    Akai Tsuki.

    Asobi Seksu.

    Changin' My Life.

    The Cranberries.

    Kanon Wakeshima.

    Konomi Suzuki.

    LUI FRONTiC 赤羽 JAPAN.

    Maon Kurosaki.

    Mashiro Ayano.

    myco.

    Sayaka Sasaki.

    Shakira.

    Uehara Hiromi.

    Saishuu Mirai Heiki Mofu.

    Utada Hikaru.

    Wagakki Band.

    Yuuka Ueno.

    Leo Ieiri.

    Shishido Kavka.

    And that's it.

Seeing Shakira amongst so many Japanese names always makes me chuckle.

  2. Also I shouldn't have to say this but I am friends with hiLo's mom, like I'm not just some random fan lol. If it's related to NAINE I know what the fuck is going on.

Yeah, but did you know that my dad works at Nintendo?

No need to be snide lol I like how yall have never been in Japan and are so quick to be like 'but it's a real band!!!' call me when you've studied Japanese for 15 years and been in Japan for four then you can pretend you know what the fuck you're talking about. Goodbye

Congratulations, now tone down your damn ego. You're like a petulant kid bragging on the playground during recess.

  3. Hm, full releases only?

Damn, well, stuff I've tried and can remember~

lynch.'s new album has some interesting notes but it's not fully engrossed me, but it's got me wanting to listen to it at least.

COME AGAIN by Shonan No Kaze has definitely become one of my routine additions for playlists.

ALXD by Alexandros has some keepers that made me keep the album 'round but it's not a whole package I'd write home about.

I really fell into Gackt's GACKTRACKS and listened to it for what seemed like ages but it's slowly slipped down to "Won't skip but won't seek out" status on my mp3 player.

Miyavi's the Others is more the same, in that it was something I really enjoyed wrapping myself in but started to become nothing more than drown-out noise.

It's a compilation of sorts, but Man With A Mission's 5years5wolves5souls does not disappoint, bringing back the best of the catalogue for another listen.

One Ok Rock's 35XXXV was overall a miss for me, but there's been a couple of tracks that have stuck around and are a welcome joy when they come on shuffle.

    As for not JP stuff,

Blue Stahli's the Devil has worked it's way into my favourites, along with labelmate's

End of an Empire, by Celldweller. Granted it's only the last two 'parts' that were in 2015, but I feel that aside from part 1, the latter half is definitely where it's at.

Voicians also released part 1 of his self-titled, hoping more comes in before the year's out.

Other than that, it's just one off singles or good ole' oldies. Writing it all down really brings to point just how much my iPod additions this year is mostly just stuff from the 90s and before.

  4. I'm not the most adept at being knowledgeable when it comes to the makings of music, I can't tell a riff riff from a woof woof and all the doofs sound doofy to me, so just as someone who listens to music because it makes my dick tingle, I'm saying that this is probably the only Miyavi album/single that I would not be ashamed if I had purchased it.

  5. Saw comments and went in expecting a XodiacK sounding song, I suppose it sort of comes across similar to Deprival and Naturally, but I always felt that the best of XodiacK was the Skyscraper Hypoxia single with both the stated track and Misty being two very different feeling songs but still being pretty true to the band.

As much as I loved XodiacK more than Black Gene, I'm just not sure I'm gonna feel it here, it might just be that retarded charm that XodiacK had, 'Galaxy Metal' 'an all.

  6. Ugh, all these bands cashing in on 10 year shit. Just stop. It's not worth it. Bands like DEATHGAZE, lynch., Sadie, etc. are just not worth it.

    DEATHGAZE? Maybe.

    Sadie? Definitely not.

But lynch.? They've been a quality band since the beginning, and judging from the previews they're actually redoing all of the songs on their anniversary album, so it's shaping up to be a solid release nonetheless.
