Probably one of the few examples of a song that I like that is predominantly harsh vocals.

Kise is awesome. I mainly love the Midorima/Takao, Kise/Kasamatsu, and Hyuuga/Izuki pairs... After rewatching a few episodes I've come to notice my slight preference for Kasamatsu-senpai though I don't really have a clue why. I guess from the main cast I really do like Kuroko, Hyuuga and Izuki. Aomine, Takao, and Kise too. Also, only little over three months and then the new Yowamushi Pedal season will be there

Last Concert You Went To (Now with Pics)

Went to the first (kinda small) Hungarian version of Aerodrome Festival and it was a blast all the way! Powerman 5000 opened the day around 5PM and played for a killer 45 mins. They mostly performed songs from their 2 "classic" albums and the new one, so lots of industrial-pop-metal bouncing around and shouting and even a bit of moshing towards the end. It was excellent, I felt like a teenager again, lol - especially at the end with songs like these: Then came Battlecross who substituted for Megadeth... well, I duncurr for either of them, so just stood back and had some KFC + beer to replenish my strength. xD ...cuz afterwards it was Zombie time! I've been really really looking forward to seeing Rob Zombie perform live since he's one of my all-time favorite artists and the band gave a hell of a show indeed! Cool props, sweet guitars (and guitar solo!) from John 5, there was even a drum solo too and giant bouncy balloons. 8D They opened with Dragula, so everyone was in pretty high spirits from the start. Gotta hand it to Rob, he's almost 50 and still moving around like a maniac, haha. Great setlist selecting from all their eras (they squeezed in half a School's Out by Alice Cooper too, heh) - it was amazing, tho of course I could've watched it for a few more hours. XD The main band was Limp Bizkit. I'm not really into them, tho one of my first CDs was their Chocolate Starfish... album, so I have kinda fond memories. I went in a bit skeptical but the whole energy was just so high and awesome that it was impossible not to bounce along with the crowd to all the usual hits. Great great experience, my legs still hurt, lolol. Amazing live band overall - tho that could be said for all bands of the night. Excellent gig it was! Just so you get an idea of the intensity, here's the end of the last song of the night:

Wow, I completely take back my prejudices against this song before it was released. Love the music and the melody in KAMIJO's singing. That blond guitarrist makes it sexy... By the way, Jupiter is totally out of my radar. KAMIJO's work is by far more interesting to me.

    Last movie you saw.

I thought Seven Psychopaths was fantastic. Not as good as In Bruges by the same man, Martin McDonagh, but very good. Both Martin, and his brother, John Michael, are two of the more promising directors out there in 2014. Really looking forward to John Michael's Calvary which comes this year, and he's got several projects running as well, and I am really hoping for The Bonnot Gang to be his next thing. He once described it as a a cross between The Wild Bunch and Le Samourai. Jesus, that sounds good. But I wouldn't mind War on Everyone either, a crime film I think. These two men, man. Argh, yes!

Seven Psychopaths - Interesting & fun lil' movie, maybe dragged on for a bit too long but it has some really funny shit (kinda Tarantinoesque dialogues) plus Tom Waits with a bunny in it, so... it was alright.

Currently obsessed with: 少年記 - ガゼルバベル I'm actually obsessed with this band in general, but I'll just talk about their newest single. It was love at first listen. When I watched the 40 second PV preview, I had to play it another 30 times. I'm terrible with wording, but just those 40 seconds made me realize that this was essentially something I wanted to hear for the longest time. It felt familiar, but new; generic but unique all at the same time. The buildup to the chorus is just beautiful and the actual chorus is just WOW. I never bought anything so fast. It was like 20 mins after first hearing the preview, I went on CDJapan and bought that shit asap. So as soon as I started listening to the full version of the song, I was like "lolwhatisthis?" The intro is: I go to the top of the Tower of BABEL with my GAZELLE. It have two pairs of horns with "emotion". Sleep in my mind... I go to the top of the Tower of BABEL with my GAZELLE in my fate. I felt awkward for like 5 seconds and I was over it. I kinda feel like it doesn't fit with the rest of the song but it's used to end the song as well so...idk. It sounds like some weird Engrish pop intro and upon my first listen, I wasn't into it. As of right now, It doesn't really bother me but I think the song could do without that but then again, I don't know shit so Rest of the song is breathtaking. The guitar play and the solo makes me sweat. I wasn't expecting there to be screams/growls because the preview sounded so beautiful and angelic but I'm totally into them so it doesn't really matter. THAT CHORUS THOUGH UGH I don't really know what the concept is for the song since I don't know Japanese but in the PV, there's a gazelle, the tower of Babel, and the vocalist and his clone(?) which is a shadow of himself I'm guessing. Basically, I feel like it's about inner conflict and battling with "yourself" which is hot. Biblical references in songs are hot too. This band doesn't have a drummer so it makes me think "What would they sound like with an actual drummer? Better? Worse?" I like how they sound now without one.

    Last movie you saw.

The Story of Luke: amazingly found this movie after hours of movie browsing on netflix. (surprise surprise). The movie ended up being way better than I was anticipating. It had some humor, but there was a part where it just made me cry. Call me a sissy I don't care. lol. Anyway, here's the description off IMDb if anyone wants to watch it! Sheltered by his grandparents, Luke, a young man with autism, is thrust into a world that doesn't expect anything from him. But Luke is on a quest for a job and true love. And he isn't taking no for an answer.

This is Kamijo. The man is a true artist who defies genres and can entertain without needing to prove anything to his fans by sticking to the same thing over and over again, and this has always been his forte ever since Lareine, so whoever says that this 'new direction' he flows in to sucks, should remember where he comes from. They're his roots, he's always been more of a pop-artist rather than a metal-vocalist, or if anything it proves that he can pull off multiple genres just fine. And he pulls it off without embarassing himself like most artists would because even if he is cheesy, he is just flawless anyway.
