71. What do you think about mainstream music today? It's kind of a mess. Not that it's inherently bad because it's mainstream, but I think major record labels are constantly fucking up their artists' promotion.
72. What do you think about KPOP? Really love like 6 or 7 artists, but not an avid fan.
73. Do you think the people around you have weird/bad taste? Not expressly, but I do think that they throw VK, J-Pop, and K-Pop under the bus without even trying it. (For example, my 2 best friends would never list to 2NE1 and when I played their new album at a party they were like "shit this is good" and I'm like that's what I've been SAYING)

Fatima - 静む体温 and DELUHI - 星の無い夜に
Shizumu Taion always made me sad, the lyrics are beautiful and I used to watch Fatima's last live DVD religiously almost every day, that always made me sad. DELUHI's Hoshi no nai yoru ni has sad, yet pretty lyrics which unfortunately have more meaning to me than ever, as my best friend and singer of my band passed away in December last year. The lyrics of this song remind me of the longing for some kind of connection again. It's comforting but I could also cry.

My friends band 'Badfood'. They played in their warehouse and had built a makeshift floor above where they played so everyone was above them dancing and had to look down through gaps in the wood to see the band. Unique way to listen to/watch a band.

I like some old school 90s Hip-Hop and a tiny bit of newer stuff, but if we're talking Hip-Hop that's actually beautiful? Nujabes, that man.. Such gorgeous music he made. I also own a couple CD's by Loop Junktion who're Japanese and they do hip-hop with sort of Acid Jazz infused, it's really good. I also like the Japanese hip-hop group 'Buddha Brand' haha.

I've partied with Roger Meddows Taylor (Queen's drummer), I've played a gig with Mike Watt (Bassist from Iggy Pop and the Stooges) and I used to hang out with the Horrors when I was a teenager, dunno how big they are any more. I'm met James Chance a few times.. I've met quite a few people so I'll leave it at that.

That song is actually pretty damn sad already! Generally it depends on my mood, but songs with a combination of honest emotions and sad lyrics I guess, not necessarily ballads. A song that made me cry a few times already is 無秩序のプール by La'Mule.

There are way too many and I think that with all the years having passed they may not work the way they did anyway.

I think people in general don't really care. Other fans of japanese music propably think that I have a small horizon when it comes to my choice of music, but I really don't need to find something completely different every day.

Yes, definitely.

Same as with instruments of course it'd be great to be able to sing, no matter the style. (I already sing a lot with my current impure voice anyway, because I don't give a fuck.)

The sad truth is it never changed. It broadened and the things I associate with it are different, but 'kotekote' bands were the ones I first discovered 10 years ago, it was the first music that really impressed me and it's still my main choice.

There is more than one of course, but Sweet enemy by La'Mule for example is a very important one.

When I saw SIN of Vasalla in the Ayame mourning event last month I was really impressed how he didn't change one bit despite being as old as time. He never looked very healthy either.

23. What do you think of Classical music? I like it. I should probably listen to it more, but I just don't think about it.

24. What do you think of Country music? I don't like very much of it, but I like a little bit. Sometimes it can be very emotional, and I like that.

25. What do you think of Death metal? I like it too, but my ears can get blown out on it fairly quickly, especially in a live setting.

26. What do you think of Visual Kei? Big fan. Although, not as big a fan as I used to be.

27. What do you think of Hip-Hop? In grade school I was crazy about it. I still like a handful of rappers, but I hate most of the stuff that is popular or on the radio because it's just about showing off.

28. If you were a musical instrument what would you be? A flute came to mind?

29. What do your parents listen to? Rock music. Especially 60s British invasion era songs. But they also like modern rock and a lot of what I listen to. My dad is a huge Miyavi fan hahaha.

30. Favorite movie/anime/video game sound track? I like some of the Shut up! Flower Boy Band Kdrama OST songs. Well, most of them actually.

31. Do you know the names of all the band members that you listen to? Well not all because I have over 1000 artists in my library... but of my list of favorite bands I know the members pretty well.

32. Have you met any famous musicians? Yes. Ranging from member of New Kids on the Block to members of Cannibal Corpse. Haha. For Japanese artists I've met Crossfaith, MUCC, D'espairsRay, Rentrer en soi, 12012, and some indies bands so they wouldn't count as famous.

33. Do you follow the music charts, like the top 40? I'll listen to the top 40 list brodcast once every few weeks, or it's often background at the place I work. Atleast, for American top 40. I don't listen to the others.

34. Do you watch music TV? I used to when I was young and MTV still showed videos (probably showing my age here) but not recently on tv, no. Now I just go right to youtube.

35. Do you listen to the radio? Mostly as background at work, they play it. And I will put it on about once a month or so to see what is new.

36. What are 3 of your favorite albums ever? This is so hard!!! It hurts me to only choose three but we'll say MUCC "極彩", Sevendust "Home", and Nirvana "Nevermind" had huge impacts on my life and I played them ridiculous amounts.
