ALICE IN MENSWEAR/ex.La'cryma Christi Gt.KOJI has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer. They have cancelled all performances until a surgery can be done to remove the tumor from his throat.

日頃からALICE IN MENSWEARの応援ありがとうございます。
２ヶ月ほど前からギターKOJIが体に異変を感じ、検査しましたところ食道に腫瘍が見つかり、さらに詳しい検査を行った結果「食道ガン」であるという診断が出ました。
幸い転移は見つからなかったため、まずは抗ガン剤治療にて腫瘍を小さくし、状況を見極め手術する運びとなりました。
治療とリハビリに専念させて頂くため、現在予定されていましたライブ、イベント等は一度全て中止させて頂き、回復を果たしてから改めて仕切り直しをさせて頂きます。
この度はご心配をおかけいたしますが、本人は落ち込む事なく前向きに病気と向き合っておりますので、ファンの皆様も彼を信じて応援して頂ければ幸いです。
尚、8/21の赤羽ReNY公演の払い戻し等の詳細につきましては近日中に告知いたしますので、今しばらくお待ちください。

突然の発表で驚かせてしまい申し訳ありません。
5月の末くらいから物を飲み込む時に飲み込みにくくなるという違和感を感じ、すぐに病院に行き、検査を繰り返して来ました。
飲み込む時に水を一緒に飲まないと胸でつっかえるというような感じで、このような症状は「食道ガン」か「逆流性食道炎」の可能性があるとの診断でした。
その後胃カメラの診察で食道ガンである事が発覚し、現在は設備の整った大きな病院で抗ガン剤の治療と手術に向けての準備をしています。
なお他の場所への転移は見つからず、食道にある腫瘍を取り除く手術を行えば再発の可能性は非常に低いという事です。自分自身の心境としまして、起こった事を冷静に受け止めて、治療に専念しようと思っています。
今回の報告において、病名を聞いた時にmichi.やファンのみんな、スタッフの顔が浮かびました。
事実を伝えるとショックを受けるだろうし、悲しいというようなマイナスな気持ちにさせてしまうであろうと思うと胸が痛いです。手術を要さない治療の可能性も諦めてはいなかったので、報告がこのタイミングになってしまいましたことを深くお詫び申し上げます。
今後は前を向いて病気と向き合って行きます。大好きな音楽、ギター、ライブを今までと変わらずに楽しめるように、しっかりと治療し、回復に努めてまいります。
ご心配をおかけしますが、必ず元気になってまたステージに戻って来たいと思いますので、少しばかりお時間を頂けたらと思います。

突然の出来事で正直驚きましたが、ファンのみんなはもっと驚いたと思います。でも転移なども認められておらず、何より本人がとてもポジティブに病気と戦おうとしています。その姿はとても逞しく頼もしく、必ず完全復活して戻ってきてくれると信じさせてくれます。
俺は彼が病気に打ち勝ち戻ってくるまで待ちます。いや待つだけでなく、彼が不在の間は俺がしっかりとALICE IN MENSWEARを支えます。なので今は安心して治療に全集中してほしい。そしてまた元気な姿でギターを弾いている自分をたくさんイメージしておいてほしい。
みんなのショックを隠しきれない気持ちは痛いほどわかるけど、一番苦しいのは本人です。一晩泣いたらネガティブは捨て、KOJIの大好きな明るい前向きな心とその笑顔で全力で応援してほしい。それが彼の元気の源だから。
ツアーやイベントのキャンセル等はもちろん、ファンのみんなと関係者様各位には多大なるご心配とご迷惑をおかけしますが、何卒KOJIの治療回復へのご理解、ご協力よろしくお願い申し上げます。

VULGARUINE RED will release 2 albums - plus a "renewed" release of their debut album - on streaming platforms in August!
"LMINAL" and "DIDATHGAZ" are scheduled to be released digitally sometime in August. Judging from the tracklist, I think LMINAL was first announced as Logi's 2nd album "DELUSIONIZER", which was apparently planned as early as late 2018 but was canned shortly afterwards.
Also included is their first album, "VULGABEAUTERIC", which was previously released back in 2018 in two different types. This version appears to be both of them put together into one (actual) full album, plus one song from another one of their cancelled albums, "おなかぷよぷよぽよよちゃん".
