  1. 2016, people bitching and moaning about being charged and shit for weed.
Here I am, personally wondering why if it isn't a "big deal" to you guys then why do you do it when it's 100% clearly illegal?

Like, jesus fucking christ, guys. I don't care if it's literally the shits of God, you don't fuck like that with your government. You've got the means to challenge laws, go do so, but don't do it by being a dumb fuck cunt rebellious teenager and then bitch about it later when it finally bites you in your arse.

My friend went to their concert at Shinkiba Studio Coast yesterday and said the new song is very different of what the band are used to do. He said it sounds more "pop" and maybe it would be a very discussed topic next year. I wonder if it's gonna sound like Jessica or those more energetic-non-agressive songs they have.

This would make me so happy and it'd be the first Diru release I'll listen to in years.

  3. Just found out about Valshe, so her songs have been on repeat for about a week now.

Aside from that because it's the "new", I've been playing Radiofish like mad, especially when I'm doing things around the house.

Plus Miyavi's latest album has some good "doing things whilst listening to this" tracks.

Whatever y'all smoking, PLEASE give me some. I believe in me is the only Lynch. Album I've tossed in the recycling bin multiple times because its that bad....

besides ALL THIS I GIVE YOU.

Is this a, "I don't like it so it's bad" or are you genuinely saying you believe it's the only album of theirs that wasn't worth listening to?

Because, damn, I'd sooner go IBIM than any album they released afterwards.

  5. My feeling with VK is that I've grown out of it in a sense that it doesn't fill my library to the extent it used to.

I used to be one of those kids who was sort of "visual-kei-emo", and that if it wasn't VK it was bad. From music to style to the point where I've now dug myself a hole in that my online persona is a single word stage name in a fanatical fashion.

My library is a lot more diverse now and I'm reminded of an "experiment" the mods or a group of people on this forum did a while back where they posted an upload with a picture of a VIsual Kei band, with a lot of people liking it before having it revealed that they were a normal band. Oh the backlash was immense and I think that's sort of the mentality I've grown from.

So ultimately, it's not so much that VK does it for me, I enjoy the styles, the music and the bands but ultimately it's not a rabid devotion it used to be, at least for me.

  6. Music.

    And uh, music?

Y'know, with the drum drum, doopey doop guitar whim whims and the blam blam waaah vocals.

Overall I've moved beyond keeping my tastes arbitrated by genre and just enjoyed what I enjoy. Maybe I like one hip-hop-hap group but not another one and thus do I like the genre or do I not?

Everything's so varied and taste itself is varied too so...

  7. First Miyavi song that's let me down since 2010.

Oh well, that's six-ish years at least.

Started with ridiculous visual crap and ended with this weird amalgamation of noises, least there was something decent inbetween.

Glad I heard Afraid to be Cool and Raise Me Up before this latest track or I'd have written off the entire album before it came out.

  8. "J-Rock" and you list visual kei bands...

JRock = Japanese Rock = Literally heaps.

For new releases I follow Akuma Musiik on youtube and they upload a weekly video of top 40 Japanese releases.

I also visit Yuonmai where there are new releases and uploads daily.

Through these two I've found a lot of new bands and artists that fill up most of my library to the point where visual kei takes up easily less than 25%.

Mostly just branch out your tastes and where you look for music.
