Since all of my other social media accounts are dead, I often find myself opening another tab to go to said accounts and then unconsciously type in "mo" to bring up Monochrome Heaven. I've been doing this for months now, sometimes I'll open atleast 2 or three tabs of MH and just stare at the page before snapping to and closing the tabs, I feel like a defunct robot, Lol.

I don't exactly know where else to say this, but you wanted feedback on your business-tactics and whatnot and this seems like a part of the forum where your activity is centered at. So I am sorry to say this, but you might just be chasing your customers away if you keep complaining about one instance where things didn't go as well as you would have liked initially. It truly feels as if you are accusing us of not showing up at your streams every single time by posting these passive-aggressive messages all over the forum since last weekend. Moaning about not being able to pay your rent unless we empty your catalogue is also one of them, in my eyes it's also an odd thing to set up a business when you're not financially ready for it, and then proceed to push the blame towards your customers. It is a less than professional stance towards your customers to constantly push their noses into your discontent and it very well might be one of the greater factors that keeps people at bay. It certainly isn't inspiring me to show up.

somehow i stumbled across this forum. decided to lurk for a bit before deciding to join.

i'm actually quite new to the whole VK scene. i only came across it in December of 2015 but have loved it ever since. 

the first band i found was Mejibray, and they hold a very special place in my heart. i then came across more bands, such as Nocturnal Bloodlust, Jiluka, -OZ-, Dio ~Distraught Overlord~, Deviloof, UnsraW, DEATHGAZE, Sadie, D.I.D., Gossip, Lycaon, Dir en Grey, By:ARLANT, Delacroix, girugamesh... some others as well.

yet i'm still looking for more! i really like the heavier side of VK, especially screams and screeches and heavy instrumentals. i'd really love more band recommendations if anybody has them !!

Beyond the apparent "gender bending" of visual kei, one of the most intriguing aspects of the scene is the rampant genre-bending. Is it a sign of real versatility or just willy-nilly inspiration? Whatever the case may be, today I'm celebrating a special brand of this phenomenon: HEADBANGERZ, or what @doombox helped me to phrase when kawaii goes kowai™! Whether it's through a barrage of double bass drumming, sinister drop Z tuning, or trading in angelic falsettos for demonic harsh vox, some poppy VK groups know how to mosh it out. We all know that production has gotten savvier in the past few years and current bands like DADAROMA, Nocturnal Bloodlust or Deviloof are quite heavy, but allow me to shine a light on some of the poppy bands that are also worthy of our finest devil horns, even if only for a single track. Very few bands actually pull this off, but this Featured List will highlight a few of my favorites. Try not to overthink the fact that these sparkly, rainbow-plastered host boys have the potential to be more br00tal than your hardcore and metal faves. Instead, dial up the volume to 11 and join me in a round of synchronized bangya headbanging.

I think that it is not dying out.  Because you had one bad stream...that frankly had nothing interesting and repetitive bands, does not mean that everyone has suddenly lost interest.  You are seriously overreacting over one little stream...
 
And frankly, this attitude will only deteriorate your business.

Hmmm…I haven’t wrote a forum intro in more than a decade now, well, let’s see how this goes.
 
I was a 90's kid who got into J-Rock in the beginning of the ‘00s when I upgraded to electric guitar, at the time, it was Glay, L’arc en Ciel and Dir en Grey that dominated the scene. Slowly, I got pulled towards the lesser known stuff like Malice Mizer(at the time that is), Raphael, hide, Due le Quartz and a few others that I forget now. I spent a great deal of fun with VK during those years, a couple of friends and I formed a band and we used to rehearse with J-Rock(and J-Pop) music. My favorite bands at the time were Malice Mizer, Glay and Dir en Grey (but over the years Malice Mizer became the victor).
 
I haven’t been catching up for the past 7-8 years due to the change in musical style and that the old stuff were kind of getting lost in the sea of new VK hype, also for the fact that I was moving towards University and my hobbies subsequently changed. During those years I have discovered new gems every once in a while – Acidman, Versailles, Maximum the Hormone and Tsubakiya Quartette, so I guess I wasn’t completely cut off.
 
While watching Malice Mizer’s Merveilles l’espace a few days ago, the nostalgia crept back up, and I found myself wanting to catch up with everything that I’ve missed out so far, the love for J-Rock and VK somehow revived itself after all these years.
 
So in the meantime, I thought I’d drop by and say hi to the community; it appears it’s become way bigger than how I remembered it, and I’m glad it is so. So if there’s anything I’m missing out on, I’m counting on you guys to fill me in

I braced myself before going through the thread and I've already been somewhat hurt by someone's personal scale of attractiveness (how black people are on the dead bottom of their scale) and it brings back to how the world treats the black woman as one of the most unattractive beings that have ever walked this planet. As a black woman, it's constantly thrown in my face how I don't fit into societal norms of beauty, and though I haven't had much dating experience, I'd like to date someone who shares partially the same struggle as me, or in other words another person of color.
Also remember that "racial preferences" can intersect with fetishizing (and don't even challenge me on this).

i am caucasian and i've dated and had crushes on several different ethnicities but i am currently not attracted to anyone or anything
 
my dad said once i can like asian music all i want but that i shouldnt show up with a black or asian boyfriend at home. ofc it is hard to change old people's minds (my dad is 80) but he knows idgaf about what he said and will date anyone i want however he has been really rude to friends of mine -saying he thought they were "suspicious"- and subjects like these are often why i have fights with him or just turn off my brain and pretend im not listening.
 
my mom is different thanks to her being so active on the internet and actually following and embracing all the equality movements that have been happening. but even before she became more "internet savvy" she told me i could date whoever i want.
