I'm finding it interesting where they're popular and most well known. Seems like they're spreading like wild fire, I continue to keep an eye on their last.fm page and Tumblr post inclusions just to see how far they are. Going against what I've already said here, it really is nice that such a different group are getting recognition, I'm rather excited for more bizarre genre mixes in the future. I seem to be looking into them quite a bit.. more of a fan I think I am, wow. >.<

Actually, I think all those animal lovers are like that, in a way. I have a friend who is dog crazy and prefers them over every animal, literally, humans too. She also calls her dogs cute nicknames, as do horse owners. My mother is a horse lover to and I think it's natural since you enter competitions with this animal and train a lot together. It's like you literally build a bond with that animal to people, I'm sure. I'm more of an animal lover over people to be honest.. (apart from being online, social anxiety you know..). But yeah, not really answered your question brilliantly, but I don't think it looks like they have an 'intimate' relationship at all, just love. Hell, I call my closest friends my husbands/wives, cupcakes and sweeties... My question which I literally just thought up the top of my head; why do you think celebrities are praised so highly compared to the every day person. Like, for example, Justin Beiber has gotten away with so many things we all would get in trouble for a lot more, and Chris Brown just entered back into the music industry like his drunk abuse on Rihanna was nothing. Why are they allowed to do this and do you think we'll ever be equal in such status? Actually, just expanding this a bit, apologies.. but, like, even sexism, racism.. will we ever just be one with each other and get along together? (Me being hopeful, and I got into a debate about this in school so yeah..)

Interesting question. I've always wanted to be able to read and write Japanese but never really wanted to be Japanese. I am happy with my own ethnicity, even if I'm just a little, plain British girl hah. I've always wished to live in Japan though, or anywhere in Asian and not where I've always lived here. To be able to easily find and purchase their music, clothes and DVDs, go to concerts and events and look around the area makes me really jelly of everyone who lives there. But not exactly to be born Japanese, although, some TV series and movies have made me want to grow up there aha. : 3

I'm glad I found this thread even though it's a bit old. Had been upset and too shy to message to/status about birthdays on here since I don't know everyone. So happy birthday to everyone on their day who reads this!! Appears to be quite a few users with the same birthday on here, and I remember wanting to give shout outs too other members here but their birthday has gone by. D: Hopefully catch them next time!

Agreed. Having read through the thread, I was afraid I'd be the only one to say I didn't dislike it. Of course, there's a few songs I much prefer over others (TOKYO GYPSY is my favourite track and I have a thing for Engrish singing so GESSHOKU is fab xD) and I agree with the majority too when I say it's clearly not their best release. I haven't listened to all their songs, only most of their older songs once or twice, but overall, it just sounds like a change of style a bit and it's always a breath of fresh air when that happens with bands I think. As I quoted above from Hellion, it does sound like there is 'actual originality' in this piece compared to their other albums. Then again, I'll listen to literally anything and enjoy it! It's a fun album, it really is in my opinion. I guess another factor as to why I liked it was because I was prepared for the worst after having read comments and reviews of it hah. So yeah, I'm actually not disappointed since I was expecting, like, the worst. xD I keep repeating the opening, it's so funky and fun hah. This isn't a proper review lol sorry, just commenting as well. And I can agree with Furik about the 'misleading title.' Why GANGSTA, out of everything? Doesn't really fit the overall feel of the album I think.
