I assume so? I'm still somewhat confused on it. I woke up and got on twitter and was like "who the fuck are all these GREEM people I didn't follow these people????" before realizing it was MeteoroiD and Genki was the only one without a GREEM related username. 

Reading Genki's latest tweet, it definitely sounds like they have definitely gotten a new vocalist. He said something along the lines of there being a reason they can't go on together but he can't say any details and that he's sorry but he wants everyone to know he will keep singing meteo songs.

fuck embarrassment. sing along at the top of your lungs and give no fucks what other people think! life is way to short to stop doing something you're having fun with cause of other people. unless you are physically hurting someone(and there is no pit present) then no one gives a damn cause they rocking out too. maybe i'm just too old to give any fucks what people think when i'm having fun these days lolol.

Same here! Though I'm a little crazy when it comes to my other favorite band, with other bands I really have to have the funds for it.

Yeah, mine too. I really started to appreciate the Heart of the Young just recently, and I honestly love listening to Masato try out many things when it comes to his vocals. He really is good though at anything, but that could be me being bias too.
 
Honestly I love paying attention to every detail, especially Katsuma's drumming. He's such a badass when it comes to drumming.

nice, nice! hopefully it wasn't too hot in your neck of the woods. i went to two of the florida dates. wanted to go to the dallas one too since it's driving distance for me but i ended up with some unexpected medical expenses like 2 weeks before the show so had to cancel the dallas plans. why money gotta be such an issue? XD

i'm kinda hoping they'll bring different cds with them next time?? like bring some older stuff. importing ain't cheap and even buying it in japan still isn't cheap. :v that warped price was soooooo nice.

And by "piss off" what you actually mean is "if any of the regular uploaders decide to go breaking the forum rules, they will also be disciplined accordingly." It's funny how rules have to apply to every single member, without exception.

Blaming Pokemon Go itself for the actions of people playing it is like blaming McDonald's for people having obesity problems. At the end of the day, it's up to you as an individual to take the necessary steps to keep yourself safe, and to be completely honest most of those steps are just common sense; things like not walking into the middle of a road or not walking around alone at 3am with your phone all lit up for prospective burglars to see. With regards to children, just take them to parks or other open areas without cars and traffic to play. You know, be a responsible parent.
 
As @SEKHMET's post helps to illustrate, for every negative story to have come around since this game's launch, there are plenty of heartwarming and positive ones too. I think people are just looking for a reason to hate the popular new trend, as often tends to be the case. 

I am so addicted to this game. It's going to become a problem but I doubt i'll regret it.

Currently level 10 and team Instinct all the freaking way!!! \o/ There are a bunch of people with 1000+ cp pokemon in my city so it makes it hard to try to take gyms. D; Hopefully with a week off from work I'll be able to beef up my team.



 
 
Did this yesterday while my friend and I were out poke-hunting. It was fun even though Miley was essentially just a place holder at the gym lol. The only thing that makes me sad is her name doesn't show up for other people when they look at the gym, it only shows up for me. D;

I fully agree with wanting in-game communication but you have to realize that right now, everyone that's playing essentially has the beta version of the game. It wasn't ready to be released but because people are assholes and were downloading the backdoor file cause they were jealous of Australia or New Zealand, Niantic had to release the game early(at least in the US). So of course right now we have server issues and bugs and no fun things like trading or in-game communication/adding friends or other poke-generations yet. Be patient. Don't give up on PoGO! yet. It's literally in the works. This game is still growing. c:

And thrive on your own?? I dunno about that. The whole point of PoGO! is to get out and walk and hunt. The only way I will walk around and look for pokemon is if I have someone with me. The US ain't safe and unless I have a designated PoGO! buddy I'm not getting out of my car. Ain't got time to get robbed at gunpoint for my shitty cellphone. XD





@doomboxand I had fun poke-hunting at a lure event last night. Didn't really catch anything notable(still pissed off about a stupid charmander than ran away from me and squirtle that ran away from her) but still enjoyed ourselves. The amount of people was freaking insane, I have never seen the park we went to so packed. Not a single parking spot open. It's really awesome. Especially when you're wandering around and hear "ABRA!! COME OVER HERE AND GET THIS ABRA!" Poke-bros looking out for other poke-bros~.

@Original Saku you won't hear me disagreeing. Pokemon Go is NOT a good game mechanically. It's pretty much a giant skinner box. But I would argue that the fun isn't found purely in the addictive nature of the game, but in the social aspect. If you don't want to get up, walk around, and meet people, you aren't going to have fun. I have spent more time talking to random people walking around in my town in the past few days than I have in the previous year. Passing by all these people enjoying doing this same silly thing? I'd be lying if I said it didn't make me a little giddy.
 
I also feel part of the joy of this game is that evokes a huge childhood nostalgia in playing video games. I'm not talking about because it is gen 1 pokemon, but more the wonder of it all. The game hasn't been data mined yet and we are all still guessing at the inner workings of the game - there isn't some great site where we can all google things yet and there is a lot of talking between people on where to find certain pokemon. I know this isn't something unique to pokemon go and applies to other multiple player games at launch, but man, I am just loving it.

I feel like the main reason I like it is truly for the social aspect of it. 
I downloaded it first out of curiosity more so than the hype and excitement of another Pokemon addition to the franchise. 
But once I roamed around with friends and met new people it made it that much more interesting.  
 
Personally where I work we've managed to have different departments pick different teams, so my work place is under constant battle. 
 
I've already met a lot of people and I talk to someone new everyday just by using the game as a gateway. 
 
I like it not just cuz it's pokemon, but it sort of brought people together a bit.
