considering other people actual people just because they are not big enough??? now you see why this should be discussed.

Now you guys are aware of how deep this name change is, no nedd to thank me for pointing it I thank you for reading until this point.

    This.

I just see all of it coming. It was obvious.

I hope that they don't disband next month.

  5. [[ Mod: I don't know exacly where to put this topic, because it's a request for drama lol ]]

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.

In this occasion I'd like to gather all about this band's awful story. Let's make a collection of this so dramatic drama.

I still can't believe one of my first favorite bands underwent at least an absolutely disturbing change of members and styles (etc) from the leaving of Ryohei in 2006, which, to me, was a real shame and kept me out of the loop.

That's one of the reasons I crave this drama so much now and want to learn your knowing of it, considering there are some sources, rumors and many reading material on internet as always.

So what you know about it?

    -

    Just to begin ::

Aoi in his blog in 2010:

    "Dear all,

Firstly, I'm sorry that this message comes late.
I had a vague understanding of them, but I couldn't coherently grasp my feelings at reading the others' announcements,
so I couldn't put them into words. I just cried and cried. [...]"

I have been thinking a lot about why the Visual Kei "trend" outside of Japan faded, just like the emo/scene kid trend did.

I was following them only because I thought they were the emo/scene kid trend. Now this. Well.

To help think about how to better communicate this, I clicked shuffle play based on the tag 'visual kei' in my library. Sure enough, a Due le Quartz song comes up

🤣😭  That sounded like the most dramatic scene of some tragic story

    -

Not that visual kei isn't popular... visual-keing for making a living and just for fun isn't quite a lasting, down-to-earth thing, you know.

  10. A friend of mine who went to a LM.C gig in Chile and meet them (VIP), said that they were cold, distant and you can't even handshake them. Garbage people with big egos, the super fake vk stars. One of the reason I don't like listening to them that much now.

    1. Is the behavior displayed in these photos, mainly of the band, justified in anyway?

    2. Should bands be more appreciative to fans that payed to see them?

    3. Should artists be forced to be part of fan events against their will?

    4. Have you met a band in person in a situation like this? if so, was it awkward or was the band chill?

    5. Were there any cringey fans at your show?

    1. No, it isn't because without fans they'd possible be actual nobodies, currently.

    2. Yes, of course. The one who said that they don't owe anything to fans...

    3. No, they shouldn't.

    4. No, I haven't.

    5. What do you mean with "your show"? lol
