PERESTROIKA new maxi single "HEAЯTZ" release

Recommended Posts

the scream wasn't too bad, but I was already turned off when I heard him start singing, WTH's wrong with that recording? that just was too distracting to even pay attention to anything else...

But the main question is: Didn't Kisaki talk about a musical "revolution"? ;D

Does selling one band as two completely different projects sound revolutionary enough?

I mean, there've been alter ego bands here for 12012/d'espa/nightmare and so on, but the whole perestroika marketing is really new, even for Kisaki.

Listened to the sample...what I don't understand is why they made a completely different band for this. So far it sounds like typical Nega, but a bit...boring/shallow. Still, lookin' forward kinda!

Unlike everyone else, when I listened I actually enjoyed it. I'm even looking forward to its release. It sounds a little bit different from standard Nega, maybe lighter. Also Jin's scream did sound really good, but heavily distorted which helps it a lot. Either way, looking forward to it!

The sample sounded like an average Nega b-side song.

I'm honestly just treating this like another Nega release: not too excited, but looking forward to it.

yeah, man. wth was that?

It's just nega with different name and clothing!

No new sounds or even new faces

With Jin still around, they'll never get too far...

I think it sounds ok... I think this is too light for Jin to pull off. What was that one song of thier album that I hated so much ...oH! "17歳??孤独". Jin can't pull off these really poppy songs. He doesn't sound good at all. I think he works well with thier heavy typical VK songs like Muddy Cult and Haunted Jealousy.

well at least this part, dunno when i hear the full thing.

I can see that instrumental wise, but vocals...Jin is inferior to Ruki...

I don't really agree with that, but I did think that Nega's Haunted Jealousy was very the GazettE -ish. In fact, I was sure that was what they were trying to accomplish during that era. I'm not so sure about PERESTROIKA sounding like the GazettE, but we'll see with the full single.
