^Yeah, I've liked most of the tracks I've heard from them, so I'm sure the albums are worth a listen. I checked out their latest video the other day and thought it sounded really good, just never got around to a full release for whatever reason. I think I even had DEEPER downloaded on my old computer around when it came out because I liked One Me Two Hearts and Talkie Dance so much, just never seemed to remember when I had time.

The only real beauty routine I have beyond just washing my face, brushing my hair and exfoliating occasionally in the shower is managing the hair on my face. I'm pretty sure I have a mild case of hirsutism, and it's super annoying because I have really dark, coarse hair, so if I miss even one or two I feel like it's really noticeable. It's fairly manageable with Nair and regular tweezing, but I'm still trying to figure out a better, less time-consuming way to do it.

While I've enjoyed some of the songs I've heard from them over the years, I've never been able to will myself to listen to a full GALNERYUS release featuring Sho on vocals. I really should give their more recent stuff a shot, because I liked the theme they did for Hunter x Hunter a lot, but Yama-B's super earnest vibe and general goofiness were the main things I liked about them, tbh, so it's still kind of hard to force myself to make the adjustment...

I've been watching Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works. It's on Netflix and I always liked the look of the Servant characters when I saw fanart of them floating around, so I thought I'd give it a shot. It's alright, but I'm getting really sick of every single battle ending in a draw or with one person going "Finish them!" and their ally basically going "No, that's enough... for now!" and walking away.

Why? The singer recorded parts for Ryutaro Arimura's solo album, and THE NOVEMBERS were also on the Plastic Tree tribute album. I doubt they would do it on purpose, but I don't think it's unlikely at all that they would accidentally lift something from Plastic Tree.

I’m the INFJ, but I’ve gotten INFP before as well. Quiet, idealistic, willing to devote a lot of energy if it’s for the right cause, prone to burnout.

If you consider Rose Noire to be VK (technically they're not on Starwave Records, they're on Kiwamu's gothic label Darkest Labyrinth), the violinist Jill is a member of the metal band Unlucky Morpheus now. It's not a huge transition in terms of aesthetic, but it's a pretty big jump in terms of sound.

HeaRt changing their name to "tRaeH" is pretty bad. I mean, after trying to google info about them recently, I can understand why they did it, but it just looks so unappealing. I also keep misreading it as "tRasH".

Just saw CHAI tonight. I only really know about 5~6 songs of theirs, but they played literally all of the ones I know, so it worked out pretty well. N.E.O. was definitely the highlight for me. Knew it'd be fun to dance to live after I saw this version. I just wish they played a bit longer - they only performed for about 50 minutes to an hour, and the time went by super fast. Tickets were only like $15 though, so I can't complain.

Kazuki looks super cute. I really like that denim shirt. The colour scheme for this one is really nice overall too. Rui needs to lose that jacket though.

Oh, I can't believe I didn't mention ZIGZO! I'm sure most people know them, but because I saw someone who thought Tetsu dropped off the map or something once: ZIGZO is made up of Tetsu from MALICE MIZER, Sakura from L'Arc~en~Ciel and Ryo and Den from BY-SEXUAL. Plus Tetsu also has the bands nil, The JUNEJULYAUGUST, THE BLACK COMET CLUB BAND and Indies Denryoku, although ZIGZO is probably the only project of his that qualifies as "successful".

I'm not sure about the timeline, but apparently Yuichi and Hiroshi from ROTTENGRAFFTY used to be in a VK band called TWIST JET. ^"PIERROT came back, huh. Congratulations. When PIERROT were in their indie period, there was a band called TWIST JET that was active in Kyoto. ...what!? In the middle of the second row, the person on the left and the person on the right look familiar~." Here's one of the only videos I could find of them: Also Yuma from el-Ethnic Legist- ended up becoming the singer for the regular metal band LIGHTNING and one of the three main vocalists for the doujin metal band IRON ATTACK! (Although both bands are also pretty campy and mostly known for performing overseas a lot, I think IRON ATTACK! are probably better known than el are at this point. Especially since YAMA-B started singing for them more regularly.) Here's a comparison of the three:

Still feels oddly surreal that I actually met another Dogs D'Amour fan around my age in person like 6~7 years ago or something. Still feel a bit bad that I didn't think to ask for her contact info. Would have been cool to go to that LA Guns show with someone who knew the songs.
