D'espairsRay on hiatus

Recommended Posts

Thank you very much for always supporting D'espairsRay.

Now according to the wishes of all D'espairsRay members after the completion of World Tour 2010 "Human-clad Monsters" all activities such as recording and playing live will be put on hold for indefinite period of time.

The reason is to let HIZUMI concentrate fully on medical treatment and full recovery of his vocal cords.

For over a year HIZUMI had experienced symptoms of problems with the muscles of his vocal cords, but due to recording and touring schedule he could not concentrate on healing. We believe everyone will respect his wish to take time off in the first half of the next year in order to recover as soon as possible and resume the activities again.

At present during the tour HIZUMI can temporarily take measures to treat his voice the best he can and his condition will not deteriorate for sure. We will continue doing our best during the tour, so please everyone support us.

D'espairsRay

HIZUMI

TSUKASA

---------------------------------------------------------

D'espairsRay websites will continue to function during the suspention of the band's activities.

The present situation is such that HIZUMI consulted with and was treated by as many specialists in Tokyo and Kansai area as we could find, but the cure hasn't been found yet.

If you have any information about prominent doctors and clinics that could help us including overseas please contact us.

Oh wow, even asking for medical help. That's unfathomable! At least that show's they're being truthful.

Hopefully it fixes itself with some rest.

I hope they will be back with power.

Get well soon, Hizumi! :hug2:

And..., i wonder if the members left will do some side project during this hiatus? :P

I pray his condition improves. I knew this tour would be impossibly tough on his vocals. They really should have rested a bit. Kind of sensed this coming, to be honest, so I'm not that surprised.

It's about time. I hope sick guy get healthy (of course) and I hope they get some inspiration to make something decent again and stop this bullshit they've been doing for a long period of time now.

Like i already said on last.fm, it's the best decision they could have made although they should have done it right after REDEEMER. He has been struggling with his voice far too long, i really hope he can recover fully since he is my favorite vocalist ever. Hopefully the tour won't affect his voice too much :/ Wishing them good luck and waiting for their return.

hope this doenst affect his voice too much during his upcoming lives

whats up btw with all the jrock singers and their voices? i also read the vocalist of Kagrra lost his voice, Ruki a while ago

i know guys such as Kyo and the singer of Maximum the Hormone also had isues, and the guy of Gemmik had to stop with music since he was ruinig his voice and so i have tons of other examples

Wow this seems pretty serious if they're asking for help. Hope he'll recover.

Anyway, in the meantime I want a band with Tsukasa on vocals. Yeaaaa.

DO WANT.

Anyway, because the translation from LJ makes it seem a tiny bit worse than it is (not bashing the translator here, love his/her work), it should be noted that basically after the tour Hizumi plans to take the beginning of next year off and hopes to return at some point the same year (maybe mid or late 2011 then) fully recovered. Hizumi pretty much insists that the decision is a positive one and I agree with him. They should have taken a break a while ago. I suspect all he needs is rest and to focus on getting better/seeing doctors. :(

Thats because that dude can't scream properly. Most jrockers don't learn to scream properly, thats why most sound a little hoarse when screaming. It shouldn't sound like that xD

Kyo just experiments too much.

hope he gets well soon!

and thinking about their latest release I really hope they take their time with a "comeback", 'cause I honestly hope they'll come back with something better than this album =.=

They've been working too hard lately, so they should probably rest for a few months, especially Hizumi. I don't see this as bad news at all.

Oh : /

Hope the best for Hizumi, he was the first Japanese vocalist i ever admired. He's too good of a vocalist to go to waste.

My initial thought was that maybe after the break they could make some at least passable music and dress up like girls again.

just wanted to say, couldn't disagree more with these two statements regarding maximum and deg...

regarding despa, hope hizumi gets better quick, on monsters and redeemer i actually was a little bit disappointed in the vocals, so maybe after some rest/treatment he gets back his lost sparcle :oshi:
