The Bread Wolf 231 Posted April 22, 2013 I used to listen to them, but they didn't really convince me with their mixing skills. I mean their sound is pretty unique and especially Andy fascinates me as a bassist, but the whole mixing done poorly kinda ruined it for me. I wanted to hear more of their songs to actually like them, but wasn't ready to buy any of the releases based on their impression. So yeah, good band, bad mixing. TokyoCinderella 77 Posted April 22, 2013 Totally understandable. They're not with an office so they do a lot of shit on their own -- I think Kaede, the drummer, does most of the mixing. Their quality HAS gone up on their nationwide releases lately -- Kokkeiron is a pretty killer mini-album and I immediately noticed the difference in sound quality when I got it. Crap quality gets on my nerves initially, but I kind of really like the kinds of bands that end up having to produce at that level (ie., poor due to not being a young hostboy fluff screamo band) so I deal. 1 TheBistroButcher666 reacted to this
The Bread Wolf 231 Posted April 22, 2013 That doesn't really explain much, to be honest. Kiryu, which is produced by B.P. Records, does their mixing on their own. Of course, the program they use is professional (ProTools, which, may I add, I'm also familiar with). Though getting a professional mixing tool does cost some money, like, well, ProTools costs like $800 for the basic software. But I think, if I was a musician, I would totally invest on a good mixing software, since even high-quality instruments can be made sound really bad with bad mixing, whereas lower quality instruments can be made sound decent with a good mixing software. Not judging them though! I'm just saying that, to win my attention, they should've paid more attention to the mixing. But if you're saying their recent releases are better than the first three they published, then alright, good. I'd still like to hear it though, to be convinced. Biopanda 2675 Posted May 3, 2013 I have nothing interesting to add here :x They were really awesome when I saw them live back in December and they actually seemed quite a bit more popular than I originally thought. They also seem to have some really nice fans, which is a plus. One of their saizen was one of the two Japanese people who actually talked to me at any concerts there XD

blackdoll 907 Posted March 16, 2016 it doesnt make me mad, but just makes me idk puzzled at how The gallo can get off their dicks and actually make some good ass music that can compete with kpop while the other VK bands are doing dip shit put some mehh whatever crap that's dead after one listen. That album is everything good about in one package. The reason why their Lyrics are so goreish is because they just raped visual kei's lazy bum ass disclaimer: havent listen to recent kiryu. TokyoCinderella 77 Posted March 21, 2016 Thanks for the signal boost! Ths faggots and dykes thing isn't in lyrics, it's just kind of a slogan or subtitle for the album.
