My old one was admittedly pretty obvious 😕 sorry if I took any time out of your day with this to everyone who replied, I was just worried cuz I've never got anything like this before. I actually copied/pasted a couple sentences from the email I was sent into Google and a lot of other people got the exact same thing and it turned out to be nowt. False alarm, everyone! Sorry again.

Yea, none of the emails are supposed to be the same, which makes them more convincing. They use a bunch of different boilerplates w/ varying information. 
 
Since they came up on haveibeenpwned, start changing your passwords and implement 2FA now. Otherwise, you can pretty much ignore the email, they can't touch your PC. 

yeah pretty much what colorful said. your PC should be safe. if they had access to your pc, it'd be wiser to encrypt your files and ask you for money to get the decryption key. don't fall for that bc once paid they will ask for more bc you are willing to pay them. change your passwords and implement 2fa if possible. you can use different prefixes/suffixes to make a password unique for different accounts if it's difficult to remember.

Christ, all this sounds a bit excessive for my tiny mind. Like... I can get why you'd use one or two or six, but I'd rather hold on to my money and spend a few extra seconds opening/closing tabs.

Budget gamers use them for the real estate across 2-10 monitors, but 1-2 ultra-wide monitors will be a better option for them. Streamers need constant feed from multiple browsers, so more monitors aid in that too.
 
For work, it's necessary to have 2-3 monitors up so you can split windows for email, chats within the company, word/excel docs, and possibly remote into another PC (if you're in IT), so that way you don't have to minimize one window to open another window.
 
Personally I enjoy the way Apple's MacOS operates on a laptop (swipe the track pad left-right to switch between windows) because it's like having multiple monitors in one lol.

like I said before, the most common use for me is video game on one, music/tv show on the other and a browser on the third? if I have to work from home, I could use the 4th one for a remote connection to the office  
 
trust me, if you've tried in for a while you'd understand. I've converted two of my co-workers to a multiple monitor-setup
