I am sorry, I usually prefer to stay out of issues like this, but its a shame to see so many people still think this way.

Illegal downloading of music is incredibly harmful to bands and the industry as a whole.
if i could only show to people not only the effort, but also the cost that goes into making a single let along a album, it would be shocking to some.
I know one musician who ate only curry and ramen for over a month because every cent of money he made from his normal job was spent of making a cd to release.

I know another musician who under similar circumstances lost 8kgs from  not eating correctly.

bands disband, loose pushes from their labels, all of those kind of bands things that people get upset about because they don't sell well.

many bands are starting to become more accessible now, selling on online webshops and in some cases putting their music on itunes or other similar legal download sites.

please support bands, if you like their music, buy it!
show them that you appreciate the effort and sacrifices they made to make that music you like.

and as for bands "getting world tours etc because of illegal downloading" 
there are other ways, instead of uploading/downloading a entire song, just put a 40 second sample online for people to listen to.
you can promote a band you like without taking away one of their earning revenues.

I will count the stick tonight, but is possible I plan on restocking after the one man

I can't talk for all disbanded bands.

but in the case of CD's and other merchandise of the band BLAZE (disbanded) on the V STAR webshop.

The money goes to the members still.

The final details are being ironed out.

It's usually a thank you gift to the fans who continue to support them and come to their concerts.

its also a incentive for fans to come to their lives.

unfortunately it's not a good situation for international fans who, even if they want to support the bands and regularly attend concerts,  are unable to do so.

so to combat this, I am thinking about store limited releases

i have been in a video and I have also filmed a model to be in another music video

if both cases faces were hiding for various reasons.

The odd moment when it happens....

I will need to check with them about this, usually bands choose to make live limited for a reasons, its the fans that then sell them.
but perhaps at the very least we might be able to organize shop limited cds

and although I don't necessarily condone it, I don't encourage ripping and uploading.

V STAR PROMOTIONs goal is to support bands and give to fans by trying to make things more legally accessible.

at the moment any profit we make (if it even happens) would go directly into providing more services for the international fan community

at the moment we want to atleast break even (any profit would be amazing) so we can continue to provide more and more different things and services for the community.

Outside of the business both members of V STAR have full time jobs, and I myself have already sunk a sizeble amount of my own money into this business.

so although as a business person I would be lying to say I wouldent be happy to see a profit, but at the moment I want to atleast break even.

Please keep in mind that at the very least we need to try to cover the cost of actually running the webshop.

I am sorry, although we want to provide as much as possible for the community, we need to break even or as a business, only loosing money we will need to close our operations really quickly.

please keep in mind that some bands sell towels for 2000yen.

in cases like that I can not offer a lower price.

so it really does highly depend on the original price of the merchandise.

we will also look into goals and rewards to thank frequent and loyal customers

I cant say for sure at the moment, it will depend on the original price of the product, the cost of shipping and the cost of running the webshop.

but I can assure you that our aim is not to overcharge.

we plan to ave a selection of different types of band merchandise, including cheki.

we also aim to offer affordable prices.
