l'eprica - missa its not a masterpiece really but its a phenomenal gothic/nagoya album that not many people other than hardcore nagoya stans know about. its moody, dark, heavy and all round a great listen. RES - the bottom of chaos this album doesnt get enough love on here even though its not at all an obscure album. the production sounds a little weak at times and satsuki's screaming is a little messy but the catchy melodies and headbang are unlike any other sugar - sweetest so jazzy. so sexy. so DARK. so emo

is it appropriate to state my complete and utter dislike of grieva??!?!?! im complete dumbfounded as to why they're worshiped on MH when i can't see anything from their music beyond a boring old-diru rip off with a more -core edge. i know thats part of their image but its honestly tiresome to listen to considering they've beat that horse to death throughout all their releases. their latest single sounds like obscure so LOL they'll just end up copying diru in chronological order. im curious to hear what keeps people hooked onto them as even listening to 'em as an old dir en grey cover band is kind of painful lol. im curious to hear grieva fans/haters' opinions so please do share.

LMAO people actually like nega? im surprised, lol its a shame the japanese fans didnt feel the same way. i think they have some interesting music and have produced some exceptional singles and some great ballads but i can barely listen to the stuff i dont like; so i see nega as being utterly amazing or flat out unlistenable with no neutral ground. i think nega could have done a lot better if their production wasnt so shitty and they had a bassist that would actually do something. im on the fence about san's guitar work as i often find it too clunky/repetitive/basic but it does the job while writing some surprisingly brutal riffs. surprisingly i dont mind jin, i think his vocals are an acquired taste and i dont think he's too bad of a vocalist, i just wish he used dirty vocals for whole sections instead of using the high screams here and there.i thought yuu was the standout of the band, i loved his drumming (i think its just me?!). i like TBS because they sound similar to nega, just a little less 2000's nu metal and a lot, lot more polished (its a shame yuu's not drumming).

they probably dont care about losing money or just wanna fuck western girls LOL arlequin are increasing in popularity so their company cant afford to send them oversees for one show considering it'll put them and their label in the red for minimal gain.

++++++ambivalent ideal & last nite past exodus are lynch.'s only listenable songs production wise, ignoring the massive clipping and loudness disaster so i think those two especially needed a punchier rework and imo it sounds awesome.

im so salty that they came to toronto but i couldn't attend souvlaki is easily one of the most timeless indie rock releases and it sounds more amazing with every listen

hopefully now the band implodes and tsukasa and zero have no choice to remake d'espairsray with hizumi who's probably below the poverty line and somehow push kiryu into it
