Is anyone else going to AN this year? I missed umbrella last time since I was leaving for a trip on Saturday, so I'm really happy they were invited back.

How is it this cold in May?

I have a very mellow family, and my mom and sister both listen mainly to rock music too, so they deal with it as well as can be expected. I know they don't really love VK music, for the most part, but they're kind of intrigued by the costumes and theatrics. My mom is a David Bowie fan and she has a vague interest in artists like Marilyn Manson, so it's not exactly shocking to her. She'd walk into my room when I was watching L'Arc and BUCK-TICK concert DVDs and linger for a bit to watch what was going on, ask me questions, etc. My sister likes even more ridiculous music than I do, so she can't really judge either.

Akira Ishige from the telephones looks great recently, IMO. Plus his laugh is adorable, and he has dimples.

Really happy to see that both of the singers from NOA are starting new projects.

For sure, the bands he chooses are usually way more interesting live than the Youtube videos on the site make them seem, so I'm definitely still expecting a great show from all of them.

Is anyone else going to catch NMFT7? I'm going to the first Toronto show. I'm not super excited about the line-up from the samples I've heard so far, but I wasn't any of the other years I went and I always ended up really enjoying at least one of the bands. Plus it's only $10, so I can drag my friends along without feeling like a jerk. ^I don't mind HaKU going more pop, but I'm not crazy about Haruna singing lead. I think Tsujimura's voice is way more interesting. Hope it's just for the one song.

I like both. I do listen to way more male vocals, but I think that's mostly because a lot of the genres I like are dominated by men.
