  1. Where you go with a date doesnt really matter so long as their the right person for you. As for a mate its all subjective.the girl i classed as my soul mate was about 5ft6ish (or 5ft6 and a fag-end as she used to say) she had long kind dirty blonde hair - almost grey/sliver in appearance that ran all the way down her back passed her ass which was always so silky smooth. Her eyes were grey'ish but they occasionally turned a shade of blue. She was a little chubby but i loved the way she looked. She was the most amazing thing to cuddle, so soft and a little squishy. Her name was Emma but i either called her my 'little bear' or 'Emmybear' cuz she used to be curled up in my arms so much. Id whisper little bear in her ear and i could feel her heart skip a beat which was so adorable andd totally melted my heart when i felt it and her snuggle closer.

Personality wise she was a special kind of awesome, i can't quite describe it. She was bubbly, had an amazing smile, liked the same things that i did and loved my knd of humour. The only way to describe us is that we just clicked, was never pushy with her. I never had to be cuz she always knew what i was thinking or was gonna say and i trusted her so deeply.

Its been over 10years since we broke up. We've spoke on one or two occasions and i still love her as much as i did back then and deep down inside i still cry every time i think about her as there has not been a single girl ive dated in the years since we broke up who has ever come close to being her replacement. I dont expect my dates to be a 1:1 copy of her but that spark is not there.

Liek this if u cry evry tim.

Whats your favourite old school cartoon?

I also had a very long relationship with a girl named Emma. It is like a chain that hangs from my heart, and stays forever a part of me, but I know I must move on and start a brand new adventure! I only drink soy milk, sometimes 4 litres a day.

I still think Santa is real.

I have my bike on my bed, I love it with all my heart. No posters.

I have always wanted to be a director, musician, mangaka, dancer, businessman, pro BMX rider, etc... I work hard everyday...

My favorite flower is the Snapdragon, there were some behind my house as a kid, so cool...

What does your favorite pair of underwear look like?

  2. Hey guys,

In this thread I thought we could try putting together tribute albums we would love to see.

There are no rules, make up whatever choices you want.

    Suggestions:

You may want to either choose one artist to be covered by multiple others, like Hide Tribute, with or without a theme.

You may choose an era to be covered, like CRUSH.

You may choose multiple artists from any era to be covered by one artist, etc...

    Here`s one to start:

    Alice Nine Tribute Album:

RAINBOWS - Takanori Nishikawa (Shou`s hero).

    Time Machine - DIV

Fantasy - L`Arc en Ciel (Hyde is another of Shou`s heroes).

White Prayer - Luna Sea (Heavily influenced A9).

Blue Planet - UNiTE (Think this is a great match)

    Velvet - Dir en Grey

    Heart of Gold - SID

Senkou - Kra (I think Taizo would kill this on guitar!)

Heisei Juushichinen - Aoi (Think his energy would rule in this song).

Let me know what you think, and post up your own ideas!

  3. Nope, there are things i hate about myself, some of those things i cant change so why get depressed over it? I get depressed about other things but i dont take it out on myself or dwell on it too much because its pointless.

If you could create any kind of sport, what wouls you create?

    Blitzball.

As for hating myself, I admit I do it often, but I dont want people to insult me, I want to make a comeback and show the world.

Describe your perfect date and mate that you go on it with.

  4. I tried fixing the info, metadata etc... using Winamp, I figure it is the same thing.

I took out the album name, artist name, retyped it manually... No dice...

The ones I ripped myself worked, they were fixed when I did that.

The ones I downloaded didn't. It seems like they are from different cds, like combining bonud tracks etc... and stay in.seperate albums on my phone...

This sucks since I.like to download albums to not have to.open.cases or get bonus tracks if I couldnt get all versions...

    Thanks for responding.

  5. Hey guys,

Do you ever have an issue with files on your music player, or PC automatically being divided into multiple albums even though they have the same album name, artist , etc???

I experience this with either cds I rip, or files I download to check out new artists.

I play my music on my Xperia, and have the issue there, where an album is split into two or three in my library and I cant fix it even I delete and retype the info in the edit track screen. Happens mostly with 日本語 titles but also happens with Roman titles as well...

Let me know if you feel my pain (like a support group), or if you have any info or ideas to fix.

    Thanks for reading!

  6. You might note that I bolded and capitalized the word "INTENTIONALLY", you know, to put emphasis on the fact that I was referring to uploaders who know exactly what they're doing.  ; )

Brb, uploading in 90kbps to give y'all that grungey 'demo-tape' feel.

  7. I really don't care whether my favourite band uses the small amount of money they make from CDs (which isn't quite a lot, considering a lot of the album sales money is used to pay other people involved in the process of making a CD, as someone already stated before me) to take their kids to the zoo or sniff coke from a prostitute's behind. The money they make because I spend it on them is theirs and they can do whatever they want with it, unless they're using it to support neo-nazi's or smth like that lol (then obviously I wouldn't put money into people who support that sort of thing). They put effort and time into making the music so I shouldn't feel entitled just because I bought that CD that they should do what I want them to do.

Just buy what you enjoy from a band. They released an album you didn't like? Too bad, then don't buy it. But don't start whining that you spent so much money on them and now they're "doing this to you and you feel so betrayed". A band does whatever they want musically (unless in specific cases with awful contracts or whatever but then again it's still up the band itself to decide to go major and in the process lose some of their individuality) and if you don't enjoy it you should just not support it.

Honestly, just to clarify, I was presenting different hypothetical scenarios... I feel like a lot of the responses might have actually been attacking me and assuming things, but I am just presenting a discussion. If people weren`t aiming at me, or if they were, whatever, I am not mad, just clarifying so you know me.

As for my personal feelings... I have strong beliefs, but I understand that everyone sees things differently, and does different things. When I buy a cd, or whatever, I do it to obtain that thing which I want, and to support the quality of that product, those good songs, etc...

If someone makes a bad cd, or a bad pair of jeans that rip, etc... I wont buy, unless special circumstances like a band goes in a direction I don`t like, but are still trying to make what they think is good... If that band was always there for me, I will be there for them, I don`t care. If I turn on wrestling, and they have some boring night, I still keep it on, because I know them, and they have been there for me every Monday night, and I don`t turn so easily...

But I also find it interesting if say a vegetarian or vegan likes a band, or person, and supports them, what do they feel when they see that band wearing expensive leather jackets, or fur or whatever? Everybody is different, but it is still a complicated world.

Just my opinions, I find this all very interesting, and nice to know your opinions, thanks for all input so far!

  8. As for credits, it can be a form of thank you, or recognition in a community.

Say you brought cookies to work for everyone, and while you aren`t looking, someone else grabs your plate of your desk and puts it on his... Then everyone starts eating the cookies and telling him how amazing he is, and thanking him... It would make you pretty angry, and stop you from even thinking about the people enjoying the cookies etc... It would just make you mad...

I don`t care about credits, but can see why other people do. If you do something and someone else gets the credit, it may ruin it for you.

As for file types... I am of the camp that any format is fine for people to try the band... A good band in low quality is still recognizable as being worth it, and you can buy the cd to get the full quality...

I also don`t like iTunes because the quality is pretty much never good enough for me if I am paying for it. I would only use it for exclusives....

With anything I like, 320 is not enough, I need FLAC to satisfy me, so if I wasn`t someone that bought already, I would be driven to purchase for full quality on my headphones.

Just my opinions, I understand why people feel differently! Good discussion here.

  9. I'm currently not an uploader, but i was an uploader few years ago, so this thread seem interesting to answer for me.

I guess it would be considered more generous from me to share the cds/dvds/singles i have, and i would like to be nice with people here about this, but i have some reasons why i deceide to stop uploading stuff.

In the thread of my introduction, i said that i uploaded many cds on internet (not on M-H) few times ago, but i didn't gave any details about that. So here it is::: Sometime i even uploaded some rare PV or rare stuff. All in good quality .Flac and also .mp3 (320kbps) for those who prefer mp3. Video as .VOB and a smaller version .mp4 and even some scan of booklets, cd-inserts, cd, and everything in perfect quality. It was taking a lot of time to upload everything, but i was glad to do this for people who wasn't able to buy the cds. However, i was known on the name of Hizaki-Fan for my upload. Then, i stopped to upload things for some reasons. Here is one of my main reason::

The last time i uploaded a cd, after having seen some requests of people wanting this cd, i was shocked to see that someone uploaded to his website and credited my upload to the name of someone else. I wasn't uploading music to get credits or renown, but i didn't want my upload credited to the name of someone else; this is kinda rude and disrespectful to the uploader to thanks and give credits to sometome else. Also, many people was taking this upload from the website, and then many other websites reuploaded my upload and credited under the name of this fake other guy. Then, as a result, my upload was known to have been uploaded by someone else, and many people said "thanks" to this other guy. I was so shocked to see so many people retake my upload and to give credits to someone else, that i deceide to no longer upload stuff. I had a way to verify if that was from my upload, and each time, it was indeed from my upload. Since, i never uploaded anything. I think most people can understand how disrespectful some people has been toward a good uploader, it just removed me the desire to upload cds/dvds at a point that i don't plan to reupload anything in the future.

So i understand when Sai is saying that some people are rude toward the uploader if you upload with bad quality, because based on my own experience, i would say that even if you upload with perfect quality, some people will still find a way to be rude with you. This is why i don't regret my choice to stop uploading.

I would have called him out on every site and buried him in front of everyone.

I never really feel any content from sharing normal stuff unless people say something like oh I love this band I will buy, or where can I buy? Or sometimes vain things I admit like when they ask for my twitter to follow me, I enjoy that (even though I dont have twitter ehehh).

If someone reupload for their own gain in popopularity then just lol at how sad they are. I would reccomend getting a real hobby in life that you can feel accomplishment in and gain notoriety, but then again, knowing them, they would probably plagiarize or trace other peoples work and take credit, LOL.

  10. Hey guys,

I have been on many, many dates in my time. I don`t sleep around, but like to go on dates with many different girls, trying to look for one that will stick.

    Anyone else do the same?

I guess what planted the seed of interest in my early days was an interview with Gackt, where he said his favourite hobby was dating girls. I have always been interested in trying it out since then, and eventually learned how to do it.

I have tons of funny and crazy stories too, if anyone wants to hear about that, or just the hobby itself.

Let me know your dating frequency, and any interesting stories of your own!

  11. Hey guys,

Are there ever circumstances for you, where you feel, or even just think, that there is no point supporting an artist, or that your money is used in unscrupulous ways anyway?

For example, I used to love a certain band, but they started making music that I didn`t like. In any case, I felt as if they were a band that I always loved, and I would always give a chance to / stick with.

But... In this case, they are putting out music I think is bad first off, and second, when I looked at the frontman`s blog, I saw him taking pics of his expensive clothes and leather jackets... Including just taking pics of the tags on clothing or bags from expensive stores...

Isn`t it kind of wrong to you? Basically you are inadvertantly helping this guy buy stupid stuff he doesn`t need, and he is showing it off in vain ways to you, the fan... And what if I were vegetarian or vegan for example? I`m paying for leather jackets...

Then they post pics of smoking or drinking... And I am inadvertantly paying for that... Or even drugs, as some VK bands do, and may famous Rock bands have or still do. Eric Clapton snorted away millions, reportedly, and even started selling his guitar collection for more...

Or if the artist is really popular already, you are paying someone that makes more than you already.

But of course, if everyone followed this, the artist would go broke again (possibly).

Don Henley (Drummer and Vocalist of The Eagles) said once that many people have this kind of wrong sense of entitlement with art in any case, where they think art and expression should be free to you. But in the end it is a product, and it is made of hard-work and often passion. What do you think of this?

Then there is another way of viewing it, as a girl once told me whence explaining why she didn`t buy cd`s... She said something like less than a dollar actually goes to the artist... But in any case even if paying execs and studios, you still have to pay anyway for the artist to thrive, right?

Let me know what you think.

(DISCLAIMER: NOT ALL VIEWS EXPRESSED IN THIS POST ARE NECESSARILY MY OWN, I AM SIMPLY LISTING EXAMPLES FOR DISCUSSIONS SAKE IN SOME CASES.)

  12. I don't understand these sentences.

Did you mean, one or multiple files of yours got 20-30k downloads? WOW !! What file were those?

    db...id...page 1....what is that about?

With that last sentence, so you don't upload non-well-known artists because there isn't a big enough audience? That is interesting since in my opinion, if the artist is not well known, they couldn't hurt from a few hundred downloads for more exposure.

And yeah, Russians do upload tons, and actually try to keep old stuff alive.

As for he manga thing, the numbee one site for rips was French, which did many magazines. They also provided the scans for some of the biggest comics being scanlated. They stopped immediately afterthat letter, for all magazines, not just jump. IMO scanlation was never the same, and some comics stopped being translated and havent been done since.

For more obscure magazines and manga I am not sure if this is ultimately a good thing, but it was done with the intentions no?

  13. Japanese do not pirate as much, but when they do, filenames are often shortened or.in code, and they put stuff to sites you need membership, or one of.the two popular p2p sites they have. It is a pain, and better just to use an english or South American site.

Manga is ripped more by them, but also majorly done by French people. A lot of people quit ripping manga after a public letter by Shounen Jump asking them to.stop and explaining why.it hurt them. I think it was kind of beautiful that they.stopped, and showed how much.some people cared.

  14. Bad day, or maybe a bad life, because of a non-supportive mother who thinks only about her own needs and doesn't understand I have mine own too. Why did she even give birth to me if she's neglecting me now? That's because I'm not a cute baby anymore. Being an adult sucks :(. You're still the same person as before, but everyone suddenly turns away from you...

Never give up. Change this world.

  15. Had a horrible life and am used to horrible days, and facing them with a smile.

Through all the sadness, failure, embarassment, loneliness, lack of love, money, etc... I went through it all as myself, never changed who I was, I did it all as me, with a smile, and I never gave up.

Every bad day is just another challenge for me to make my bitch. I say bring it on.

The only thing now is to face the fact that the only thing I have to love is dieing, and to spend as much time with her as possible, to know we will be reborn together, and to live life with pride and accomplishment for her.

I tell all the bad things coming my way that they are going to have to kill me to stop me, because the headline reads, Tetora saves the world, Visual Kei forever.

Love me, hate me, no matter what.... U Cant See Me.

  17. singing in high pitch is way easier than doing a decent singing mid/low range voice

kyo really reminds me of what happened to chris corner through, like, ten or so years (compare before / after), they literally rely on the same pussy singing shortcuts

kyo has the luxury of fronting a still decent band, though, and is still being creative with his voice now and than.

As a singer I would say its the opposite? Higher notes are much harder to accurately produce and maintain accuracy with than low or mid voice.

Most singers over time lose their high voice, nor their low voice.

  18. I have:

    Sony:

    XBA-1 $100

    XBA-40 (4 Drivers) $300

    XBA-H3 (Hybrid, with 3 Dynamic and 1 Standard) $300

    MDR-7550 (Studio) $750

    EX1000 (Studio) $750

Prices listed are original average price, you can get most for cheaper now except H3 which varies.

Next I will try all Audio Technica high-end`s, I have always been fond of them.
